La Terrazza Dei Papi In Roma

I go there for an aperitif with some friends, especially if we want to chat in peace in a beautiful setting. The visit is fabulous and the service excellent.

I had breakfast every day during my stay and we had a cocktail one afternoon when we had a little time to go up.

Good atmosphere until it's time to leave and they switched the music to something horrible. Apart from that, it was an enjoyable experience.

However, this area isn't specified on Google, and when we booked the table, we thought our reservation was for drinks and enjoying the views, not for dinner. When we arrived, they explained that our reservation was for the restaurant area and that if we didn't stay, we would have to pay a cancellation fee of €50 per person. We tried to explain to the gentleman in charge that it had been a mistake. We booked through Google in Italian, and we thought our reservation was for the cocktail area. An argument ensued with the manager because he demanded we pay the €50 per person, and we refused because it seemed like an outrage. There were four of us, and he wanted us to pay €200 for not even sitting down to dinner. Finally, as we were leaving the terrace, we were lucky enough to be approached by the hotel manager, who offered to listen to us and find a solution, something the restaurant manager hadn't done. He invited us to stay in the cocktail area, and we had a wonderful time. The views were beautiful, and we enjoyed the sunset. The cocktails we ordered were delicious and served with snacks. When you're abroad, hospitality makes you feel welcome. The hotel manager treated us with respect and created a comfortable atmosphere, overcoming the language barrier, unlike the restaurant manager, who made us feel uncomfortable and embarrassed. That's why I'm not giving it more stars.

We loved eating at this rooftop restaurant. We ate outside and enjoyed the view. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful.

It was a very good experience with delicious dishes. The service was excellent and very friendly; the waiter made us feel very welcome.

It was a great spot for a €20 cocktail at sunset.

We ordered cod on crispy polenta, mushroom risotto, a sparkling white wine, and a chocolate cream tartlet. The risotto wasn't to my taste, but the rest was very good. The service was quite diligent in communicating with us, which was commendable. The atmosphere is pleasant, with a beautiful view, and as a bonus, an open-air mass to celebrate our wedding anniversary at the Chiesa Santa Maria Maggiori and its beautiful fountain in front. A lovely celebration! I recommend the place.

We visited the rooftop bar for drinks and had such a lovely time. Jasmina looked after us so well, she was incredibly attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond, even taking lots of photos for us, which we really appreciated. The views from the rooftop were absolutely stunning and made the whole experience feel extra special. A perfect spot for drinks, and the amazing service made it even better. We’ll definitely be back
