13/11/2025: Very Disappointing Experience PLEASE AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS. I had one of the worst dining experiences at Il Grottino in Cinque Terre. The staff were extremely rude, unwelcoming, and lacked even basic hospitality. The seafood didn’t taste fresh at all — far from what you would expect in a seaside town. Overall, it was a complete disappointment. I would definitely never come back and strongly advise others to avoid this place at all times. There are so many better and friendlier options nearby. Check out the owner’s reply to get to know how rude this people is 👇🏻 and by the way all other table that were occupied at that very moment was also group of my friend, and by the way without us, the restaurant was basically empty 😆

11/09/2025: This was honestly one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Me and 3 friends went and had a absolute feast. We had starters, mains with sides that came as a deal package and desert. I personally had mozzarella croquettes, spaghetti carabonara with steak & rocket as a side with ice cream for deserted and every bit of food couldn't be better. The photos on here dont do this place justice, half the food we ordered wasn't evem on the menu and it was still extremely tasty. Also all the food is so well priced. It was €8 for their house white wine and €15 for the main with a side which i would have paid €30 for anywhere else easily. For ordering so much the very very friendly service staff gave us a bottle of lemon cello on the house. I recommend anyone ever seeing this, go in and get anything, you wont regret it. Will be coming back.

02/11/2025: Excellent food and a stunning view, a discovery above La Spezia that we'll definitely be back for. It doesn't offer a wide selection of dishes, but that's the key to good food: stuffed mussels and skewers are phenomenal. Highly recommended!

01/09/2025: Very good pizza, very casual place, average service. The only flaw was that we waited a long time for our pizza (though it must be said that the owner had warned us that the service would take a long time). Regardless of the wait, I recommend the place because the pizza is worth it.

15/11/2025: We ate very well... three starters (don't miss the brandacujon), a first course, a second course with side dish, and two desserts... friendly service... the room was a little bare but essential... if I were to find myself in that area again, I would return with my eyes closed.

26/10/2025: Excellent lunch with a wonderful view of Bogliasco. The place is quite minimalist, but the dishes are truly exquisite, especially the fantastic brandacujun. Extremely reasonable prices, generous portions, and attentive and fairly fast service.

16/10/2025: I returned to this restaurant after having been there with a Genoese friend. It is located in the central area but a little out of the way, it is really worth reaching it.

10/06/2025: Very quiet place located in the historic alleys of Genoa, we ordered a cup of fried food and it was really good, it wasn't greasy at all and the batter was perfectly crispy, pansotti and trofie were truly exceptional. The waitress was really kind, a place where you feel at home. Normal prices, we didn't spend much.

27/11/2025: Very average and almost tasteless pizza, we were really disappointed. We even told owners but they seemed quite uninterested and simply said, “well, I guess we won’t be seeing you again!” Very odd response. 9euro cover charge (for 3 people!) for a soggy piece of focaccia.
