30/07/2025: Je me suis rendu dans ce restaurant avec ma famille. Nous avons commandé une pizza ainsi que 2 assiettes de pâtes avec une salade et une friture. Une serveuse blonde, très désagréable, nous regarde de haut en bas puis rigole lorsque qu'on demande d'enlever le jambon de la salade. Nous avons été servi en décalé, la pizza est arrivé super vite puis le reste des plats est arrivé 30 minutes après. J'avais commandé des pâtes à la sauce tomates, on m'a amené à 2 reprises des pâtes pesto. Je ne recommande pas ce restaurant. Personnel très désagréable, nourriture à revoir le goût n'étais pas au rendez vous.

27/07/2025: Expérience à ne pas renouveler. Nous pensions nous regaler en mangeant italien ( large choix de plats et pizza) mais on aurait dû s abstenir de déjeuner dans cette cantine avec terrasse couverte : les pizzas sont très grasses mais les pâtes à la carbo sont bonnes ! Heureusement que le service est rapide.

27/06/2025: A local recommended it to us, and we're glad he did. The food was spectacular, the service impeccable, and especially the attentiveness of a woman who seemed to be the owner, who guided us through the experience. I hope to return soon.

21/06/2025: We came back after a lovely first experience, hoping for another great meal—but unfortunately, this time was a letdown. Things started off okay, but there was a mistake with our primi course. We politely asked for what we had originally ordered, and while it was eventually brought out, the dish wasn’t prepared well—it just didn’t taste right. To make matters worse, the service felt cold. The corrected dish was brought out with no smile or acknowledgment, and overall we felt like we were an inconvenience rather than welcome guests. It’s a shame, because we had high hopes based on our first visit, but this experience really changed our impression.

12/07/2025: Polite and helpful staff but the food wasn't appreciated at least by me as the truffle cream wasn't originally made there.

05/08/2025: Tasty tasty pizza in a cozy alleyway. Prices are cheap and the owner is a lovely chap. He didn’t speak english at all but we worked it out just fine. Highly recommend!

04/08/2025: A cozy, authentic pizzeria. A pleasant atmosphere and friendly service in a beautiful location. The owner is a friendly Italian man who makes everything himself (by himself!). Superb pizzas. Highly recommended! The wine is also fantastic, and the owner probably sources it from his own cellar every time! Limited seating... for the lucky ones.

28/07/2025: Excellent mixed fried fish! Crispy and not greasy. Adequate portions. Price is fair.

11/07/2025: Here's a possible review: "My experience at La Medusa was disappointing. The service was good, the staff was friendly and attentive, but the quality of the food was unfortunately poor. Despite its central location, the food didn't live up to expectations. Above all, I found the restaurant to be very touristy, and the dishes offered were geared more toward satisfying foreign visitors than representing authentic Ligurian cuisine. The authentic flavors of the region are absent, and the dishes seem to have been created more to attract tourists than to offer a true gastronomic experience. Furthermore, the prices are excessively high and not justified by the quality of the food. Overall, I don't recommend going to La Medusa if you're looking for an authentic, quality culinary experience. It's better to look for more authentic, less touristy alternatives."

11/07/2025: I'm delighted to return to this restaurant, and every time it feels like home. The dishes are prepared with love and tradition: you can taste all the authentic flavor of Italian cuisine, made with genuine ingredients and a lot of passion. The service is welcoming and familiar, and you can immediately sense the care and attention they give to their customers. It's one of those places where you don't just go to eat well, but also to feel good. I recommend everyone to come here, even just once: it will be hard not to want to return! 27/05/2025: Quiet place, far from the usual chaos, very nice and welcoming and very warm and professional staff, the food nothing to say, I took the "zuccotta" spectacular pizza to say the least, very delicate light and tasty, truly spectacular I would have taken another 10. Congratulations really, if I could have left 10 stars I would have certainly done so.

16/07/2025: You might think of a trattoria as a place to eat and feel good, with homemade food and generous portions... This trattoria was supposed to be a 5-star Michelin restaurant, with no menu, just a QR code. The menu was truly meager... Portions small enough for children, everything very salty. Inside, it was incredibly hot. No carafe wines, everything bottled, and everything was overpriced, in my opinion, for a trattoria. The waiter was a bit rude; he seemed to be bothering us, and he complained that we asked for different dishes; he wished we'd all asked for the same thing. In the end, we all left feeling very disappointed. Believe me, in an area like Sotto Ripa, you get the same dishes for half the price.

07/07/2025: Quite underwhelming experience. While it look cute from the outside and we already know Italian waiters are a bit more rude and less service oriented so we didn’t mind in the beginning we were disappointed with the food being quite flavorless. To top it all the toilet seemed broken and we had to pay 6€ extra just for sharing a plate and another 6€ service charge which feels outrageous to me - be happy we eat at your restaurant to begin with. While we had high hopes it was a very sad experience and we wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here

27/06/2025: We were a group of 8 people at this restaurant and it was an unpleasant experience for us. The only thing that was ok was the service, otherwise the food was below average for the demands and the cost of the preparations and what culminated in completely ruining our evening was the attitude of the owner. In short, we ordered a wine that they told us they no longer had but he recommended another one, a bottle was brought to us, he gave us to taste, the wine was sour and oxidized, unbelievable, we asked for something else and he told us that it was not possible, the wine is very good, he tasted it, so we have to pay for it. We ordered another one, we paid for the spoiled one and gave it to him as a gift to drink. An execrable experience, I have never encountered anywhere else. If you don't want to ruin a holiday evening, don't go there!

13/07/2025: We discovered this little osteria by chance. Even though it wasn't on the menu, we had a classic pesto pasta and a spectacular boneless rabbit! Highly recommended!

13/07/2025: 4 primi 4 secondi e 4 dolci... una scelta che reputo super vincente. Poche cose ma fatte come Dio comanda! Ricerca della materia prima di qualità e cucina semplice ma creativa. 110 e lode!

06/08/2025: Purtroppo mi associo alle tante recensioni in merito al trattamento diversificato.. Senza alcun preavviso o specifica.. Chiudo negozio stagionale.. Andiamo in due a pranzo.. Chiediamo menù della casa e ci viene proposto la lista a voce senza alcuna specifica di prezzo ... Deduciamo che si tratta del menù lavoro del cartello a caratteri cubitali a 14 euro... Nessuna osservazione fatta durante il servizio visto il costo... Al momento di pagare... Totale per due primi due secondi con contorno e due caffè..52 euro . Ma facciamo 50.... Ok ma il pranzo di lavoro? Solo per operaio in tuta da lavoro che vengono sempre!......??? Ragazzi... Non lamentatevi se le cose non vanno bene .. Raccogliete quello che seminate!

26/07/2025: Rustic trattoria atmosphere, fast and friendly service, excellent food. I had a trio of pasta dishes: pappardelle with hare sauce, agnolotti with ragù, spaghetti with pesto, and stuffed mussels. Everything was excellent: rustic, simple, and tasty.

07/06/2025: Very well-located hotel. The room is a bit outdated; the bathroom needs updating, as the sink is broken. It's a shame! A bonus is the total peace and quiet and the cool night air for a good night's sleep. Beautiful view of Apricale.

25/05/2025: Don't be put off by a bit of carelessness when you arrive, come in and you will find yourself in a place a bit from another time like a restaurant that you don't find anymore without frills but with a lot of substance, sit at a table near the window overlooking a beautiful view and then with the arrival of the dishes you will realize that you have not made a mistake in the place. The first courses were very good, the grilled meat was delicious with vegetables and then ..... the arrival of the hot zabaglione in a copper pot in industrial quantities. Everything was excellent, great availability and professionalism of the staff, the only flaw if I may say so, but this is subjective, the dishes were too abundant for me who usually only order half portions but here I couldn't hold back
