07/06/2025: Premetto che non è mia consuetudine scrivere recensioni né in senso positivo che negativo. Trovare insalata nel mio piatto ancora sporca di terra non è stato gradevole. A maggior motivo quando la stessa cosa è avvenuta ad un amica seduta al tavolo con me. Fatto presente il tutto al cameriere lo stesso si è ripetutamente scusato eliminando le portate dal conto. Purtroppo devo constatare che la qualità dei piatti in generale è peggiorata rispetto ad alcuni (pochi) anni fa. Rapporto qualità prezzo non adeguato. Nb. Da porre attenzione agli scontrini. In due occasioni distinte ( pranzo di Pasqua e pranzo con amici) vi erano più pietanze di quelle ordinate). LOCATION STUPENDA

30/05/2025: Bella la presentazione ma il cibo nulla di eccezionale, vale di più il panorama con la vista sul lago. Non penso di ritornarci.

28/06/2025: Locale arredato in modo semplice e minimalista, atmosfera un pò chic con uno spazio anche all'aperto. Buono il servizio, gentile il personale e sicuramente buono il cibo, con proposte originali. Hanno anche una bella carta dei vini. Forse i prezzi sono un po' alti per alcune portate, ad esempio alcuni secondi; abbiamo mangiato una buona amatriciana ma ritengo che, anche in questo caso, il suo costo poteva inferiore.

01/06/2025: L'esperienza vale il nome del locale. Assolutamente non adatto a bambini in quanto nonostante il cibo si di ottima qualità ma troppo elaborato per i bambini. Inoltre è da matti il prezzo di 3 piatti di affettati (due fette di salame 4 di coppa, pancetta e mortadella) 51€ e mi fermo qui. Locale consigliato solo per matti

29/01/2026: Quick pizza before the concert... (alas, it was the only one open) Pizza: I've had worse, but definitely better!!! Cover charge €2.50, even though we ate in the cold and drank from plastic cups. Fast service (we were the only customers). Next time, the SANDWICH STAIRS in front of the Fabrique!

21/02/2026: I hope the chef at this beloved restaurant lives a long and healthy life. Therefore, this chef must have intentionally made the food salty for us, foreigners. Because serving insanely salty food is a given, suggesting the chef is either severely zinc deficient or has lost his sense of taste due to diabetes. If the manager sees this, I hope he recommends a health checkup or long-term treatment. I'm also concerned that the front desk staff may be under so much stress that their cortisol levels are too high. If at least two people had such a sullen expression that they left half their food behind, wouldn't it be reasonable to ask what the problem is? However, I'm more concerned that they may have neglected their customer service due to their overwork. Considering all these medical issues, I recommend closing the restaurant for about a year to recuperate. Since it's right in front of the cathedral, the atmosphere is a 4. While it's not immediately visible, dining at an outside table, thanks to the bustling streetscape, shouldn't be a bad experience.

14/02/2026: If there is 0 i will give this place a solid zero, ordered caesar salad and the chicken came RAW! As it was placed directly from the fridge to the plate, this says a lot about the food quality and the hygiene… the clams pasta came very very oily but at least it was acceptable enough to eat, the staff are rude and careless about your complaints which was the cherry on top for this absolute worst experience in my italy visit !, will never recommend this place.

26/02/2026: It's a very rustic, but charming restaurant. Located in the cellar, it fully embraces the wine cellar/wine storage theme. You can also buy a large number of wine bottles there, but I can't comment on that. As for the food, it was very tasty, and I believe them when they say it was homemade. The only downside is that the portion was a bit small for the price (normal for the area, but usually larger portions), and there's also a €3 table charge.

05/08/2025: It remains one of the best views in Bergamo, but since the California Bakery chain took over, the food has unfortunately been practically frozen, the service slow and indifferent, and it's also expensive. It's fine for a coffee.

15/07/2025: A bar that, given its location and ambiance, has potential for 100, but hasn't been exploited to the fullest. Mediocre service, with few smiles from the staff, as if the customers were bothering you. Planters with dead plants and vases full of cigarette butts. Clean bathroom, but the paper dispenser is broken and messy. Prices aren't exactly cheap, even for just an aperitif, and the selection isn't great. Bottom line: a place with a magnificent view, but one that, compared to the wide selection available in the upper town, doesn't really stand out!

13/06/2025: Sono stata ospite durante un festeggiamento per una ricorrenza quindi non posso valutare i prezzi ma rimane indubbio che la qualità non fosse di alto livello.. anzi. Pietanze di dubbio gusto, tipo il carpaccio di barbabietola come antipasto o la caesar salad con il salame. Porzioni molto risicate e un servizio a dir poco discutibile gestito da personale forse fin troppo giovane ed inesperto. Meglio scegliere altro.

05/06/2025: abbiamo preso pacchetto cena + spa : cena con ottimo antipasto, buono anche il primo (ravioli), dolce molto buono spa: pessima, temperatura acqua da aumentare, spogliatoi inesistenti, ci si cambia in una piccola area con altri ospiti, sia uomini e donne, docce con vetro trasparente, armadietti piccoli non torneremo alla Spa ma per una cena non lo escludiamo

09/10/2025: Be aware they take advantage of tourist here! Atmosphere is amazing, food was good, drink was fair, bill was ridiculously expensive but the real kicker was when time to go we asked them to get us a taxi and that’s when things got bad. Should be easy right, not with this place. A Maserati shows up not a taxi, thirty minutes late and they forced us to pay 160 Euros. A Uber was four minutes away and would have cost half that. We got hosed by a really fancy hotel concierge and his counterpart at the hostess stand!

14/03/2026: Went for lunch on a Saturday, not very busy, but waited almost an hour just to order for two people. The waiter was very rude and seemed annoyed by our presence. Prices were high for the product and service offered.

12/11/2025: Super expensive - and yes I should have asked before ordering. 29€ for two cocktails + 2 cokes. The 3.6 rating makes sense. … and no snacks. Next time - I’m doing the 5€ cocktails 🍹

27/10/2025: The only plus is the lake view, tea and coffee, but don't eat anything. Everything is mediocre, the food and service were all mediocre.

07/12/2025: Company dinner. Sparse room. Poor food. Raw risotto. Definitely well-prepared. Worth revisiting and trying on other occasions.

03/12/2025: The food was a bit disappointing, not quite up to par with the price. It's a shame because the location is beautiful.

24/02/2026: After a long and exhausting day, I arrived at the restaurant shortly after closing time. The door was already shut. I tried to open it and was just about to leave when the owner suddenly came out and kindly asked if I still wanted something to eat. I was the only guest in the entire restaurant. I was honestly speechless and very grateful that I was still served even though they were already closed. That kind of warmth and hospitality really touched me. You rarely experience something like this in Germany. Moments like this truly reflect what Italian hospitality is about. And the Risotto alla Milanese was absolutely outstanding. Creamy, perfectly seasoned, and on a completely different level in terms of flavor. You can immediately tell it’s made with passion.

11/02/2026: The owner of this restaurant is not friendly, and they charge more than the prices listed on the menu. I do not recommend this place. It is unpleasant and overpriced.

08/03/2026: Pretty much mass processing, especially on the terrace at Cathedral Square 👎 As long as the money keeps flowing...

07/03/2026: We discovered this restaurant almost by chance during a day spent at the mall, and the experience was truly positive. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant, perfect for a leisurely meal. The staff was efficient and very helpful, but a special mention goes to the owner, a Neapolitan like us, a truly friendly and courteous person. He was extremely attentive to our needs and accommodated every request. We were traveling with children, and as often happens, first they want something, then they change it, then maybe they don't want it anymore... but he was always patient, accommodating, and very affectionate with the little ones, making us feel truly at ease. The food was excellent, all top-quality and carefully prepared. Furthermore, at the end, we received a completely fair bill, proportionate to what we had ordered and eaten. In conclusion, it was a truly pleasant experience from every perspective: the welcome, the quality of the food, the kindness of the staff, and the final price. It's one of those places you'll want to return to and one we'd recommend without hesitation to anyone passing through.
