21/06/2025: Aperitif with friends: the vegetarian option was disappointing, they practically removed the meat part from the non-vegetarian menu and therefore we practically had less to eat. While on the one hand they offer a platter of cold cuts and cheeses, in the vegetarian one you cannot leave only 3 pieces of cheese, an alternative to cold cuts should be found.
13/06/2025: I ate the creamed cod, but unfortunately I didn't like it. The dish was served with a cream of carrots and blueberry puree. Not only that the cod was bland, tasteless, there was not a trace of garlic or bay leaves or pepper, a shame because I really like cod.

12/12/2025: Some friends took me to this place for lunch. They have a set menu, but I only had two main courses and two desserts. Everything was served kindly and professionally. The price is very reasonable. However, despite the limited menu, it's worth stopping by.
05/12/2025: I went for dinner. I recommend the anchovies in green sauce... excellent!
The staff were kind and attentive.
Excellent food!

10/11/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance while strolling along Via Milano.
We discovered a delightful, original place, with soft colors.
I also noticed they also exhibited some works by "young" artists.
The staff was kind, welcoming, and well-organized.
They presented us with the menu options, and we chose the one with a first course, second course (all to choose from) and water for just €12.
There were four of us, and we found the food fresh and well-prepared.
There was also a little girl with us, and the staff, as far as possible, accommodated her requests.
I saw they were organizing a Bagna Cauda event at their place... unfortunately, I missed it, but... I'll be back! 😉
25/10/2025: Very nice place, welcoming atmosphere! I went with four friends for lunch and we tried a bit of everything from appetizers to first courses and second courses, spending less than 20 euros each! Highly recommended! I recommend booking because tables sell out quickly.

05/11/2025: True hospitality in a small hotel with a big heart. Just 2 km from Stresa, it has parking and a private beach, excellently soundproofed rooms, and a breakfast buffet with homemade pastries, cured meats and cheeses, and freshly cooked eggs.
The staff are friendly and professional, both in their welcome, room cleaning, and breakfast service. Congratulations, we'll be back!

A bit noisy on weekdays, right on the street. Parking is available across the street. Staff and manager are friendly and accommodating. They always try to accommodate.
Approximately 2 km to Stresa, not recommended for walking.
No continuous sidewalk. Part of the way is on the street.

25/10/2025: How can you give a very good review of a vulgar pizzeria!!!! Where the waitresses are unpleasant, unsmiling, only the pizza chef is smiling and seems to enjoy his job. A tax of 2 euros is charged per place setting in addition to the bill; this is the first time I've seen this in Italy.
Shameful, avoid this establishment. It doesn't deserve such a good rating. I'm sorry for this bad experience; it will help future customers in their choice. This tax of 2 euros per place setting doesn't make you want to tip the staff. Management should be aware of this. Best regards.

22/11/2025: A truly positive experience, from the gastronomic welcome to the spectacular meat appetizers, to the excellent saffron risotto with osso buco. The cellar is well-stocked with local and international wines, the owner is very kind and helpful, and the prices are reasonable.
02/11/2025: One of the best restaurants in the area, with Chef Maurizio preparing extraordinary, meticulously crafted dishes using top-quality ingredients. Consuelo, meanwhile, is a very attentive and friendly maître d', yet capable of giving each guest space and privacy. A shining example of professionalism and love for the cuisine and the local area. Highly recommended!!!

12/11/2025: I've been wanting to try this place for a long time, and I wasn't disappointed! The wine bar has a perfect style, and the staff is incredibly friendly.
We shared appetizers, including the delicious tomini cheese and stuffed onion, and we had the risotto with creamed peppers and sausage.
For dessert, we had a truly delicious panna cotta and a hazelnut cake.
Highly recommended!

Once a year, you can afford the €45 price tag for white truffle.
Although, frankly, it all seems a bit excessive. But after studying the market price...
26/10/2025: Excellent restaurant. We were advised to eat outside, as the restaurant was fully booked. It's a shame the outdoor seating isn't closed off enough because yesterday it was chilly. The location is also good, very close to Moncalvo's main square.
