06/09/2025: Last night, on our way back from a trip to Lake Bolsena, we stopped in Farnese and had dinner at this trattoria. Excellent food and welcoming staff. We'll definitely be back. The soup you mentioned and the cacio e pepe risotto were delicious.

14/09/2025: Located in the center of Viterbo, the pizzeria has a very welcoming and traditional interior and an outdoor area. Typical Roman pizza, "double" with the option of multiple toppings. Good and thin. The menu isn't very varied (e.g., no fried foods). It may have been a coincidence (Saturday evening + Pink Night), but the wait for a table for two was 1 hour and 30 minutes.

16/08/2025: Compared to last year, I didn't find the same quality of food. The table service and restaurant were excellent. The fish and battered dishes were frozen, and the meat was awful.

16/08/2025: I came to spend a relaxing day on the complex's beautiful beach. A pious illusion, since all day I had to endure loud music coming from your picnic area, where a horde of thugs were present, doing whatever they wanted, without anyone intervening to point out these gentlemen, who might be bothering those who had come to rest. Perhaps it would be appropriate to regulate your guests' noise levels and encourage them to use the common areas civilly, perhaps by removing anyone who displays questionable behavior. A vain hope?

27/09/2025: We visited the restaurant for lunch right when it opened and were initially alone, but were asked for our reservation. We didn't have one, but we still got a great table. The place quickly filled up, so a reservation might be necessary if you're planning on having more than two people. The food arrived quickly and was excellent all around! For 2.5 people, we paid €45 for these dishes and water. It was completely reasonable for us. Definitely a recommendation, just for the view.

23/08/2025: It's always a shame for me to leave a negative review, especially when the location is truly delightful: small but meticulously maintained and with a pleasant atmosphere. For this very reason, I believe constructive criticism can help both the owners, helping them grow and improve, and future customers, helping them have a more satisfying experience. During our dinner, however, several inconveniences arose that I must point out. As soon as we sat down, we found the placemat dirty, likely not replaced after the previous service. A detail that alone wouldn't have ruined the evening, but unfortunately it was the first in a series of oversights. We ordered a first course to share and two second courses. Unfortunately, the tagliatelle with lamb ragù was so salty that it was difficult to enjoy. The wild boar meatballs, however, arrived cold and partly burned. Finally, the sliced ​​beef: we weren't asked how it was cooked, and, without a proper knife for serving, we were faced with overcooked, very salty, and difficult to cut meat. A real shame, especially since the prices were decidedly high compared to the actual quality of what we were served. I sincerely hope these observations are helpful: the location has potential, but the cuisine and service deserve more attention to live up to expectations.

17/08/2025: I dined at the inn's restaurant on the evening of my birthday. I'd seen the place by chance, strolling through Tuscania one afternoon, and I have to say it was a truly perfect choice. The place is small and very intimate, with a beautiful view of the church of San Pietro illuminated at night. The food was excellent. It's refined, not ordinary, and very carefully prepared. Everything was beautifully presented and very tasty. You can tell they're making things with love. The young man who served us was wonderful. Super kind, very, very nice, not intrusive, and above all, very young. The owner was friendly and attentive to detail. Overall, a place I recommend if you're passing through Tuscania or if you're a local. I'll definitely be back. They even gave me a little heart with the word "Happy Birthday" written on it, which was unexpected and appreciated. Thank you.

17/05/2025: Palazzo Ranucci was a pleasant discovery, a magical place with a breathtaking view and, without a doubt, from the terrace you can enjoy the most beautiful panorama of all Tuscia! The cuisine is excellent, the welcome by Elisa was truly an added value. Before leaving, we had the pleasure of meeting the manager of the location, Mr. Maurizio, an exquisite person with very elegant manners, who also made us experience the true soul of this historic building. Recommended to all those who are looking for a unique, original and, at the same time, traditional experience linked to the authentic values ​​of life.

05/09/2025: Unfortunately, something has changed, definitely the pizza chef. The "lungissimi" (long pizzas) are no longer "lungissimi" (long pizzas), they're very short, they've become half as long and shrunk by two-thirds. Before, you struggled to finish one, now if you eat two, you're still missing something. The "lungissimi" (long pizza) arrived very short, and the pizza arrived with holes, burnt, and thin as tissue paper. However, if Dante was a given before, now he's a disappointment. After politely asking when the pizzas would arrive, since we'd been waiting for 50 minutes and they'd already served the people seated after us, he responded in a somewhat surly manner, annoyed. It's not my habit to write unpleasant reviews, but I try to do them logically and constructively, not just for the sake of saying negative things. When you're a customer and you feel badly treated, it's right to express your opinion. This is definitely just my opinion, plus the value for money is absurd. The quality definitely wasn't there at the time, and the price was €39 for two pizzas and a bottle of water—you be the judge! Try it and believe it!

There is therefore intimacy and the proposal with local foods, mostly self-produced, is refined and excellently executed. It remains possible to socialize with Anna and Marco who are more than happy to explain the courses and more, but also linger to share wine and chat with the diners. A rare possibility in modern catering, at least in cities. Considering the care and rarity of the proposal, the prices are correct.

07/09/2025: We ate at La Francigena Bolsena because of the good reviews. All guests were greeted with disrespect by the very bad-tempered waitress. At first, we thought the waitress was only being like that to us, but as the evening progressed, we realized that she treated everyone else badly. The restaurant is actually beautifully located in an alleyway with a great atmosphere. The menu, drinks, salt, pepper, and food were slammed onto the table without the waitress even looking at us. At the next table, an Italian tried to get vinegar for his salad, but the waitress simply ignored him. The food is at the level of a chip shop, and the pizza is one of the worst in all of Bolsena. I don't understand the positive reviews. My recommendation: go somewhere else.
