26/06/2025: We discovered this place through the fork, very satisfied with the experience. From the outside I wouldn't have said it, but inside everything was excellent. Really good dishes, particular combinations but with the right balance, noteworthy presentations. Very attentive and kind service. They delighted us with entrées and a very refreshing pre-dessert. Prices adequate for the quality and quantity. Portions right, not small at all. Normal internal location, some small details that could be improved but ok. I recommend it!

27/02/2026: No whole wheat pizza! Passing by with a friend for a quick pizza, we ordered two with whole wheat dough bases. Absolutely negative rating, presumably due to inadequate leavening, as the pizza is very compact. I should add that wherever we go, we always order whole wheat, so we feel we know this type of pizza well enough. February 2026, I'm updating my review. The pizza maker has probably changed; the pizza is excellent. I'd say the prices for dishes other than pizza are a little less excellent.

08/03/2026: We were recommended this pizzeria as a good choice for lunch in Bergamo. They were right. Traditional Italian food of good quality combined with very kind and pleasant service. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and quite attentive. The food is ideal I would say. It has a coperto of 3€ per person. Thank you very much for everything, we highly recommend it ❤️

15/03/2026: It's no longer the pizzeria it once was. The pizza had rubbery mozzarella and poor-quality anchovies. I mentioned this to the cashier, who was surprised and politely apologized for the pizza. What a shame, it was my favorite.

21/02/2026: We were the first customers on Friday night...a beautiful place architecturally, welcoming and warm. Super efficient and professional waiters. Really good pizza (thin and with fresh ingredients)...it's not the first time and it certainly won't be the last.

24/06/2025: Il locale è molto bello, curato, dentro e fuori, pulito e ben arredato. Ogni tanto io e il mio collega abbiamo cenato o pranzato, ci siamo trovati bene anche per la qualità e la varietà dei cibi. Però dopo ieri sera non credo che ci torneremo. Porzioni scarse: due antipasti, gnocchi alla romana fuori menù veramente miseri, due dolci ( che fatica seguire il modo in cui il cameriere lì elenca, glieli ho fatti ripetere tre volte), due calici di vino servito aperto, senza nemmeno assaggio. Il totale di 99 euro è stato veramente il colmo. Ho mangiato pesce di alta qualità in località marine di livello e non ho speso mai questa cifra. Mi dispiace, si può fare di più nelle porzioni, di meno nei prezzi e parlare un italiano comprensibile.

12/03/2026: I had the most delicious raw oysters of my life. There was a photo of seafood risotto in a review from six years ago, but it doesn't seem to be on the menu. They specially made it for me at a very reasonable price. They are kind and wonderful people.

16/03/2026: At Classico in Brescia, you dine within a well-constructed setting, crafted with intelligence and a certain flair for effect. In our case, a table for twelve in a room all to ourselves: a rare privilege, almost like a small private courtyard. It was also a passageway to other rooms, true, but one of those passageways that didn't disturb at all, quite the opposite. Let's just say the comings and goings contributed to the atmosphere with a significant visual appeal. Then comes the food, and there the place really raises the bar. That sort of caviar toast—let's call it that, even if the term does it less justice than it deserves—was remarkable: opulent, precise, just the right amount of brash. A bite designed to be memorable and, more importantly, capable of doing so. The steak was also excellent, enormous but not gross, cooked to perfection, with that confident handling that distinguishes a significant dish from a simple exercise of muscle. And yet, just when the scene seemed headed for an almost unanimous triumph, the downfall came. Not about wine, not about food, but about spirits. A friend of mine, who was in the car with me, drank six Negronis. Six. Now, a well-made Negroni isn't an evening herbal tea for delicate souls: it has its own structure, its own weight, its own alcoholic dignity. The fact that after six glasses he was more sober than I, who had drunk half a glass of champagne and more mineral water than in a spa treatment, raises a philosophical question even before it's an oenological one. I'm not questioning the elegance of his hand. I'm questioning his shyness. The bill, €1,800 for twelve, so €150 each, isn't robbery: it's a choice, and choices have their price. However, that faint feeling remains that the evening was very nice, the food excellent, the atmosphere successful, but the final price is estimated with a hint of enthusiasm more than what, upon leaving the place, one is willing to grant. In short, Classico is a beautiful, well-constructed place, with high-quality cuisine and a clear talent for creating atmosphere. However, places that aim high cannot afford to slip up in detail, because it's the details that decide whether the memory of a dinner remains bright or becomes slightly corrosive. I had a good time there, I ate very well, but not enough to avoid the final doubt: remarkable, yes; impeccable, no.
