26/05/2026: Great members, a nice 24-hour bar that's a lifesaver. Their only downside is that they're on a street where parking is difficult. But who cares, they're great.

26/05/2026: This is a lovely neighborhood cafe, bar and tabacconist. The staff are very friendly. Food is delicious. A very welcoming atmosphere. It is well used by the locals. Delicious paninis.

21/05/2026: I don’t know how about the food but the people working there, Especially the semi bold guy… TERRIBLE. I didn’t meet such an unpleasent person in the whole Italy. I had the bike accident, I was crying and wanted to sit to order something to drink and use bathroom - they reffused both as he said THEY ARE THE RESTAURANT…. wow…. Didnt get this kind of treatment ever anywhere.

11/05/2026: Extremely unfriendly staff. We simply wanted to order two drinks and were turned away. The server then made fun of us.

The menu doesn't rely on the same old, tried-and-true dishes: no predictable culurgiones, no banal combinations. The chef dares—and succeeds. Mussels and pecorino, shrimp and mushrooms, pairings that pique curiosity on the menu and convince on the plate at first bite. Generous, carefully prepared dishes, beautiful to look at and even better to eat, where creativity and imagination always find a perfect balance. The service is another strong point: Maria Paola is impeccable. Kind, smiling, fast, always present without ever being intrusive. She makes you feel welcomed, cared for, and pampered. The kind of service that makes lunch a true pleasure. La Piazzetta is the ideal place for a midday lunch, especially for those who love fish and prefer substance over form. Here you won't find a fancy atmosphere or a restaurant from glossy photos: if you're looking for a refined establishment, you've probably come to the wrong place. But if you're looking for true quality, excellent ingredients, and surprising cuisine, then you're in the right place. I've been here for ten days and I return every day for lunch, without hesitation. The only real flaw? Having only just discovered it... and having to deal with being closed on Saturdays and Sundays. La Piazzetta doesn't promise, it delivers. And when the quality is this high, nothing else is needed.

09/06/2026: They bounced me and three other black guys. Outside the nightclub, there were plenty of black guys who hadn't passed the "selection." The bald bodyguard with the cap kept insisting that we hadn't passed the selection (he was letting guys in wearing t-shirts and ripped pants, while we were wearing polo shirts/shirts and long, undamaged jeans). It's indecent that a guy should be discriminated against because of his skin color in 2026.

22/05/2026: It's a terrible place and the staff, especially those at the door, are extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. I don't recommend this place; there are better options in Milan.

23/04/2026: Great lakeside spot with a relaxed, easygoing atmosphere. The location stands out. Sitting right by the water with a clear view over the lake makes it a place where you naturally stay a bit longer. The food is simple but well prepared. Fresh ingredients, good portions and balanced flavors. It fits the setting without trying too much. Service is friendly and relaxed, matching the overall pace of the place. Prices are on the higher side, which is the only real downside.

25/10/2025: Nothing special, I've visited Californias that were definitely more cozy and welcoming, but here I found a few uncomfortable tables for a coffee or a quick snack, evidently much more suited to the type of visitor to Corso Como. Unfortunately, the cheesecake wasn't even up to par with a cake with this name because it must have been at least a day old; in fact, the crust was completely soaked and the filling was quite sour and lumpy. On the other hand, the Americano coffee (€1.80) was excellent, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

21/10/2025: The cashier was a bit rude, she was in a hurry, there was only one table, I went in, she answered me rudely....but hello! I went to the one in Moscova, where the staff treats you very well.

12/09/2025: Just had the value menu - absolutely delicious and fantastic value for money! Service was friendly and welcoming. Selected the local wine, Benaco Bresciano Rosso, and was not disappointed. Meal for two with wine was £65. Location is next to the main road but it did not spoil our experience.

12/09/2025: I had a wonderful dining experience at the lakeside restaurant. The refined dishes, carefully presented, delighted my palate. The staff was always courteous and helpful, ensuring impeccable service. The atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable and memorable. 15/05/2026: Very unfriendly staff. Food was good but the portions were small. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. The staff spoke as if they were sitting in their own living room at home. It's like the old days of 1980s gastronomy, when things like this were acceptable. But in 2023, it's simply outdated. Hence, 2 stars.

14/05/2026: Not recommended, even if you can't find any other food. The food is terrible; the spaghetti was definitely from two days ago. The grandmothers are very unfriendly and certainly belong to the former "elite" of Sicily. The place is full of intrusive flies that even fly onto your plate or into your wine glass in the evening. When we asked for a different glass of wine because it was dirty and had a fly on it, we were charged for it again. We hadn't looked at the reviews and are truly ashamed that such a place can still exist. It needs to be taken over by someone who actually knows something about cooking and service.

07/02/2026: STAND AWAY !!! I showed up at this hotel for check-in a little before 2am on a Sunday in July 2024. There I was met with a closed gate with no way to get in for check-in. I have my own car and it is almost impossible to park in the narrow street by the hotel, but I was able to temporarily park in the driveway of a neighbor of the hotel. The hotel is located within a fenced area with a large metal gate and it cannot be opened from the outside and it is therefore not possible to enter either by car or on foot. There is no poster or other information at the gate on how to contact the hotel. The hotel looks completely uninhabited and the neighbor with whom I parked said that there were nonsensical and problematic conditions there. I then called the hotel manager on the number listed on Booking.com and was told that check-in had to be done in the city center at another hotel and that that was the only option I had. To get to this hotel you have to drive through impassable narrow streets with masses of tourists and I told the host that this was out of the question and that he had to show up at the hotel so that I could check in normally. Important: There is no place in the hotel information that it says that check-in should be several kilometers away from the hotel. He refused to come to the hotel to check in there and I therefore had to just leave and find another hotel. This matter is in my opinion completely incomprehensible. I have been on vacation in Europe now for almost four weeks but have never come close to this behavior from a hotel host. STEER AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL !!
