22/02/2026: Welcoming restaurant in the small square of Stresa with outdoor tables, fish and meat dishes, fresh pasta, very good, light pizza, exquisite desserts, very kind and attentive staff. Must try!

16/03/2026: Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it. I ordered a set menu: first course, second course, and side dish. The first course was a slightly overcooked pasta, and the second course was a slice of reheated, tough porchetta with a side of diced fennel salad, poorly presented. I won't be back!

24/02/2026: A very welcoming place, thanks to its good quality food and service, which is very attentive to customers and their requests. For foreign tourists, eating at Il Cavaliere restaurant was a pleasant surprise, as were the reasonable bill and the complimentary after-dinner drinks.

31/08/2025: A great find near Bene Vagienna, stumbled upon by chance after a visit to a flea market. Authentic, genuine cuisine that you'll remember fondly, excellent service, and fair prices. Attention to detail, like the cover charge with very good bread and breadsticks (which isn't the case, however), customer service without stress and persistence in offering. Pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. Congratulations

11/02/2026: We came for lunch and had a great time! All the fish dishes were excellent, and the fried food was plentiful. And the Sorrento limoncello at the end of the meal is a must!

The atmosphere is welcoming and charming, with a touch of old-world elegance that makes everything even more special. A special thanks to the owner, who was incredibly kind and attentive: she recommended a truly delightful evening meal and even arranged a little surprise for my husband—a gesture we greatly appreciated and which made our stay even more memorable.

09/03/2026: Average food, good pizza, "nonexistent" desserts, but the location needs modernizing, cleaning, and renovating! The staff's friendliness is a plus.

19/02/2026: An Italian restaurant just the way we like them...very good value for money and the desserts are perfect...thank you for your welcome. We were with a dog, no problem. (dogs are okay)

23/03/2026: Summary: Courtesy = 0....Customer Service = 0..."Know-how" = 0...perfect trio. Sunday afternoon, a group of 20 people, adults and children, after the afternoon beach volleyball game (7 pm), we asked for a quick aperitif, with the intention of also ordering some focaccia/pizza... Note: the tables and room were completely empty at that time... We were told: "There are NO tables available, they're all booked" and that the only "available" space was the small table and sofa in the hallway... Even though it wasn't suitable, we stopped for a drink. Aside from a small beer served in medium-sized plastic cups, a standard Spritz and Campari, NO appetizers were provided, so we had to make do with several packets of San Carlo crisps... (Courtesy & Availability). Our total expense and the restaurant's profit were significantly lower than we had anticipated by combining various pizzas/focaccias...("savoir faire"--->TOP). We were unlucky...highly discouraged.

15/02/2026: Valentine's Day dinner. The menu wasn't to our liking; we found each dish too sweet. We ate on the lovely veranda. It was a shame the hot air blew onto our table, which I had to ask them to turn off. The service was average, not particularly attentive. The bill was steep, but it didn't quite make up for our experience. I don't know if we'll be back.
