07/04/2026: A restaurant from another era. Classic cuisine, everything very good...especially the meat. Friendly staff, convenient on-site parking given the area.

06/04/2026: The food was good but nothing special. Service was ok, but some of the prices are way too high. Especially the coffee, which was 3 euros each and terribly burnt.

22/04/2026: The burger was good, especially the caramelized onions and mayo. The beer and appetizer supplì were also excellent.

20/04/2026: Felt really unwelcome, tiny portions for the size we paid and was bland, and latte was almost cold, definitely worth going anywhere else.

04/04/2026: Had an appetiser before board the shuttle to airport. The young man who serviced us was super nice. Washroom is a combined gender with 3 stalls. As per most of rome, no toilet seat.

15/04/2026: Since the little sisters left, the morning service has been different. Francesca and Romana used to be punctual, friendly, serious, and super professional, and they remembered the customers. Now there's this chubby guy who raises his voice for no reason, he has to ask for things to be repeated, and I even heard him gossiping about Romana and Francesca to a customer in their absence—really bad. I haven't been there since the aforementioned guy first gave me the wrong croissant, then picked up the right one but it slipped off the counter, and he stopped it, blocking it with his belly, before putting it on my plate. If Franci and Romi don't come back, I won't be back either.

31/03/2026: Unfortunately, it was an experience to forget. The food wasn't bad, at least not what they forgot to bring. The kitchen was completely out of sorts, with dishes forgotten and never brought, and the waiter who served us had inappropriate attitudes and jokes. No comments.

29/03/2026: The waiter was incredibly rude. They didn't bring us part of the food we ordered. Avoid.

26/06/2025: Traditional home-style food from various Italian regions, flavorful appetizers with satisfying portions, even when divided, and a variety of ingredients (meat, fish, cheese, vegetables—we tried practically everything). Delicious, perfectly sized meatballs in sauce. Good house white wine. Excellent value.

19/03/2026: Our wedding lunch was held at the restaurant L'Altra Tappa. Before deciding on the venue, we tried the restaurant several times incognito and were always satisfied with the quality and sophistication of the food and the attentive, meticulous service. I am a very precise and organized person, and Simone and Enrico were able to accommodate my every request and follow my every suggestion for the decor. I thank them and the head waiter so much for making our day unforgettable. Everything was perfect, from the food to the organization to the decor, and all our guests continue to compliment us. 03/03/2026: One of those rare gems these days. Everything at Marsicano is excellent, cooked traditionally with fresh, delicious ingredients under the watchful eye of the owner, Barone. The service is impeccable, and the two waiters, incredibly kind and always smiling, contribute to a unique experience. Feel free to order whatever you like, and if you go for dinner, you absolutely must try the pizza, one of the best and lightest in Rome.

12/04/2026: I visited last night with a friend. We ordered a feta appetizer and two mains, but after waiting 40 minutes, our waitress informed us that our order had been misplaced. She apologized and said she had re-entered it, assuring us it wouldn’t take much longer. Despite the long wait, we stayed patient; we were having a good time, mistakes happen, and the kitchen seemed to be moving slowly for everyone. However, 15 minutes later, we still hadn't even received the appetizer. We didn't think they could lose the order twice, but we were wrong... Five minutes after that, a waiter came out asking what we had ordered and who our waitress was. Shortly after, another staff member told us the food was finally coming (by then, we were practically the only ones left). The food was ok, nothing special, but not bad. We expected a small gesture, like a coffee or a symbolic discount after such a mess, but nothing was offered. To top it off, the service fee was €3/person, which felt steep given the service gaps. While the staff was very friendly, the whole situation and the low price-to-quality ratio mean I likely won’t be returning.

02/03/2026: We booked through TheFork on Friday morning for Saturday evening. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were told that the reservation had been cancelled by email an hour earlier because they needed space for a party. Even though we explained that we were from out of Rome and that we had left an hour and a half earlier to eat at his restaurant (and therefore hadn't had a chance to read our emails), the owner, with a wry smile, didn't care about finding a solution. A terrible experience. I'd rather recommend the Lebanese restaurant on the upper floor of the building. Even though we hadn't booked (for the reasons mentioned above), they found room for four people. We ate wonderfully for little money (the photo shows a small portion of the Lebanese restaurant's appetizers... excellent).

16/11/2025: Despite the crowded place, everything was good and the service was fast. The amatriciana was superb, and the pumpkin risotto was perfect. Even the coffee was delicious.
