18/06/2025: The gluten-free pizza and desserts are delicious. Convenient paid parking in front of the restaurant, but it's a bit difficult to find a place. The staff is very friendly, the restaurant is large and very clean.

25/05/2025: The place where I ate and was treated worse. Three cuts out of 3 were cooked incorrectly, I ordered a hamburger and after a quarter of an hour they told me they were out of stock. Pizza with porcini mushrooms from the menu arrived with champignon mushrooms. Terrible pizzas, the frozen ones are better. Very long waiting times, 1 hour from arrival at the restaurant. I had to remind the waitress that she had marked an extra dish. Bread and side dishes late compared to the dishes. At the cash register when we were asked if everything was ok, when we reported it the owner (?) immediately changed her attitude (rude) giving excuses that were later denied. I paid with a 100 euro note the bill of 61, they gave me 39 euros counted to the cent. DO NOT GO THERE

13/04/2025: Wir waren schon zum 3. Mal hier und sind nach wie vor begeistert! Die Gerichte sind authentisch, sehr lecker und mit Liebe präsentiert. Die besten Tagliarin weit und breit.Auch mit den Kindern war es ein sehr angenehmer Abend Michele der uns betreute war sehr charmant und professionell zugleich. Chapeau an die ganze Crew e grazie mille!

28/12/2024: Siamo capitati per caso giorovagando per le Langhe e non potevamo essere più fortunati. Cibo sublime dall’ antipasto al dolce, vini super ma nella zona puoi trovare di ogni. Gran qualità e grande accoglienza. Straconsigluato

08/06/2025: Siamo stati a cena con amici sabato sera...all'ingresso campeggiano numerosissime fotografie con personaggi dello sport e del calcio (Ronaldo, Achille Lauro..insomma VIP) ma nonostante questo, che a mio parere è pubblicità ingannevole, fin dall'inizio ho potuto testare poca cura e professionalità nei confronti del cliente; al nostro ingresso ci hanno indicato, tipo agenti di rampa (insomma quegli addetti che fanno fare manovra all'aeroporto sulla pista di rollaggio) dov'era il nostro tavolo, senza accompagnarci e nonostante la prenotazione lo stesso non era nemmeno pronto (prenotazione per 4 persone, tavolo apparecchiato per tre) hanno dovuto operare per estrarre l'estensione del tavolo.. tovaglia stropicciato ed arravazzonata. Servizio al tavolo alquanto "rustico" il camerire penso facesse quel lavoro da massimo mezz'ora infatti dopo l'ordinazione abbiamo chiesto una focaccia per stuzzicare qualcosa e per pronta risposta ci è stato detto che la comanda ormai era già partita. Nel momento in cui sono arrivate le bevande l9 stesso pseudo-cameriere molto elegantemente ha sporto la bibita al commensale al mio fianco facendola passare davanti al mio viso...🤔🤦‍♀️. Il cibo davvero buono ma il servizio davvero pessimo, finita acqua e vino abbiamo chiesto altra acqua e vino che sono stati prontamente portati, peccato che abbiano lasciato tutti i vuoti sul tavolo con comprensibile disagio per il proseguo della cena...lo pseudo-cameriere scontra con il fianco il cestino del pane (vuoto) e non si cura minimamente di portarlo via o di chiedere se ne volessimo altro...dulcis in fundo dopo più di mezz'ora che avevamo finito di cenare nessuno si è preoccupato di chiedere se volessimo dolce o caffè...abbiamo dovuto chiamarlo noi Esperienza negativa

12/04/2025: Peccato che abbiamo scoperto questo locale a fine stagione invernale. La struttura è calda ed accogliente, arredata con stile montagna. Il menù è diversificato e soprattutto ben cucinato. Ottimi gli gnocchi ai formaggi e la girella di plin. Buona la pizza, così come i dolci. Proprietari e staff estremamente gentili e sorridenti. Difficili riscontrare tanta qualità e gentilezza in alta montagna! La prossima stagione ci recheremo spesso. CONSIGLIATO

05/05/2025: We have been several times and have always had a good time... last time, just before Easter, I would just make a note on the service. Surely the waitress with the glasses was a little distracted and in addition to insisting that the wine we ordered was the right one and addressing us as if we were long-time friends, she concluded with all the chips spilled on the table. Maybe it was a 'bad' day, but fortunately we continued lunch with another waitress without any problems... Extra care needed to be taken in the innermost room. However, I ate well as always. Well done in the kitchen!

18/06/2025: Belle terrasse. table réservée bien placée et dressée avec goût. Bon accueil. Le français est compris. Le jambon de pays est très bon en entrée. Le poisson du lac sur un lit de petits légumes est appétissant à l’œil mais ridicule en quantité. Le tiramisu est bon. Vin blanc du Piémont Arneis très agréable. En conclusion un peu déçu sur le plat principal.

04/06/2025: My companions and I dined here for lunch at around 12 noon on a Wednesday. We each got the light lunch menu which was around 24 euros. It includes a main course, a dessert, coffee, and water. The tortelli ripieni al lucioperca was delicious and filling. I highly recommend it. The tiramisu and crème brûlée are really good and are highly recommended as well. The staff are efficient and hospitable. The ambience was lovely and the interiors are tastefully designed. We look forward to dining here again when we come back to Stresa.

28/06/2025: More than starred restaurants!!! We had lunch with the family and we really appreciated the quality of the fish first of all, very fresh and cooked to perfection: the seafood salad was very tasty and very light, with octopus with potatoes and marinated anchovies on bruschetta bread. The first courses were sublime, both spaghetti and gnocchi with clams, perfectly risottoed (and perfectly cooked), whose aroma spread throughout the restaurant. The desserts we took were delicious and very tasty, tart with ricotta and chocolate chips and crème caramel, all prepared by chef Antonio, a kind and very helpful person. The owner and the assistant in the dining room were also very kind and helpful. Professional and punctual service. Adequate prices in the quality/price ratio. It will certainly be a constant point of reference for our lunches/dinners also in the future. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL! ABSOLUTELY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

28/06/2025: Good restaurant, although - in my humble personal opinion - with some "discrepancies". Introduction. I started going to Pollastrini, although not assiduously, since the 90s. That said, discovering that from a place with a purely Piedmontese vocation, the restaurant has "transformed" (it changed management, so I was told, about 18 months ago), into a seafood trattoria, raised some doubts in me. Leaving aside this necessary introduction, I enjoyed an excellent veal tartare and excellent agnolotti with butter and sage. The wine and spirits list is equally well-curated and varied. I would have liked to taste a local grappa, but the person who looked after me during lunch, correctly - warned me that I did not have one. In this regard, with regard to the person who looked after me throughout the meal, I would like to underline his competence, kindness and professionalism, as well as his courtesy. I certainly can't say the same thing about another individual (I don't know if he was a partner, the owner or something else) who, in addition to walking away from my table while I was still talking to him, was careful not to say goodbye when I left the restaurant. What can I say... even if I went to Pollastrini to enjoy a good lunch and not to attend a course in etiquette, I think that a little education never hurts.

11/04/2025: ambiente con volte in mattoni, personale gentile e preparato, servizio impeccabile. Piccola entre di cous cous, antipasto di cavoli -toma e nocciole (ma anche i moscardini al sugo che ho assaggiato erano buoni e puliti bene), gnocchi al bleu (non forte) ma anche la pasta con polpo era buona, baccalà stupendo. Dolcini con il caffé. Ottimo e ci torno. Il conto non so, ero invitato, ma ci torno, sicuramente

13/05/2025: Great place for a walk. Lots of benches, near the lake there is a playground for children. After passing the park there is a descent to the beach accessible for strollers. The park is very well maintained and has beautiful views of the mountains and the lake. I recommend it, it is worth a visit.
