01/04/2025: Nous sommes retournés dans ce restaurant presque dix ans après C’était toujours aussi bien Nous nous sommes régalés et le serveur était très gentil et de bon conseil Merci pour ce bon moment

01/03/2025: Posto accogliente elegantemente semplice, ci si sente a casa, Francesca fantastica, gentile, educata, sempre disponibile a scambiare due parole e due battute . Pietanze sempre ottime ben cucinate, saporite, buone materie prime, prezzo assolutamente accessibile e adeguato alla proposta culinaria. Ci siamo stati diverse volte e una o due volte al mese siamo lì, ci abbiamo portato amici facendo un ottima figura, sono rimasti tutti soddisfatti, continueremo ad andare con grande piacere.

03/07/2025: I knew this place because the pizza was delicious and Neapolitan. Tonight, while we were sitting, we discovered that they changed management a couple of days ago. We ordered 2 margheritas because from the look of the 2 owners we felt like we were at the Addams family's house. Terrible pizzas. When we got to the cash register they even told us that we had to pay in cash. Just for the record... when customers arrive they have to be notified in advance of the POS malfunction. And if we didn't have cash they held us hostage?????? Scary

15/06/2025: Rude staff and not up to the task of running a restaurant. After having had misunderstandings between the dining room and the kitchen and not having offered us adequate service rather than finding a compromise they started yelling at us. Really bad experience.

24/09/2025: A restaurant distinguished by the staff's service and their open-mindedness with the customers, because the main goal is the customer, the beautiful view and the excellent food.

14/09/2025: I do not recommend this place, the service is not nice, the customer is completely ignored, and the wait for the drinks you have already ordered is very long.

22/05/2025: Two of us went for lunch today. Very quiet, just us and one other person. Good and friendly service. The place was great. We ordered water, a salad, carbonara pasta, garlic and cayenne pasta, and a homemade tiramisu to share. Good. The tiramisu was very sweet for me, but I prefer savory food. The service was fast, helpful, and pleasant. It cost us €30. The only drawback: They don't accept credit cards.

14/04/2025: Just steps from Piazza Fiume, a place to share at Via Lucania 11a between Via Sicilia and Via Calabria. Delicious pizzas made with quality ingredients that evoke the ancient flavors of times gone by. The restaurant offers a wide selection of Roman dishes on the menu. In a gastronomic landscape that increasingly pushes diners to discover sometimes unthinkable combinations, tradition prevails here, and succeeds very well. The host is truly the guardian of our taste. The pizzas are excellent, and perhaps this is one of the few restaurants that still makes them Roman-style—hurray!—that is, thin and light, making you want to ask for seconds while remaining highly digestible. The classic and timeless tomato bruschetta is delicious, as is the focaccia with Parma ham and buffalo mozzarella. The zucchini flower pizza with anchovies is simply irresistible, tasty, and cooked to perfection. Tiramisu is exceptional; I've never had such a good meal in a restaurant. Since 1980, La Baita has been a true restaurant story, not a mere entrepreneurial improvisation destined to appear and then disappear like passing trends. A place to recommend and share with family and friends, and for anyone who wants to savor the time-honored flavors of tradition, seasoned with the tenacity and passion of those who have dedicated their lives to the restaurant business. Listening to the owners' recollections is a romantic journey into the past, the Rome of the past, both beautiful and cursed. A welcoming atmosphere with industrial touches, fast and attentive service. Absolutely fair prices; time has stood still at Via Lucania 11a, and so have we.

12/05/2025: Negli anni ci sono stata più volte e mi è sempre piaciuto, ieri sono rimasta molto delusa. Servizio totalmente disorganizzato: i camerieri che non sapevano dove portare i piatti, il vino l’abbiamo dovuto chiedere 3 volte e dopo aver chiesto di metterlo in ghiaccio non è stato fatto. Abbiamo preso i primi di pesce che erano un lago di olio all’aglio e basta (allego foto di quelli che dovevano essere spaghetti con vongole). Mi dispiace molto, ma è un grande no.

12/05/2025: Siamo venuti in questo ristorante per cena. Già all' entrata ci siamo trovati molto bene, il posto è luminoso e molto accogliente. Gli ordini sono arrivati e subito e nonostante abbiamo ordinato 5 piatti diversi, ce li hanno portati tutti insieme. I camerieri sono molto gentili e il cibo è molto buono. Consiglio.

23/08/2025: The best trattoria in Rome, just like it used to be. Traditional Roman dishes, generous portions, cooked with skill and love by the great Loreto. Thank you for the wonderful stories you told me, which I could still hear while you were telling them, and I watched you in amazement, and for the evenings spent at the restaurant with my family. I will remember you with that calm and strength that distinguished you when you were working. I'm watching you from down here. Bye Lorè, kisses.

01/05/2025: Worst carbonara eaten in Rome, it was an omelette with 4 pieces of "guanciale"!!!

16/10/2025: Very tasty. Fast service and very friendly staff. They advised us on our order. The food was good. The pasta was homemade and cooked as it should be. We were very satisfied.

06/09/2025: Great people, fast service, top-quality craft beers, and impeccable sandwiches. I absolutely recommend this place for the beauty and deliciousness of its beers, cocktails, soft drinks, and food, but to believe it, I recommend you try it for yourself. Plus, it also offers a B&B.

01/09/2025: Ninkasi is a guarantee: excellent beers, a relaxed atmosphere, and super staff (Lara and Francesco are incredibly kind!). Perfect for groups or couples, you can also eat there. A great place to unwind and enjoy the moment 🍻

17/10/2025: VERY POOR service to arrive & be told that NOT only will we NOT be able to check-in 30mins early BUT ALSO that out Room might NOT EVEN be ready for the contracted 3pm Check-in! And the excuse? Because they "allowed" the previous guest to leave our Suite later?!!! Why? And why do they think it's okay to charge and NOT honour the Room checkin time just so they can charge extra for the previous guest staying PAST their contracted time?! NOT good Customer Relations or service at all! And to add to the incompetence, the young girls at Reception all just laugh at you as if you're an idiot! I've been to this Hotel 3 times over the years BUT this will definitely be my last as it's gone downhill & is barely a 2-3 star Hotel (definitely NOT a 4 or 5 star).

15/10/2025: Very good location. 25 minute walking distance to most sites. The reception staff where helpful and a good variety of options for the breakfast buffet. Comfy king sized bed .

14/10/2025: The shop opens whenever it feels like it. I waited all day to try the pizza, but the employees weren't motivated to open at 4:30 p.m., preferring to open two and a half hours later... So I have no idea what it tastes like. The place itself looks very deserted, and you can tell this town is dying. I wish the government would invest more money, as it certainly won't attract any visitors.

09/09/2025: The wait was incredibly long, and the food was a bit poor for the price. The waiters and staff were friendly, however, and it's the only place for large tables in Anzio.

06/10/2025: Excellent trattoria, serving both Lazio and Umbrian specialties. Lovely outdoor veranda, spacious and well-ventilated. Good service. Excellent selection of first courses! A variety of perfectly cooked meats. Recommended!

02/10/2025: I did not eat here because I was told it was booked out for dinner all week when I first went in (Tuesday night). I was told to come back for lunch, and that I did not need a booking/was not able to make a booking even though I asked to. When I returned for lunch at the start of service again (Thursday) I was told the seatings were fully booked and I needed a booking to eat. The woman who spoke to me was very rude even though I inquired politely each time. I am not sure what about me offended her, but I was disappointed to be turned away twice, and in a rude manner.

25/08/2025: The beer was actually one of the best I’ve had which was unexpected. Serendipitously, I was invited here by a few friends, and there was an amazing dj. The environment and the staff were fun and friendly folks. It’s a great place to unwind and have a great time.

24/08/2025: On Friday, August 22nd, I stopped by for an aperitif. The menu offers a wide selection of gins and a few tonics to choose from for a gin and tonic. I ordered a Gin Mare with Indian Fever Tree tonic, as per the menu. After a long wait, a gin with ice in a glass and a very hot Sicilian tonic with a label that looked partially burnt arrived at my table. The person who appeared to be the owner came to the table and asked if everything was okay. I told her that the gin was definitely not the one I ordered, nor was the tonic. She apologized and deflected the conversation. When it was time to pay, I went inside and found the gins on the menu on the shelves behind the counter. No discount, let alone an apology for what happened. Obviously, I highly discouraged it, and as far as I'm concerned, I'll never set foot in there again.
