04/10/2025: Excellent risotto with porcini mushrooms. Very good vitello tonnato. Perfect meal.

20/09/2025: A very nice terrace on the first floor, and very friendly and charming service. The fresh pasta and fish dishes are particularly good. The portions are generous; it's hard to manage three full courses. Ideally, therefore, starters and side dishes are shared. We had the eggplant timbale and the mussels as starters, and both were very aromatic. The kitchen also prepares meat excellently. A particularly positive aspect is that many wines are available by the glass, so you can try more. We enjoyed the hospitality several times.

The fried calamari was excellent, so the pasta was seafood. Gluten- and lactose-free desserts. Friendly staff, beautiful view of the lake. Excellent dinner, fair price.

12/03/2026: Excellent pizza: perfect dough, light and easy to digest thanks to the long leavening process, and fresh, carefully selected ingredients. The place is simple yet welcoming and well-maintained. Antonio takes almost obsessive care over his dough, and the result is evident in every bite. Teresa welcomes customers with warmth and attentiveness. Kindness, courtesy, and customer service are truly their trademarks, which, when added to everything else, make them truly unique. Congratulations!!

02/06/2026: A fantastic restaurant! It's a nice place with good food, but what impressed me most was the quality of the pizza dough, which I found truly light and digestible. The atmosphere is very warm, and the staff is extremely friendly. The price is truly fair: a generously sized pizza, a medium red draft beer, and a craft liqueur, totaled €34. How many stars? I can't help but give it a perfect rating, because I can't find any flaws. As soon as I have the chance, I'll be back.

01/06/2026: A very pleasant surprise. My favorite restaurant in Stresa since tonight. The food was excellent, the service was very attentive. Andrea, the owner, is a guarantee in every way. And then, you can find the white myrtle. And can we talk about the wine list? And that white Genepy??? Superb dinner, the price was actually low for the quality of the ingredients and the attentive service. Well done, well done, well done!

04/05/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at Antico Verbano on May 2 and 3, 2026, and couldn't have asked for a better stay for our mini-family vacation (2 adults and 2 children). **Strengths:** * **The View:** Waking up to Lake Maggiore right below your balcony is a rejuvenating experience. The location is truly "pieds dans l'eau," and the panoramic view is breathtaking, especially with the spring colors of early May. * **Family Space:** We stayed in a spacious and well-maintained Family Apartment. Having two separate bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchenette (complete with dishwasher and microwave) made everything much easier and more relaxing than in a traditional hotel room. * **Strategic Location:** The resort is perfectly located in Meina. A short drive took us to Arona and Stresa for our tour of the Borromean Islands, but it was equally wonderful to enjoy the tranquility of the property and its meticulously maintained garden. * **Welcome:** The staff was extremely kind and professional, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The on-site restaurant was also excellent for a quality dinner without having to leave the car. **In summary:** If you're looking for a place that combines the comforts of home with the charm of a high-end resort, this is the place. The kids had fun and we enjoyed a relaxing stay. We'll definitely be back.

29/04/2026: We had a wonderful stay at the Antico Verbano resort. It's very well located, between Arona (15 minutes away) and Stresa (20 minutes away)... when there's no traffic, of course. The resort boasts a beautiful view of the lake. We were able to try out two apartments and one room; the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The bedding was of very good quality. One small drawback, however, was the lack of utensils in the kitchen; one chopping board for two apartments is a bit stingy. The resort's strongest point is the exceptional kindness of the staff, who are always ready to help and very pleasant. We had a problem during dinner at the restaurant, and the compensation they offered was excellent. I highly recommend the resort.

The setting is elegant yet informal, ideal for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. The staff was extremely kind and attentive, always available without ever being intrusive. The real highlight, however, was undoubtedly the food. Each dish was prepared with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients and presented with great care. The flavors were balanced and authentic, showcasing the best of local cuisine. From appetizers to dessert, everything was impeccable and truly delicious. The evening was made even more special by the peaceful and pleasant atmosphere, which invites you to take your time and savor every moment. It's one of those places that makes you feel good, where you'd gladly return without a second thought. In conclusion, Mac Miche is a true gem in Limone: beautiful location, excellent food, and an overall experience absolutely worth having. Highly recommended!

A few more cleaning measures in the room and perhaps a boost of heating on days that still need it would be perfect. Even the outdoor area, closed for the winter season, needs to be revived like spring!
