27/10/2025: Pizza I think frozen, my stomach hurts thank you. Salad not even seasoned. Hard bread. Rude waitress and exorbitant price. I don't like to leave bad comments but there are limits. It's a joke and a shame because the terrace is rather nice

22/10/2025: Nothing to complain about, a very friendly atmosphere and a place with a wide selection of both sweet and savory items. The outdoor area is also very nice and quiet. Excellent choice.

14/12/2025: 90 euros for 3 plates of artichokes...42 euros for 3 plates of chips...3 euros for a coffee......but was the farmer's included in the price?

10/12/2025: Of all the times I've visited Rome, I've never eaten so badly. We had seen this restaurant several times and were eager to try it. We'd been eating pasta and pizza for days and were craving something lighter. We sat down and ordered some vegetables. The only thing that halfway convinced us was the eggplant, but it turned out to be a bad choice, as all the vegetables had been cooked hours before and were simply reheated and served. We ordered a cheese board, thinking that would be easy to do well, but it was also a disaster. They presented us with a plate of poorly arranged pieces of cheese. The only good things were the toasted bread and the wine we ordered. We also complained because the bill didn't clearly show the dishes; they charged us, but we didn't know what each item was. Despite our complaints, they didn't give us an explanation. I have to say, the poor waiters do their best. They seemed professional, but they're managed by bosses who don't care about customer satisfaction. In short, it's a shame because this place has a prime location and professional waiters, but the quality is terrible and the bills aren't transparent. Never again.

12/10/2025: Surreal experience: we called to reserve a table for 15 at 11:00 PM on a Saturday night, and they confirmed we could eat. Ignoring the fact that half the dishes on the menu weren't available, we ordered drinks and, after being brought a few beers and five bottles of water, we were told they'd run out of water for the evening (12:00 AM on a Saturday night). We'd ordered a few portions of chicken nuggets, and what we received were inedible chicken strips (left there after just one taste), undercooked chicken, and rancid meat. The best part was the sandwiches, since as soon as the first three arrived (we'd ordered 15), we noticed that the bun was burnt, the bacon wasn't bacon, and, most importantly, that the burger had been cut horizontally and was COLD. Given the situation, we decided to pay and get up without having barely touched any food, and without the staff apologizing or saying a word about what had happened. I think it would have been enough to communicate that they didn't have the resources/staff necessary to provide dinner (and water). I've never had an experience like this before, so if you're thinking of stopping by for a bite to eat, it's definitely worth avoiding.

12/10/2025: On Saturday night, 15 of us sat down, ready for a quiet evening with friends... and instead, we found ourselves in a nightmare. We started ordering drinks: they didn't have still water, only sparkling water. That says it all. Okay, we adjusted and ordered 10 bottles of sparkling water. After a few minutes, the waitress returned to tell us that... they'd run out of that too. We ordered beers: we asked the same waitress for Weiss. After two minutes, the owner appeared to inform us that they'd never had Weiss. Perfect, by now we should have figured out where we'd ended up. Let's move on to the food: "Kitchen Nightmare" quality, and that's not just a figure of speech. All the fried foods on the menu were "unavailable" because—in their own words—"we removed the fryer, now we use the air fryer." Perhaps to save on electricity. We then ordered some fried chicken strips (so to speak). After an hour of waiting, they arrive: sour, inedible. The sandwiches are burnt, with bacon that probably went bad, and the meat seems to have been shared between multiple sandwiches. The quality of the food was simply disgraceful, and the kitchen management is appalling. At that point, we decide to get up and leave without touching practically anything. They also charge us 10 euros each without having eaten practically anything. And, as if that weren't enough, we see the uneaten sandwiches being set aside as if they intend to reuse them in the future. A place like this shouldn't even open its doors to the public. Zero organization, food worthy of criticism, and management that's embarrassing to say the least. I've never had an experience like this. But the final gem... they had a DJ playing outside... there wasn't any still water, but there was a DJ.

01/12/2025: Rude employee. We ordered a cheese and ham toast, but only half of it had cheese and ham... I don't recommend it!

16/11/2025: We were a group of three, and we ordered a bottle of wine and water. When it came time to pay the bill, the waiter (who hadn't provided any service or attention) was very rude and demanded a tip. It's a shame about the service, as the place is a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the Piazza di Spagna.

20/11/2025: Scam with Aperol Spritz prices - they promote it’s 4,90 EUR takeaway, but then they charge you 9,50 EUR for having it there. Aperol Spritz doesn’t appear in their menu, so we expected to be charged the same price as they promote for take away.

08/07/2025: La comida es insípida y sosa para los precios que se cobran. La pasta está demasiado salada para disimularlo y los productos cárnicos son gomosos. Sin embargo, lo que me motivó a tomarme el esfuerzo de crear una cuenta para escribir esta reseña fue la forma tan grosera en que nos apresuraron y trataron al final de la comida. Nos pidieron que enumeráramos lo que habíamos pedido y nos molestó que no diésemos una respuesta inmediata. Aunque hay varios camareros, en realidad interactuamos con cuatro personas diferentes que tomaban nuestros pedidos de comida y bebida. No parece que tengan una estructura lógica sobre cómo atienden a los clientes o dividen responsabilidades y mesas. Se convierte en un caos la tarea de conseguir que los clientes entren y salgan lo más rápido posible y hay mucha incompetencia por todos lados.

08/07/2025: ¡Una verdadera experiencia si estás en Roma! Mimmo te trata como a una familia. La comida es excelente. El ambiente es increíble. La decoración es perfecta. Las mesas estaban alineadas afuera y la gente seguía entrando. Fue un final increíble para nuestras vacaciones.

01/03/2025: I stopped for a coffee, cappuccino, and a slice of pizza. There were two of us. I asked if we could sit there, and they pointed to some stools. Since they were uncomfortable, I asked if we could go to the dining room, and they said no problem, and we could go wherever we wanted. The space was cramped, and we were face-to-face with our neighbors. We asked for two glasses of water, which are usually provided with the coffee. A 10-minute wait. Finally, my friend tried to go to the counter and lure us to bring them to the table. The surprise came with the bill. Coffee was €2.50, cappuccino €3.50, and a slice of pizza (very good) was almost €10. It was as if at a pizzeria we would have gotten a round pizza and received better service. No one had mentioned the surcharge at the table. When I stood up and ordered a coffee, it cost €1.30. No menu was displayed, the staff were almost all foreign and colorful, perhaps intentionally placed because of their limited communication skills with Italians. My idea, eh... I don't recommend it because of the dishonesty, the customer service, and the prices. I recommend it because of the taste of the products. .... But what can I say? Tourists are their main target, customer service doesn't matter.

19/11/2025: Their service was appalling: while I was looking at the menu and ordering, a waiter snatched it from my hand like a seagull, and then a group of three came over and demanded I leave immediately. Their reason was that I was holding an ice cream I had just bought from them when I ordered, and they even demanded I stand up and eat it, telling me I couldn't sit down until I finished. In the end, I threw the ice cream on the table (and left a small tip, of course), and left. If you're looking for lunch, never consider this restaurant!!

05/06/2025: Torno al King dopo due/tre anni dall’ultima volta e me ne vado veramente deluso. Il primo problema riguarda il prezzo. Con la cifra che spendi la, ci mangi il pesce. Il secondo problema, il principale, riguarda la qualità, che è crollata drasticamente. Tavolata di amici. Iniziamo con antipasto abruzzese, mix di bruschette, cacio fritto e facaccia con il prosciutto crudo. L’antipasto, abbondante, era veramente scarsino di qualità. Il prosciutto era salatissimo, i salami niente di che. Lo stesso prosciutto era presente con la focaccia, che era talmente dura da sbriciolarsi. Anche le bruschette male.. Super saporite e con un pane insolito. Squisito il cacio fritto. Passiamo agli arrosticini. Buoni. Nulla a che vedere con quelli abruzzesi, il che già è un problema, visto che la location si dichiara tale, ma buoni. Troppo troppo saporiti quelli di Angus. Nota stradolente: IL VINO DELLA CASA. Non si può servire una zozzeria simile. Sembrava acqua colorata. L’ho trovato davvero offensivo. Basterebbe davvero poco per dare qualcosa di bevibile. Crema catalana buona. 39€ a testa

25/10/2025: It's not worth it because the price is very high and the quality is terrible. The seafood spaghetti dish was awful, with a bitter taste, and the carbonara didn't taste good either. I don't recommend it at all. We were saddened to pay €45 for this meal.

31/07/2025: Un vero paradiso, in ogni stagione! Siamo stati a cena con amici in questo splendido ristorante di Fiumicino, e ormai è diventato un nostro punto di riferimento. It.restaurant, all’interno dell’elegante Hotel Isola Sacra, è un luogo che sorprende per la cura dei dettagli, la qualità del cibo e l’ospitalità del personale. Non è solo l’ideale per chi ha bisogno di una sosta comoda vicino all’aeroporto, ma merita assolutamente di essere vissuto anche solo per una cenetta! In estate è un’oasi: cenare a bordo piscina, immersi in un’atmosfera suggestiva, rilassante e allo stesso tempo conviviale, è un’esperienza davvero speciale. Ma anche d’inverno il locale mantiene intatta la sua magia: gli interni sono caldi, accoglienti e curati in ogni particolare, rendendo ogni pasto un momento piacevole da vivere con amici, famiglia o in coppia. Super consigliato in ogni periodo dell’anno, sia per fuggire dalle calde serate estive sia per godersi l’intimità di un ambiente raffinato e confortevole. Un posto dove ci si sente davvero a casa, coccolati e sempre ben accolti.

21/07/2025: Desafortunadamente es solo comida promedio y servicio lento. El lugar es precioso y si te alojas en el hotel, no tienes otra opción que comer aquí, ya que no hay mucho alrededor. Las pizzas están en lo que parece bastante hecho bases. Luego, las salsas de pasta son espesas y sombrías y saben como si hubieran salido de una lata. Teníamos una carbonara y los trozos de tocino eran solo trozos de grasa. El servicio es muy lento y desorganizado. Esperamos más de 40 minutos para nuestras bebidas. Hay algunos restaurantes cercanos en Trip Advisor que parecen valer la pena. Sugiero probarlos.

21/08/2025: The review is from a while back. Perhaps one of the best carbonaras I've ever seen. The appetizers were very good, and the list of #1 fried artichokes in milk was exceptional. See you soon.

26/04/2025: Locale pulito e proprietari bravissime persone, abbiamo fatto un aperitivo da loro e sono stati molto attenti nel servire.Lo consiglio!

10/12/2025: I would call it an average restaurant. You shouldn't expect some exceptional culinary experience, but if you want to have some hearty lunch or dinner this is the place. The restaurant specialty is seafood, so I would choose it over meat dishes. Although, I didn't really like their tuna tartar, while their beef carpaccio was quite good. They offer very good melonchello as digestive, so I advise not to skip it.
