29/07/2025: Wonderful visit to Ristorante Cecilia Metella! Family friendly, family run, and homemade family quality. We highly recommend visiting this wonderful restaurant if you’re in the area, or walk across from the Catacombs di San Sebastien. Cross the road, head to right and up the driveway. The staff were super friendly and fun. I felt like my grandpa was serving us, with his grandpa humour. Couldn’t stop laughing at his grandpa jokes. The food was amazing. I feel like this was my most authentic Italian pasta and cuisine during our stay at Rome. We ate outside on the their terrace. There were lots of tables and couod get quite busy. However, our visit was just right in terms of noise from other tables. No need to shout, but still enjoyed the energy of the restaurant with families and friends enjoying lunch out on a Sunday.

23/07/2025: Amazing lunch experience under the vines. Meals and wine were superb, service was first class and atmosphere was next level fabulous. Really enjoyed. Highly recommend.

27/07/2025: Una perla affacciata sul lago! "Ciccio e la Ristogatta" è un ristorante che conquista sin dal primo sguardo grazie alla splendida terrazza panoramica. Ma è solo l’inizio: il servizio è impeccabile, l’accoglienza calorosa, la professionalità e la cortesia sono di casa. La cucina propone piatti deliziosi, leggeri e realizzati con ingredienti genuini, spesso a km 0. Ogni portata riflette cura, equilibrio e rispetto per la materia prima. Un plauso particolare alla proprietaria Daniela, sempre garbata e attenta a ogni dettaglio. Ho avuto il piacere di cenare qui in diverse occasioni, ma la cena del mio matrimonio è stata davvero speciale: ogni invitato ha apprezzato la qualità del cibo, la gentilezza del personale e l’atmosfera accogliente. Un’esperienza che rimarrà nel cuore. Consigliatissimo!

24/07/2025: This restaurant has great food and a lot of it is locally sourced (including the wine, olive oil, ricotta, and wild salad components). We sampled 2 pastas and a main course, as well as dessert. Everything tasted great! The chef's wife was our server and she explained what went into our food in great detail. Highly recommend!

09/10/2025: Tasty pizza for the good price !

09/10/2025: Went there twice on our trip to Rome. We had a chance to try their lasagna, amatriciana, and their roast potatoes. The lasagna was of a fair size, and had a delicious cheese crust. The amatriciana was a hit, and a must try. The potatoes were also excellent, with just enough seasoning (salt, rosemary and olive oil). The food tasted fresh, and everything came quickly to the table. The house wine was also pleasantly good. We tried the white and red, and both had a mild taste, and paired nicely with the dishes. Good for those who don't like wines with a lot of tanin. Mind you that we visited in October, outside of peak season. Seating inside was a bit more comfortable, but tables were closer together. Outside you're exposed to the crowds (and smokers), but also have a bit more distance from other guests.

08/10/2025: Amazing! A tidy little place, but a top-notch pizzeria! I had two montanare for an appetizer: I hadn't had them this delicate and delicious in years! The pizza... it was pizza! Smoked mozzarella, broccoli rabe, and spicy salami: excellent! The dough was incredibly light and full of flavor! A truly welcome surprise for this dinner!

18/10/2025: We had dinner last night at this lovely and welcoming restaurant. The fresh fish was beautifully cooked, and the quality of the ingredients is evident. The homemade pasta and desserts are excellent. We also want to thank Alessio (the owner) for his kindness and professionalism in taking care of every detail. I'd also like to add that the service is very attentive and discreet. We'll be back soon for another wonderful evening.

05/10/2025: Like many others, this was an accidental stop while wondering the streets of Rome. We weren’t sure what to expect but the food blew us away. It was easily the best pasta of our entire holiday and the tiramisu was equally exquisite! We shared a starter, had one main each, and shared a dessert. All of that came to just over €55 - unbelievable value for the quality of food

16/08/2025: Very friendly. We went with a group of 21 people, and we went for two days in the same week. The food is very good, it's not expensive, and the waiters are very friendly!

30/09/2025: This was my first time eating here. The staff were very friendly. The seafood risotto was disappointing, and they had to redo the mussels because they were all closed. I don't think I'll go back.

04/05/2025: Ristorante posizionato poco fuori dal Raccordo dispone di un ampio parcheggio. La struttura prevede una macelleria/norcineria dove acquistare i prodotti dell'azienda (e non solo) ed un ristorante molto curato. Cibo di ottima fattura e qualità anche se il menù non dispone di molta scelta (eccezion fatta, ovviamente, per la carne) Prezzi poco sopra lo standard. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Da tenere in considerazione se si vuole fare un pranzo/cena in tranquillità

07/10/2025: We visited Marchese del Grillo and were truly thrilled. A trattoria that captures the essence of Roman cuisine: simple, authentic, and irresistibly delicious. We enjoyed a perfect amatriciana, with an intense and balanced flavor, a creamy and perfectly flavorful gricia, and a sautéed chicory that complemented the meal wonderfully, all prepared with quality ingredients and a care evident in every dish. The service was impeccable: the staff were kind, welcoming, and professional, always attentive without ever being intrusive. The atmosphere is familiar yet refined, making the experience even more enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants to savor authentic Roman cuisine in a warm and authentic setting. We'll definitely be back!

06/10/2025: By far the most authentic Italian-flavored grill house I’ve encountered during my entire stay in Italy! Even the restaurants in Rome could envy the culinary mastery hidden in these dishes. Incredibly delicious and perfectly balanced flavors — a flawless harmony between ingredients and textures! Not to mention the warm and friendly service. If you’re ever in Ciampino, this is the place you won’t regret visiting. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’d come back anytime!

27/08/2025: We had dinner with friends and family at this beautiful seaside spot. The location is very quiet, suitable for children, and the service was impeccable. The waiters are always very kind and knowledgeable. For appetizers, we ordered salmon tartare with avocado, octopus and potato salad, and bruschetta with clams. For our first course, we ordered spaghetti with shrimp. Divine. For our second course, baked sea bream and sea bass with baked potatoes were truly delicious. For dessert, we had watermelon, tiramisu, and the house tart, which was also delicious. Service, hospitality, and great availability from Giovanna. We will definitely be back. Thank you. 💞.

24/09/2025: A club with great potential, it's seemed to be lagging behind lately. The previous management was keen on improvements, keeping the courts and activities alive. If it weren't for the tennis school, it would be deserted after 6 pm. The restaurant can't stay open every day, I imagine due to a lack of demand. The president/management should encourage and encourage younger members to bring in new talent... You can't park inside if you're not a member. The parking lot is always empty after 6 pm, except for sporadic events. They could open for the convenience of guests... I'll change the facility!

11/08/2025: A tennis tournament where the public is practically unable to attend is embarrassing. The tennis court conditions are disastrous.

29/10/2025: Scammers and shameless. They put up signs with prices that aren't what they charge, and nobody warns you. I asked the price of the sandwiches, and they couldn't even answer me. 4.50 for a small cappuccino that you can drink in two sips. A bottle of water was 4.50 when the price displayed was 3 euros, and when I asked the waiter at the table, he didn't tell me it wasn't that price. Two coffees, two milks for my daughters, a small croissant, another pastry, two small sandwiches, and water came to 48 euros. This is outrageous; I'm going to think about reporting them because it's just not right.
