Finding real substance on Corso Como is almost impossible these days; the area is saturated with commercial establishments and tourist traps. This restaurant, however, takes things to another level. Despite the ultra-modern and chaotic exterior, the atmosphere inside is beautiful and welcoming. The quality of the food is the real star here. We started with the Piedmontese antipasto and an incredible selection of Piedmontese cheeses, then moved on to a Barolo risotto with impeccable Castelmagno. The scottona rib-eye steak was cooked to perfection, an exceptional piece of meat. The wine cellar deserves a special mention; they have an endless selection of important labels; we chose a Nebbiolo that paired perfectly with our dinner. For the area, the prices are absolutely average but the quality is top-notch. If you're looking for a quiet evening where the focus is on substance and not just the facade, this is a must. I'll definitely be back.

The ribeye steak was delicious, weighing about 600g. I wanted a T-bone, but the waiter talked me out of it, saying it was too much for one person, weighing about 1kg. Thanks for that.

The restaurant is well located, and the staff were welcoming and polite. We ordered the 2 course meal, and chose the halloumi cheese with nuts & fruits, the risotto with red wine, the gnocchi with fava sauce and the veal with mashed potatoes. The halloumi was not warm, but the dish was a good combination of cantaloupe, nuts and some baby greens. The risotto with red wine was very delicious and I highly recommend. The gnocchi was bland and the fava sauce tasteless, which was a disappointment. The veal dish was soft, sauce was rich and tasty and the mashed potatoes were good. We were surprised when we received the bill, which included charges for cover and drinks, when the 2 course meal stated on the menu that cover and drinks were included. We asked the waiter why we were charged and they said the note on the menu says both are not included. If you read the words on the menu, it says "No Cover Charge and Drinks Included"......BEWARE.....they didn't apologize or remove these items from the bill, we were still charged. I have included a photo of the words here for everyone to evaluate for themselves. Just be warned that this is unethical and they should have removed these charges, or agreed to fix the error on the menu to avoid other guest's misunderstanding.

At Alla Cucina delle Langhe, my expectations were fully met. The risotto alla Milanese was the dish that struck me: creamy, perfectly blended, and with a rich, enveloping flavor, executed with great balance. The atmosphere is warm and familiar, yet refined and elegant, in keeping with the Corso Como style. The staff is attentive and professional, always present but never intrusive. You can sense a genuine care for the customer, putting them at ease without being overbearing. An authentic experience, yet with that touch of style you'd expect from Corso Como.
