03/10/2025: Every aspect of the evening was amazing. Our hosts took such good care of us and the food was extraordinary. We love Italian food. The from pasta Bolognese made perfectly to mussels in wine sauce and spaghetti vongole... Everything was great. But the crown was the special pasta with truffles made in a parmesan wheel. I've tried this dish at many restaurants, but now I understand why it is such a specialty. Dessert topped it off with tiramisu and a ricotta cake with chocolate sauce. Thank you for the wonderful evening!

30/10/2025: The place is a bit austere but pleasant. The food is excellent, and the service is very friendly and professional. I'll gladly return to try the other dishes.

19/10/2025: High-quality food prepared impeccably, friendly and professional staff, a location chosen by these fantastic guys who have tastefully revived it, and a wide and refined selection of natural wines. Don't be put off by the 10-minute drive from the center of Finale Ligure (a good stretch of which is on dirt road), once you've visited Valleponci, you'll understand it was worth it. We return AT LEAST once a year because we can't live without it.

09/10/2025: A beautiful and peaceful spot near the coast – easily accessible by car bike. The place has a wonderful authentic atmosphere, and we met some amazing people there. We only had the apero, but it was excellent. I was a bit surprised that olives weren’t included, but it seems to be common in all the places we visited.

11/11/2025: Dinner with friends to celebrate the summer holidays with a good pizza 🍕 and a toast with a good fresh beer 🍺 the pizza was very good, the service good and the prices are fair.

09/11/2025: There was hair in the salad, and all the vegetables were stale! The onions were rotten, the pizza was like play dough. The staff in the kitchen and in the dining room were constantly arguing. No wonder their food is so disgusting. I don't recommend it!

02/12/2025: We found this restaurant near our accommodation, the only one open that weekend at the end of November. We ate there two nights in a row. The pasta was very good, well prepared. The panna cotta and tiramisu were excellent. It's a shame the antipasti served as an aperitif weren't warmed up a bit; they would have been even tastier 😉 A place to recommend.

26/11/2025: The tuna steak was bland and unremarkable, the waiter didn't have much to do and kept wandering around us. All in all, a rather below-average experience…

27/10/2025: The trattoria excels in serving Ligurian cuisine in a context that tends toward standardization. In fact, the old town of Bordighera transforms into an outdoor restaurant on weekends, and the parking lot, although spacious upon arrival, feels like a stadium. Furthermore, the quality/price ratio is truly excellent.

26/10/2025: Very friendly welcome, unique place with great decor. Divine cuisine!!! The best raw fish ever, delicious fried fish, perfect trofie with pesto, and homemade gnocchi just like my grandmother made!!! Not to be missed!!!

31/10/2025: We ate there three times during our week-long camping holiday in Finale Ligure and were always very satisfied. The staff is friendly and the food arrives quite quickly. The desserts are also highly recommended. We will definitely go back. 👍

26/10/2025: A pleasant gourmet discovery! Strolling through the streets of the center, you come across this osteria, which is osteria only in name. The quality and presentation of the dishes are worthy of a high-end restaurant, desserts included. The tiramisu, even if you're not in Piedmont, is definitely worth trying.

11/10/2025: Fantastic Stay at Grand Hotel Portovenere! 🌊 I've just had the most magical 3-night stay at the Grand Hotel Portovenere, and I'm already dreaming of going back! This place is an absolute gem, set in a beautifully restored 17th-century convent right on the water's edge. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their kindness and passion for the region truly made our trip special. The food was a highlight every single day. Dining at the Palmaria Restaurant with its stunning panoramic terrace views was an experience in itself. The cuisine was innovative, fresh, and absolutely delicious—a perfect taste of Liguria! Waking up to the view of the colorful harbor and Palmaria Island from our balcony was unforgettable. The hotel's location is perfect, right in the heart of charming Portovenere and with the ferry to the Cinque Terre literally at your doorstep. If you're looking for a luxurious, romantic, and utterly satisfying escape, look no further. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

14/08/2025: An amazing vacation; calling it a hotel is an understatement given the many activities available thanks to the concierge's invaluable advice. We tried the sunset boat excursion with aperitif and an exclusive boat tour of the Cinque Terre. Needless to say, the location is fantastic for visiting the center and the famous church of San Pietro. Close to excellent restaurants, including the Grand Hotel's own: the Palmaria restaurant. The friendly, helpful staff helped make those days and our stay at the Grand Hotel itself a special memory...thanks again!

05/11/2025: Excellent pizza, but the equipment makes the difference and the owner is really kind and attentive... even if you can't book, they are worth the wait.

28/10/2025: I've been wanting to try it for a long time because I'm a fan of fine pizzas. What can I say? I expected something more. The ingredients in the pizza are high-quality and you can tell, but the dough lacks flavor and I found it a bit "rubbery." Overall, the pizza is okay, a 7/10, but not among my favorites. Their Pisacane beer is very good. Good service, friendly staff.

12/11/2025: The octopus in broccoli sauce was simply divine. The first courses were excellent, the service excellent, and the staff incredibly courteous and professional. I always return every time I visit Sanremo.

09/11/2025: A wonderful discovery in Ventimiglia! Ristorante La Caravella offers authentic and generous Italian cuisine, using fresh ingredients and perfectly executed recipes. The pasta is homemade, the fish cooked to perfection, and the desserts made on-site. Attentive service, a friendly atmosphere, and very reasonable prices for the quality. An excellent local spot that we always return to with pleasure!
