15/03/2026: A typical restaurant that reflects Genoese tradition. It's a 10-minute walk from the old port and convenient to the historic center. The owner welcomed us and served us well; he also speaks excellent English. The food is excellent and they have a good wine selection. Recommended. I also recommend making a reservation.

28/12/2025: Trattoria with "homemade" cuisine. Tourist alert. The food was low quality for the price. Don't be fooled by the display; the fish wasn't as fresh as they would have you believe. All served with typical warm Genoese hospitality. Update: We were sick during the night.

20/09/2025: It really deserves 6 stars! The concept is absolutely extraordinary – in the best possible way! There's a surprise menu, where you choose your preference (meat or fish +/- vegetarian) in advance, and the chef then shops specifically for that. Some of the ingredients come fresh from the garden. The food was simply perfect in every aspect (freshness, taste, presentation, quantity, etc.). You can feel the hosts' joy and high standards. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The location is a bit off the beaten path and very stylish. We had the perfect menu, including dessert and digestif, and an unforgettable evening! Grazie mille e arrivederci!

05/01/2026: We'd like to share our pleasant experience at lunch here today. We found the atmosphere comfortable and the staff very friendly, who made us feel at ease and explained the local dishes, which we found excellent, from the trio of anchovies appetizer (delicious) to the seafood spaghetti and the wonderful pandolce. We'll definitely be back!

12/03/2026: We had dinner on Sunday evening....good appetizers....Catalan served in an unsuitable soup plate.....also....2 partners...one helpful and kind....the other would have been better off staying at home.....unfortunately not recommended

28/02/2026: The door of Osteria del Bai opens onto an intimate and refined setting. A hint of the soul of those who have passed through remains in the air. It is said that Garibaldi drank his last drink here before leaving for the Expedition of the Thousand. And today, on the bathroom door, cork plaques continue to nail the signatures of the illustrious faces of the present who pass through. The dishes arrive in sequence and tell the story of the sea without repeating themselves. Some are bold, others are already preceded by their fame - like Blu del Bai. 22/02/2026: OSTERIA DEL BAI A historic restaurant, Osteria del Bai, a warm, welcoming, and different place...beautiful! The restaurant is housed in an ancient tower built to guard against Saracen raids. The tables arranged along the thick walls where the cannons once stood to defend the place create a unique and unforgettable atmosphere. Ancient revolutionaries like Garibaldi and popes have passed through here...there's plenty of history. Attached to the tower, a glass-walled room provides natural light and a pleasant sea view. The red tuna tartare with hazelnuts is unique. The cappon magro, the linguine with scallops, garlic, oil, and chili pepper, baby squid with turnip greens, paired with a fantastic "bolla" (a typical Ligurian dish), an excellent Ligurian Vermentino, followed by a "tiramiago" soaked in hot coffee, and finally a glass of Amarone grappa, make the experience something we'll definitely be repeating. Congratulations, Agostino. We'll be back. Highly recommended.

03/01/2026: Excellent pizza, great food, fast service, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. We ate there every night during our three-day stay in Fossombrone (an interesting and quiet town).

26/12/2025: Beautiful location, it really looks like a stone cave... but even more interesting is the attention to the customer of the staff... and what about the food... I tasted a super tagliata that melted in the mouth... nice portions... excellent presentation... we will also try the dessert which we were very tempted by... another time. well done well done

21/03/2026: A place that focuses heavily on aesthetics, less on substance. The atmosphere is more reminiscent of a lounge bar, with green lights and vodka brand signs creating atmosphere, but it's hardly consistent with a seafood restaurant. The problem is that, once the "scene" is over, the food remains average: nothing particularly memorable, either in quality or execution. Prices, however, are significantly above expectations for what's served. In short, you pay more for the setting than the content. The staff, on the other hand, are super friendly and helpful.

06/03/2026: We chose the meat menu, and only two of the four dishes listed on the menu arrived; one arrived upon request, while the other never arrived at all. The dishes that did arrive weren't particularly appetizing, especially the cold and tough roast. I don't recommend it.

We were blown away on our very first visit – the food is divine, every single dish prepared with such love and finesse that you'll never want to eat anywhere else. The atmosphere is simply dreamy: candlelight, white tablecloths, soft music, and in summer, dinner under the fig tree – it couldn't be more romantic. The staff is exceptionally warm and attentive without being intrusive. You immediately feel welcome and cared for. A particularly lovely touch: the daily changing menu is lovingly handwritten, and the hosts are happy to help with the translation and selection. A truly soulful restaurant that you'll never forget. We'll definitely be back – and we'll bring friends! Grazie mille
