25/05/2025: Fair warning, they will lie to you saying that it is booked up for the night but that doesn’t stop a food reviewer from being more prepared than them. Usually I’ll go in and act like I don’t have one then hit them with the reverse that I have reservations. Anyways, pretty good local food out here, no photos Because I forgot but the order was good overall . Just the service is horrible, they act like they are the equivalent of a 5* Michelin restaurants trying to push people away when there is obviously open space everywhere.

16/05/2025: Red beets with house mayonnaise...special! The oil they are seasoned with is also delicious.

19/05/2025: Food was bland, portions too small. The waiter brought us water without us asking, and charged 6 euros for 2 bottles.

19/05/2025: we were passing by and stopped for lunch, the first impression was not positive but I changed my mind, the owner very kind and thoughtful, asked us what type of menu to order. We ordered a fish-based appetizer, and a first course. The appetizer included some tastings I must say very good, and the mussels; the fish was fresh and the plating perfect. As a first course, they could choose spaghetti with clams and gnocchi with scampi cream. We opted for the gnocchi and I must say that I finally ate a scampi cream like I hadn't eaten in a long time. (you could finally taste the scampi and not the cheese or cream.) I was really satisfied. I think I will go back maybe to try something else.

02/06/2025: Excellent food, and very friendly waiters. We went the first night and returned for the rest of our trip. Definitely a very good choice.

11/06/2025: The food was great. The value for money is generally good. Prices are very reasonable. The pizzas are a reasonable size. However, a service charge of about 10% is added. The location is a bit noisy, but relatively quiet for a spot under the Spanish Steps.

06/06/2025: Really nice restaurant. Too close to Piazza Navona, yet not too noisy. Friendly staff, excellent carbonara, decent prices. Overall a great choice.

09/03/2025: Restaurant agréable, cadre sympa en sous-sol , petite musique ambiance 80. Personnel convivial et sympathique (Ca apporte un plus !). Côté nourriture , belles assiettes au niveau quantité et bonne au niveau qualité. Nous avons pris un rizotto de fruit de mer et des pâtes carbonara. Le prix est tout à fait correct.

14/02/2025: Be careful, trick with the price per service. We didn't eat anything, we just went to have something to drink, and they charged us €6 for service, the service cost more than what we had consumed. We left feeling cheated, although I guess it's a culture shock (hell, we're not in the USA). Despite that, it had a good atmosphere. We went and it was empty. The waiter was super friendly, a great professional.

17/05/2025: Extremely disappointing experience. We were a group of 10 women and honestly shocked by the treatment we received. The service was inattentive and dismissive from the start. The food? Inedibly salty. When we politely pointed this out, no one cared — no apology, no offer to fix it. The attitude toward us felt completely out of place. Perhaps the staff caters only to their usual 60+ crowd, but it certainly didn’t feel like everyone was welcome. We left frustrated and unheard. Definitely not coming back — and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone expecting decent hospitality.

01/06/2025: Went to Aroma for lunch and our experience was amazing. It was both my boyfriend and I’s first Michelin Star restaurant and it did not disappoint. The food, service, atmosphere, and the view is a 10/10 for us. I highly recommend if you have never done a dining experience like this before.

01/06/2025: I’m sorry but this place does not deserve a star or the recognition. We had a reservation for 21:30 and we were not seated until 22:00. The reception and hostess was undertrained and overwhelmed, she was very kind but the management was lacking. We were forced on to an elevator to the restaurant with another angry patron with little direction of where we were going. After being seated our server was extremely pretentiously rude but for no reason as the service was abysmal. The food was good and the presentation was nice but it did not fit the price. I have had better experiences at lower rated establishments unfortunately. This was supposed to be the star of our dining experiences in Rome and it fell beyond short. The location is obviously amazing but that is about as far as it goes. Even the best dishes were suffocated by the lack of detail and care from the front of house service. 10/10 maybe look at other options.

They wrote down my order wrong and still wanted me to make them pay! Dear owner, instead of your employees being funny, laughing and joking around, they should work harder. I had a terrible experience and I don't recommend this place to anyone. The place leaves a lot to be desired, it's dirty, noisy and not comfortable. The food is also not good! 19/05/2025: A thoroughly successful evening! The food is outstanding; none of us have had such a good meal in a long time. The service is very attentive, and the view is simply unbeatable.

21/04/2025: The pizza and the substitutes were good, but the cod had too much batter and was very salty. We will be back to try the meat since it is cooked on the grill and I will review that too. Tried the grilled meat and I must say excellent quality, well cooked for €40 each. Highly recommended for meat!

09/04/2025: We had a good time, the place was well finished, we ordered the pizza or the pinza, both of which were successful, lots of choice in flavors and rich condiments. We will be back to try the restaurant dishes. It's a bit hidden, but if you follow the directions carefully you'll get back there

18/05/2025: La mia recensione non è positiva perchè le porzioni sono esigue per il prezzo offerto. 5 alici fritte 11€ qualità buona, la fegola con 1 gambero e mezzo (testa e un pezzettino di corpo) 4 cozze e 10 pezzettini da 1 cm di totano. La fregola sembra fatta in casa, ma sovrasta il sapore del pesce che è poco e congelato (gamberi e calamari). La mia porzione era di circa 70/80 grammi. Prezzo 18€. Dolci, sebadas buona e quantità standard. Prezzo 8€ piú alto della media, crostata ricotta e visciole, fondo un pó crudo, ma buona la qualità la porzione ridicola il lato piú largo della crostata era di circa 4 cm, sempre 8€. Premetto che questi prezzi si hanno nelle pasticcerie tipo Massari, con quantità e location piú prestiggiose. Regalano come benvenuto 2 fritti di pasta pizza con pecorino e visto che si erano persi la comanda ci hanno omaggiato di un piattino piccolo di olive e tre mini cubetti di frittata. A mio giudizio si perdono in un bicchiere d'acqua, la qualità c'è ma deve essere rapportata alla corretta quantitá. Bastava solo in pochino in piú di tutto per farci tornare. Tra l'altro quando mi sono lamentata, ho capito che non ero la sola a fare questo tipo di rimostranze...

12/05/2025: Abbiamo mangiato bene, all'aperto, prendendo sia piatti nel menù che piatti del giorno indicati sulla lavagna, servizio cordiale, una nota particolare: le pallotte cacio e ova, molto diverse da quelle abruzzesi sono piccole e soffici e vengono servite con una salsina a base di peperoni. A rendere speciale la festa della mamma, un bel concerto jazz.
