15/08/2025: We ate here twice during our week stay in Verbania. With three people, the food and service was excellent. Fresh ingredients and tasty and good price. With large group, the service was not so great. Many in our party were done eating while others were still waiting for their plates. They cannot really accommodate a large group. Food is good for price.

The Al Castello restaurant in Moncalieri is a true gem: a historic venue, expertly renovated, combining the charm of the past with a modern and welcoming atmosphere. The highlight is undoubtedly the new terrace, with an unparalleled view of the magnificent castle: the perfect spot for a charming dinner, especially on summer evenings. The menu is varied and well-curated, with carefully prepared meat and fish dishes, and a light, thin-crust pizza topped with quality ingredients—both local and international. The wine list is extensive and select, perfect to accompany every course. Special mention goes to the desserts, all homemade and truly unmissable! Another plus: the restaurant is open every evening, which is by no means a given. I highly recommend it for those seeking good food, a welcoming atmosphere, and an unforgettable view.

14/08/2025: I went to dinner at this restaurant for the first time to check out the great reviews I'd read. I admit I was surprised: the staff was polite and courteous, the menu was niche, with a wide selection and, above all, ingenuity in the preparation of the dishes. There was a vast and excellent selection of wines. The atmosphere was clean and well-kept, with a beautiful view of the city of Turin and the Moncalieri castle. I'll definitely be back. 👍

16/08/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while strolling and decided to try it out. It's rather unassuming from the outside, but the interior is air-conditioned and very pleasant. The menu offers a wide selection of classic Italian dishes, albeit only in Italian—which fits with the authentic charm. We tried pasta and seafood, both of which were delicious and freshly prepared. We particularly liked the value for money, which is really fair for the quality. All in all, a successful visit; we would definitely return.

16/08/2025: We were looking for a restaurant serving typical Italian cuisine, particularly with very good pizzas, and we weren't disappointed. Two excellent appetizers followed by two equally good pizzas. Attentive service and staff. More than excellent value for money. We recommend it without hesitation.

From Meina everything is easily accessible for tourism and discovering the beauties of Lake Maggiore! We will definitely be back! Thanks to all the staff! La farinata è stata un vero colpo di fulmine: croccante al punto giusto e dal sapore autentico. La pizza è spettacolare, con un impasto leggero e ingredienti di qualità. Abbiamo provato anche i tegamini: un’esplosione di gusto! Il tutto accompagnato da un clima accogliente e familiare, che ti fa sentire subito a casa. 19/07/2025: What can I say... It was a fabulous discovery, and above all, I've never had such a good, albeit very unusual, pizza. A cross between a pan pizza and a pinsa, a very light, delicious dough with excellent toppings and a good selection on the menu. For those still hungry, I recommend trying the Chef's "fuzion" creations: truly delicious combinations. It's now become a regular stop when I go downtown.

20/08/2025: We stayed one night at Cascina Spinerola Charme & Relax and had a truly pleasant experience. The location is picturesque, nestled in the Monferrato countryside, and the Arborea spa is well-maintained, offering a comprehensive program that offers moments of true relaxation. Clean rooms, a welcoming atmosphere, and friendly staff made our stay very pleasant. Why 4 stars instead of 5? The only thing that left us perplexed was the type of eggs at the breakfast buffet: they were Category 3. This means they come from intensive farms, where the hens live in cramped quarters, without access to the outdoors, in unsustainable conditions, and of inferior quality. For a property so committed to well-being and attention to detail, it would be desirable to offer higher-quality eggs, sourced from more respectful farms and not the worst ones available on the market. Overall, it was a very positive stay, and with this small adjustment, it could easily become a full 5 stars.
