13/08/2025: It feels more like a chain than a restaurant. The welcome was cold, and there was no smile when ordering. A three-euro surcharge for ham, and only two tiny pieces on the pizza. I ordered pizzas to go to eat on the beach and asked for them to be cut into pieces: my request was ignored. Disappointing.
12/08/2025: A good (and fairly affordable) pizza spot between the center and the Sanremo waterfront! Despite the crowds, orders and dishes arrived quickly.

04/08/2025: At this restaurant-pizzeria in the heart of Albenga, your appetite allows your soul to wander through a labyrinth that leads to the typical alleys of the Roman village.
The usual languor that a morning spent at the seaside induces is quickly assuaged here by the exquisite dishes, from mixed fried fish to pizzas, from the cheerfulness of wine to the exuberance of beer.
Furthermore, the impeccability and kindness of the staff serve as the perfect backdrop to this enchanting painting in Albenga's great open-air museum.
In short, a great amphora to preserve a warmth that is refreshing even in the height of summer.
20/07/2025: Poor quality experience both with food and service. Tables were left messy, they “lost”‘our order due to “wifi problems” when the food arrived after a long wait - poor quality and not good value. Disappointing.

28/07/2025: Tipico locale datato sul lungomare chiavarese.
Cibo nella norma ma non lineare nel rapporto qualità - prezzo.
Inadeguatezza e totale mancanza di forma da parte del personale nell’invitare il cliente ed alzarsi ed uscire dal locale per un piccolo cane da compagnia che per felicita’ aveva dato qualche colpo di abbaio.
Invito la proprietà ad esibire all esterno il simbolo di ‘non si accettano cani’ anziché far accomodare fuori la clientela una volta seduti al tavolo.
Da professionista, mai stato trattato così.
Non posso consigliare.

14/08/2025: A very, very good restaurant! We started with an eggplant and shrimp fritter appetizer, then enjoyed seafood pasta and a tuna pizza. Finally, a tiramisu: everything was truly delicious. Very pleasant service and a friendly setting. I highly recommend it.

19/07/2025: We spent a great week in the hotel lamberti. The bed was very very comfortable and the people are really friendly and welcoming. We had a superior double room on the 4th floor with a small balcony and even view of the sea.
24/06/2025: We returned for the second time to this hotel in Alassio, in an excellent location very convenient to the sea. To underline the possibility of bringing small dogs and the extreme kindness of all the staff. We found excellent cuisine, in half board where both breakfast and dinner were prepared with care and attention. We will definitely return very soon!!

14/07/2025: Situato in una stradina parallela al budello principale di Cogoleto questo ristorante, dall’esterno, non vi colpirà particolarmente con insegne luminescenti o cartelli pubblicitari ma, appena entrati, vi sentirete un po’ come a casa vostra. Non posso non partire dalla signora Ada, la vera storia di questo locale. Ci accoglie come fossimo degli abituè, amici di famiglia, vicini di casa. Ed è proprio così che ci si sente dopo qualche minuto passato insieme. La spiegazione dettagliata del menù non è la solita tiritera di piatti, ingredienti o elenco di materie prime … ogni piatto ci viene descritto insieme alla sua storia, i suoi aneddoti, la ricetta, il modo di come la signora Ada (o semplicemente Ada come lei vuole essere chiamata) lo cucina a casa sua. Questa accoglienza, così diversa da qualsiasi posto che ho frequentato in tutti questi anni, mi ha fatto innamorare di questo posto prima ancora di assaggiare una qualsiasi pietanza e ho già, sorprendentemente, l’acquolina in bocca.
Siamo in quattro e ognuno di noi prende uno starter diverso. Il guazzetto di muscoli (cozze per i non Liguri), il Cenonno composto da una serie di piattini con assaggi mare e monti, caldi o freddi, polpo e patate, mentre io scelgo il piatto che avevo già visto sul loro sito web: code di gamberi avvolti nel lardo d’Arnad con stracciatella di burrata, semplicemente spaziali, cotti alla perfezione, con materie prime di altissima qualità, sono entrati di prepotenza nella mia personalissima top 10 di piatti più buoni mangiati nella mia vita !
Qui Ada, ci grazia della ricetta “casalinga” di questo piatto, semplicissima, rapidissima ma con ingredienti che devono essere necessariamente di ottima qualità !
Proseguiamo questa esperienza culinaria eccezionale, con i ravioli di burrata con pomodorini, basilico e acciughe di Cetara, delicatissimi, preparati alla perfezione e cotti al dente come piacciono a me.
Finiamo con la “Tavolozza di dolci” tutti provenienti dalla Campania e Sicilia, uno più buono dell’altro. Io però ho scelto la delizia al limone tutta per me e ho fatto bene in quanto era veramente troppo golosa per condividerla con qualcuno.
Di una cosa sono convinto adesso, il ristorante Nonno Cuoco è sicuramente la mia prima scelta a Cogoleto.
13/07/2025: Located on a narrow street parallel to the main street of Cogoleto, this restaurant may not particularly impress you from the outside with its neon signs or advertising, but as soon as you enter, you'll feel a little at home. I can't help but start with Signora Ada, the true story of this place. She welcomes us as if we were regulars, family friends, neighbors. And that's exactly how you feel after spending a few minutes together. The detailed explanation of the menu isn't the usual rigmarole of dishes, ingredients, or a list of raw materials... each dish is described to us along with its history, its anecdotes, the recipe, and the way Signora Ada (or simply Ada, as she prefers to be called) cooks it at home. This welcome, so different from any other place I've frequented in all these years, made me fall in love with this place before even tasting a single dish, and my mouth is already, surprisingly, watering.
There are four of us, and we each choose a different starter. The mussel stew (mussels for non-Ligurians), the Cenonno, a series of small plates with hot and cold seafood and mountain appetizers, octopus, and potatoes, while I chose the dish I'd already seen on their website: shrimp tails wrapped in Arnad lard with burrata stracciatella. Simply out of this world, cooked to perfection, with the highest-quality ingredients, it's now firmly in my personal top 10 of the best dishes I've ever eaten!
Ada, please share the "homemade" recipe for this dish—very simple, very quick, but with ingredients that must be top-quality!
We continue this exceptional culinary experience with burrata ravioli with cherry tomatoes, basil, and Cetara anchovies—delicate, perfectly prepared, and cooked al dente, just the way I like them.
We finish with the "Palette of Desserts," all sourced from Campania and Sicily, each one better than the last. I, however, chose the lemon delight all for myself, and I was right to do so, as it was truly too delicious to share.
One thing I'm now convinced of: Nonno Cuoco is definitely my first choice in Cogoleto.

The freshest grilled fish is top notch...but the calamari in a stew is truly exceptional. The service is attentive and knowledgeable. The wine served in a carafe is also good. The only downside is that we weren't shown the wine list.
Highly recommended if you want to
eat quality ingredients.

05/08/2025: We wanted to try this cult place in Sanremo, but our expectations were dashed at the checkout. There's absolutely nothing to say about the place because it's truly on another level. We knew roughly what we were getting, but we certainly didn't understand why...if we only had a bottle of wine...at the end of the bill, we paid 13 euros more than the price of the bottle. Was it the cover charge? Was it the fruit brought to us without asking for it at the table? We thought it was free, since we hadn't asked for it and had only eaten the nachos that came with the bottle. We were quite disappointed because we found no transparency as to why and because nothing was specified on the receipt. Only the total. We didn't lose out on 13 euros and we left it at that.
05/08/2025: Very professional welcome, a smiling team that takes great care of you, a very clean place, the food was great! I highly recommend this place for families! Couples! Or even with friends, it's warm and cozy!

15/07/2025: Abbiamo cenato da loro in 8 persone venerdì scorso ed era tutto buonissimo, per cui abbiamo deciso di andare nuovamente là sera successiva.. una delusione, sembrava avessero cambiato gestione in 24 ore, il giorno prima avevo preso una grigliata di pesce ed era buonissima ed abbondante l, il giorno seguente era misera, pezzi piccoli, mancava il calamaro e il branzino puzzava.. non capisco come possa succedere una cosa del genere.. delusa
15/07/2025: ristorante vicino al mare, atmosfera magnifica, abbiamo mangiato benissimo, polpo alla griglia e bistecca media cottura. Lo consiglio anche per la gentilezza e disponibilità del personale e del titolare!

24/07/2025: With family and friends, we have been frequent visitors to this restaurant for years, and I have no hesitation in describing it as exceptional in every way.
I'll start with the convenience of the parking lot behind the Goso Pharmacy. From there, through a small tunnel under the railway, you can reach the restaurant in three minutes.
The interior is elegant, and the view of the sea and toward France and Monaco is one of the most beautiful on this part of the coast.
You'll only hear the sea because the street the restaurant faces is pedestrianized, with a very quiet cycle path.
The restaurant, managed and run by the family, led by Luca Biamonti (his wife Katia and son Kevin—his pastries are exquisite—at the helm with him at the service) has had several culinary experiences, all excellent, the latest of which is ideal for those who love Mediterranean cuisine in general and Ligurian cuisine in particular.
Luca is a wine lover; He will be able to recommend the best Italian wines at affordable prices, right up to the very finest vintages from his cellar.
Let's move on to the spoiled choice of dishes, from appetizers to pasta, fish, and meat. I've already mentioned desserts.
If you like raw fish, the main course is exceptional, as are the mini cuttlefish in sauce, to name just two starters.
The pasta is a symphony, and the choice is difficult between spaghetti with sea urchins, clams, shrimp, etc., with sauces that are refined in their lightness.
Fresh fish is king here, in various variations, from salt-crusted, baked, or in sauces that enhance the flavor without overpowering it.
Enjoy your discovery, and you won't be disappointed.

10/08/2025: We spontaneously discovered the La Goletta restaurant while strolling through Rapallo – it immediately looked inviting. After glancing at the menu outside, we immediately wanted to eat there. The restaurant was busy, but we were lucky enough to snag a table outside.
For our starter, we chose Impepata di cozze – the mussels were fresh, spicy, and delicious – and a small portion of Italian olives.
My husband chose Orata alla ligure con patate, capperi e olives for our main course. The fish was succulent, fresh, and perfectly prepared – he loved it.
I chose Spaghetti alla carbonara con tartufo uncinato. Since I don't eat pork, I asked the friendly waiter if the dish could be made without meat – no problem at all! The pasta was delicious, the truffle flavor subtle but harmonious.
The atmosphere was relaxed and cozy, and the staff were always attentive and polite, despite the full house.
Conclusion: A charming restaurant with delicious food, friendly service, and a feel-good atmosphere – highly recommended!
