26/08/2024: I practically never leave reviews but in this specific case I think it's right to document. I went to this restaurant a few days ago with my family. The only positive note was the kindness and education shown by the child serving the tables and a waiter in particular (The boy with the white headphones around his neck) who was fast and attentive to the service. For the rest, poor service where the waiters were slow and disoriented... I can understand a slower than normal service given the packed house that evening, but not the total inattention paid to the general service. We ordered 4 special menus, the starter consisting of a tasteless suppli with overcooked rice, limp French fries and hard-to-chew panzerotti. At least the potato croquette was saved. The pizzas spoke for themselves, far from some pizzas I saw in photos from months ago... I don't know if the pizza chefs have changed, the fact is that although I found the flavor of the toppings pleasant, the ones we ate had serious problems in the dough which was quite hard to cut and not good when chewing. Uneven cooking, in some places the pizzas were almost burnt and consequently the crust was higher in some places and lower in others. A pizzeria to stay away from.

11/08/2024: These place is great, no question asked. Food is great!! i had calamari, super good, not rubbery, perfectly fried. Wine was real good. Out of nowhere we wanted a taste of the cheese they use …. that was the top of the eve…..with wine😊👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽. ask for Domenico his demeanor makes you feel at home. Grazie a voi , La Hosteria, noi hanno piascutto il vostro servizio, ma gli formaggie…..😘😘😘. Domenico, magnifica idea di questa sugerenza….. Viva L’italia!!!! 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹

18/07/2023: Tonight I ate the worst pizza of my life. We ordered a Margherita pizza and a quattro formaggi. Two inedible pizzas arrived, hard, toasted, dry, withered cheese. Shameful. While we were complaining among ourselves, a couple who had just left approached, saying that they too had ordered the same pizzas and had made the same considerations, concluding with: poor tourists, they come here and think that Italian pizza is this indecent thing. At that point I called the waiter saying that the pizza was inedible. Unfortunately, he said he would do it again. We said no because the point wasn't to make them again, the point was: but with how much shamelessness and lack of respect for the customer do you present them with such terrible dishes? In the end, they charged us for water, wine and appetizers, and not for the pizzas left on the plate. The minimum. Actually no, the least would have been to have some explanation and an apology from the owner. And instead, nothing. Bad, really bad

27/08/2024: We ordered 2 spritzes which were delivered smooth, without a bubble. Abundant food but poor in flavor (panzanella aside). Also when I went out I realized that they made me pay 10 euros for a spritz, 2 euros more. Not to go back.

27/08/2024: 6pm aperitif absolutely disappointing. The cocktails, specifically 2 spritzes (a Campari Spritz and a DoppioZero) were terrible, watered down and tasteless, moreover it was not even clear if they were mixed with prosecco or simple white wine since the perlage in the cocktails was completely absent. What entices the majority of customers is undoubtedly the all-you-can-eat formula of the buffet, but it's a shame that what is present is quantity, but quality is lacking. The only thing I save is the pizza platter (8 pieces for two people) not in the unlimited formula, because it is a small platter for an aperitif, pizza which could be a strong point, given that although slightly tasty, but it can happen , it's still good, "oven" type dough.

14/08/2024: Stunning ! The food was one of the best I ever had in Rome. Forget about those Tiktok or IG trends. This place is beautiful n delicious. The service is good and (at least mine) waitresses spoke English. The menu was available in English as well. It has 3 ambiances: coffee outdoors, coffee indoors, and restaurant. Enter the galleria after your meal/coffee break. As it has AC available, it's ideal for those hot days in summer. Hightly reccomended. 🥰

06/08/2024: The place is located on a large terrace. The music, the plants and all the colorful tables make the atmosphere very welcoming... The service is very quick, there is not much choice on the menu and the food is of medium quality, however the value for money is good.... I recommend go there especially at sunset....

28/08/2024: I'm on holiday in Rome with my girlfriend, we've already been there for 4 days and we ate in very good restaurants, but Ristorante Caselli was the best! My girlfriend (English) had the amatriciana and I had the pesto, both very fresh and very tasty. The service was excellent, attentive but not invasive and the atmosphere was very relaxed. 100% we will be back every time we visit Rome!

11/08/2024: They don't let you in if you're wearing sandals, and given the 42 degrees in Rome these days, I find it silly. U can't get in, if you are in sandals, stay away.

23/08/2024: Come ogni anno festeggiamo il compleanno del mio papà....quest'anno abbiamo scelto questo ristorante e non ci siamo pentiti. Abbiamo optato per i menù degustazione che non hanno deluso le aspettative....consigliatissimo. Lo staff attento e molto cordiale. Torneremo

24/06/2024: A Fiumicino si mangiano ottimi piatti di pesce in molti ristoranti. Tiber41 non ha una grande selezione di piatti ma quello che propone è preparato con attenzione e sapienza. Consiglio il classico fritto di calamari e gamberi che è stato preparato con una infarinatura perfetta evitando di aggiungere molto sale. Ottima l’idea di proporlo con un tocco di cipolla di Tropea in agrodolce

01/07/2024: This fish-only restaurant is located in the nightlife area, called TESTACCIO, in the heart of Rome near the Tiber. Having a celiac wife, I'm always looking for somewhere new. When we have to book we say to ourselves: is an old and well-known restaurant better or should we try and take a risk with a new one? This place was a pleasant surprise. I tasted right here, for the first time, spaghetti with sea urchin pulp (my passion that I share with Inspector Montalbano), strictly fresh (they have them sent from Sicily). A very valid alternative is the Fisherman's Pan with fresh pasta and a rich mix of fish. The appetizers are all good, cooked for me and raw for those who love them 😁 to conclude you have to find a little space in your tummy to taste the various types of ORIGINAL APULIAN PASTICCIOTTI. 11/08/2024: I went back because the pizza was good....it was because this time unfortunately the pizza was too chewy. But perhaps the day was too humid. I'll be back hoping the pizza from a few months ago returns. I'm sure of it

12/08/2024: The food oh best food in Italy worth going 10/10 so far unforgettable ❤️ I requested tomato soup it was not in the list but the chief did it It was so delicious ❤️the spaghetti 10/10. Appetizer eggplant 10/10 and tomato 🍅 soup 100/100 👌thank you for the best experience.

27/05/2024: ++ good location to explore the region ++ beautiful view from your own terrace overlooking the lake ++ plenty of good restaurants in walking distance + large and comfortable room +/- good shower but integrated into the bedroom -- breakfast is very sparse, service not very friendly -- parking space is very hard to find nearby, the closest parking lot is 10 mins on foot -- noisy if you have people in the other room next to you --- impossible to keep the sun out in the morning
