13/01/2026: Dishes that are anything but predictable, featuring exceptional ingredients, and courteous and competent service. Truly an osteria like few others.
02/01/2026: A restaurant nestled among the narrow streets of Vallerano's historic center.
A jewel of a place, both rustic and elegant.
We were immediately greeted by Chef Riccardo's rare kindness.
Discreetly accompanied by soft background music, the dishes were chosen with perfect accuracy, even considering some personal concerns regarding certain ingredients.
Sublime first courses: lombrichelli carbonara, whole wheat fettuccine with sausage and pecorino ragù, and artichoke alla giudia—never tasted so good.
Finally, a revisited Mont Blanc, moving in its deliciousness.
Service and value for money are unmatched.
Anyone who finds themselves in the area (those who have already been know this) shouldn't miss this opportunity.
An unforgettable evening.
We'll be back as soon as possible.

26/12/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, but it's worth returning. Warm welcome, a cozy and pleasant atmosphere, and excellent background music. Delicious food, well-cooked, and generous portions. The quality of the ingredients is excellent and refined. How wonderful to find these places in Italian villages, where, unfortunately, it's not always easy to find quality at the right price these days. The price is perhaps slightly higher than average, but it's definitely worth it.

23/11/2025: Delicious, fresh, and high-quality. I've never eaten such good cod fillets. Two of us went there at the end of September and brought ten other people. I hope they each bring ten. Mr. Pierluigi is a kind and friendly person. Thank you so much.

17/05/2025: Palazzo Ranucci was a pleasant discovery, a magical place with a breathtaking view, and without a doubt, the terrace offers the most beautiful panorama in all of Tuscia! The cuisine is excellent, and Elisa's welcome was truly a plus. Before leaving, we had the pleasure of meeting the venue's manager, Mr. Maurizio, a delightful and elegant person, who helped us experience the true soul of this historic building.
Recommended for anyone seeking a unique, original, yet traditional experience rooted in the authentic values of life.

06/01/2026: I went to this restaurant for a birthday, I ordered fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and I found a surprise: the plate was full of worms, we immediately notified the waitress who reported it to the kitchen and in the end they neither apologized nor offered me anything else to eat, also I ordered coffee and even the teaspoon was dirty, I hope it was just an oversight.
03/12/2025: The tranquility of winter, coupled with the perfect weather today, was breathtaking. Waking up to a misty, ethereal landscape was captivating. The calls of waterbirds added a touch of life. After sunrise, the water and sky merged seamlessly, reflecting everything on the lake. This is just a photo taken with a regular phone – a true paradise on earth! The cake the owner baked for us had a flavor I'd never tasted in China before. The sweetness was just right, not cloying, with a hint of citrus. At that moment, I didn't want any other flavor to overpower it. A true gem!

17/01/2026: WE WON'T MISS YOU. THAT'S THE DOOR (quote from the monastery staff or owner) I wonder, in 2026, is it possible to treat customers this way? Just for asking for clarification on a reservation at a table that had been given to someone else before the 15-20 minute wait we were told. I certainly wasn't expecting such English APLOMB, but I wasn't expecting such disarming RUDENESS either.
16/01/2026: We went to this pizzeria and they told us a table would be available in 15-20 minutes. In the meantime, we went for a walk and returned after 15 minutes, as they had promised. BUT the table was no longer available; they had given it to someone else even though we had left our name. We politely pointed out that the waitress had told us to wait 15-20 minutes and that it wasn't fair to give up our table. Their rude and ignorant response was, "THAT'S THE DOOR." If you want to eat at a table with rude people, this is the right place for you.

04/10/2025: For lunch at work, we ordered a pasta dish here, specifically the lombrichelli alla viterbese. A choice that not only brightened up the meal, but also gave us a boost for the rest of the day.
The portion is very generous: the fresh pasta has a rustic, full-bodied texture, capable of absorbing the rich sauce of sausage and guanciale, perfectly bound by the tomato base that enhances the ingredients. The pecorino and fennel add a bold note that completes a dish that speaks of Tuscia.
Truly a culinary experience worth repeating to try other delicacies.

02/12/2025: We just had lunch here during a business trip: a beautiful location surrounded by greenery and a well-kept facility, the food is truly excellent. The pork fillet cooked in Sangiovese is sublime! The ravioli with fresh walnuts are excellent. The portions are not large because this is a cuisine where you enjoy yourself. Not suitable for those looking for a budget price and generous dishes. The large fireplace in the dining room is welcoming and enveloping. Truly everything is perfect.
