15/02/2026: I stayed and dined at this hotel and I must say I was very satisfied: the atmosphere was well-kept and clean, my room was equipped with every comfort, and I had a beautiful lake view. The owners were polite and welcoming. An experience I absolutely must repeat.

03/04/2026: One of the worst meals I've ever had. My entrée was the raddichio salad which was an uninspired overly large dish with full pieces of walnut (not able to break them down a bit...) which made it awkward to eat. The tagliatelle dish had water at the bottom, with an overcooked pork ragu and beans. Absolutely tasteless, bland without any flavors whatsoever. I can make a better pasta dish than this. The bread felt like it was from two days ago and so hard that it was like a brick hitting my stomach. After that, I did not bother getting a desert. Worst of all this restaurant was recommended by my hotel 🤔

25/03/2026: There's no better way to end a visit to Tuscania than with dinner on Via Torre di Lavello. After a stroll in the adjacent park, stopping at the restaurant of the same name allows you to enjoy a unique atmosphere. The food is refined, with traditional dishes like wild boar cacciatora and appetizers featuring rich local ingredients. The staff was extremely kind, even to our four-legged friends, promptly bringing water. Sitting at the outdoor tables with a view of the medieval tower in the background makes everything even more evocative. A five-star experience I recommend to everyone.

03/05/2026: The restaurant was recommended to us during a coffee break at a café near the lake: it was absolutely spot on. The atmosphere, decorated in shades of blue, white, and brown, exudes a unique sense of tranquility, aided by soft background music at just the right volume for pleasant conversation. The staff are the real asset: courteous, highly knowledgeable, fast, and always available. The food is excellent, with an honorable mention for the pasta, clearly homemade and exceptionally delicious. An impeccable experience in every way.

04/04/2026: Superb restaurant! Excellent seafood, high quality. Fairly priced. Intimate and elegant atmosphere, in the historic center of Viterbo. Must try the tuna and the pear in wine for dessert. Fantastic.

20/03/2026: An excellent experience in every way. The service was excellent: attentive, friendly, and always available. The food was truly high-quality, with carefully crafted dishes and authentic flavors. In particular, the gnocchi with clams and bottarga were simply exceptional, perfectly balanced and rich in flavor. The tuna also stood out for its freshness and superior quality. Definitely a place to recommend and return to.

04/05/2026: I'm sad to write this review. The restaurant had been highly recommended to me by friends who frequent it often, and I must say the location is beautiful: it feels like eating by the lake. Unfortunately, at least in our experience, the service left much to be desired. I brought my mother, a recent widow, along with her caregiver to give her a peaceful day away from home. We had reservations and arrived at 1:35 PM. The table wasn't in the best location, but given the influx of people, it was manageable, although other better-placed tables remained free the entire time. The main problem, however, was the service: we had to push for every stage of the meal because we seemed completely ignored. From ordering to main course, every request required an interminable wait. At 3:20 PM, the situation became truly frustrating: the table hadn't yet been cleared, while a couple of tables who arrived after us had already finished dessert. At that point, I went to the cashier to ask for at least a coffee for my mother and the bill. The owner's response was that "only 80 minutes had passed since we ordered," which I found disrespectful given the situation. I don't know what criteria they use to treat customers, but it's hard not to feel like we're being treated with little attention. We left disappointed, annoyed, and without even an apology, actually feeling like we were being looked at with annoyance. A real shame, because the place is worth it, and I would have gladly returned! We were your guests the day before, but thank you for your attention! 31/03/2026: I've been there a few times in the past years, this time the food significantly improved. The antipasti was special, the pizza was among the best I've had and the desserts were great. Staff is very friendly, prices are a bit on the higher range for the region but still fine. recommended
