26/02/2025: ¡Siempre un lugar maravilloso para almorzar o cenar! El propietario, Mario ofrece un gran servicio y excelentes platos. El menú ofrece una amplia variedad de sabrosos platos. Muy recomendable.

23/02/2025: This is one of the best restaurants I have found in Rome and it is also very affordable. From the first time I visited, I was very satisfied with the experience and the service at La Pilotta. I would definitely recommend it to anyone coming from Puerto Rico to enjoy authentic Italian food. Don't hesitate to ask for the owner, Mario, who always offers exceptional service to all his clientele.

24/03/2025: Vicino al fresco di Frascati in una via panoramica chiusa sotto la collina cè questo tipico e caratteristico locale molto bello e grande all'inetrno si svolge con molte sale a scendere scavate nella roccia e ben illuminate. D'inverno e d'estste la temperatira è la stessa e quindi preferibile venirci qualno cè il solleone , Noi a marzo faceva un po' freddino ed umido e si indossava con piacere il giaccone. Servono in maggioranza taglieri con salumi e formaggi , porchetta. Noi invece abbiamo assaggiato la lasagna della nonna a 8 € (del proprietario ) discreta . il vino rosso sfuso non è un granchè. Cortesia . Parcheggio comodo subito fuori , Ottimo per un pranzo estivo per scappare dall'afa della città.

17/03/2025: Beautiful surprise! We stumbled upon it by chance, but we were very satisfied. The place, compared to other fraschette, is easily accessible by car and the place is very charming. The guys who work there are kind, friendly and welcoming, the platters are good and plentiful, the wine is pleasant and the desserts are excellent (I recommend the donuts and the jam and ricotta tarts). All at very honest prices

14/02/2025: Locale accogliente, perfetto per colazione,aperitivo, cena. Personale molto gentile e preparato. Fin quando ci sopporteranno sarà il nostro punto di ritrovo😂

03/02/2025: I go there often, even yesterday Sunday 2 February 2025, excellent wine shop and restaurant, excellent cocktails and buffets, their fries and tiramisu are top, without forgetting their carbonara too. Perfect for aperitifs and dinners, highly recommended

03/04/2025: Simply extraordinary!!! The restaurant doesn't look like much when you walk in front of it, but don't let that stop you... The food is simply very good, and what can we say about the two waiters who put on a show during their service (guitar and singing included). We even came back the next day. Go there without hesitation.

16/03/2025: Locale accogliente troppo caldo ma le finestre aiutano. Cameriera molto funzionale e simpatica velocità nel servizio. Qualità scadente le carni (3 menu e due pizze supplì patatine) troppo al sangue nonostante avevamo detto media cottura , le riva dure, gli arrosti cibi buoni . Poi era troppo tardi per ri ordinare la tagliata più cotta. Comunque sapori che non ci hanno sensibilizzato . Contorni buoni. Le pizze buone l’impasto ma troppo secche poco saporite. Buono il supplì patatine zuppe d’olio meglio quelle stick delle chips. Prezzo medio basso. Alle 12 mi chiama un addetto chiedendomi se mangiavamo pizza o cucina ( troppo presto per dirgli la scelta ha lasciato l’ ordinazione così) mah!

09/03/2025: I tried the €26 all-you-can-eat menu and I must say that I wasn't able to eat an encore of the dishes, for the simple fact that I had to force myself to eat on the first go because the meat wasn't cooked very well and was very tough and dry. Poorly ventilated place.

10/04/2025: Our favourite meal in Rome and the best pizza I’ve ever eaten! We followed the recommendations from TikTok and although there was a bit of a queue it was 100% worth the wait! It might not look much from the outside but if you are in Rome it’s a must!!

02/04/2025: Beautiful unexpected experience. Tried a bit randomly because it was indicated with gluten-free alternatives and it turned out to be a beautiful environment. A little difficult to locate at night in the dark (with the navigator we were in doubt we were going in the wrong direction, but in reality it takes you exactly to the right position), the environment resembles a beautiful farmhouse with a huge outdoor space, even with games. The interior is very rustic and pleasant, the staff is kind and available to check the Gluten free products and report what is at risk of contamination or not. Practically the entire menu is available, the types of pasta are depending on availability. The first courses are exceptional, abundant, tasty and very varied, the amatriciana tasted like "grandma's amatriciana on Sundays". The second course, a hamburger, unfortunately arrived overcooked. The side dishes were good and abundant. Overall I would gladly go back if I were in the area, also to try the gluten-free pizzas.

11/04/2025: In front of the Cestia Pyramid, a somewhat trendy place where you pay for a plate of vegetables. Good food but nothing extraordinary that you choose from a buffet. You weigh your plate and pay (too much)

07/04/2025: Fantastic, everything is always delicious, a great variety of savory dishes but also sweets. I usually stop for lunch, I eat outside under the umbrellas looking at the square, it's wonderful. Today I stopped at the bar for a cappuccino and tasted the colomba they produce, truly delicious. You feel at home due to the kindness of all the staff and the care that is perceived in everything. A result like this can only be achieved with great passion.

16/04/2025: Locale caratteristico adiacente la storica ed omonima gastronomia. Buoni i salumi , discreti primi ed ottimi i dolci. Servizio un po’ lento, il cameriere più rappresentativo, peraltro assunto da poco, cercava di spiegare i piatti, non sempre riuscendoci l’altro cameriere è come se non ci fosse. Il menù con tendenze verso il gourmet, manca di alcuni piatti della tradizione romana. Molto onesto, il conto.

25/03/2025: Excellent restaurant on all points. You will find Lazio specialties there, it is well cooked, it is fine and less expensive than in the restaurants of the historic center. The atmosphere is both cozy and family-friendly. They also have a large Italian wine list that they can recommend to you. Finally, they offer gluten-free pasta for people with gluten intolerance. Go there you won't be disappointed, it's my number 1 restaurant in Rome.

12/04/2025: Always very good food, nice dishes and right portions. Maybe prices have gone up a bit too much since the last time I was there. However, always a guarantee!

06/04/2025: Good food but too large portions, it's a waste because you can't finish what's on your plate. They should serve gluten-free dishes but they specify that the kitchen is contaminated (gluten-free pasta is there but they cook it in the same water as the one with gluten 😓). The service definitely needs improvement, although nice and helpful, the basics are missing. Without infamy and without praise

30/03/2025: Excessive prices for unsatisfactory quality and portions. Poor starter without much praise, the cut was tough and nervous (very very low quality), equally poor side dish. Friendly staff, nothing to say but the cuisine and the quality of the raw materials needs to be reviewed. It's a shame years ago we ate much better.

03/04/2025: Nos encontramos con este restaurante por casualidad después de visitar el Panteón. El interior tiene una sensación rústica chic, y el personal fue más allá para que nuestro grupo de 6 se sienta bienvenido. La comida era fantástica! Aunque solo estábamos almorzando (ensaladas y pasta) , nos proporcionaron bruschetta y platos de degustación de los platos que estaban tomando los demás. ¡La pasta con trufa negra fue un triunfo! La mejor comida que hemos tenido en Roma. Muy recomendable!

01/04/2025: Very good time had, the meal was excellent, as was the wine The welcome was very warm despite not having booked even though we were there on Saturday evening and arrived at 8 p.m. Umberto was a perfect host and we salute his French and his kindness!

31/03/2025: Overall all in all good. Good pizza, well cooked and fairly fresh ingredients. Kind in serving us, always available and many waiters in the room so as to reduce waiting times.

01/04/2025: A variety of very creative tuna carpaccio, shrimp with arancia and chocolate sauce, lime-scented gnocchi, etc. Amazing food and great hospitality. A charming place that makes you want to go back again.

22/03/2025: We were in Rome for 7 days and ate at many different places every single day for lunch and dinner. This place was so fabulous, we went twice!!! Would've gone more if we had time. Excellent service, excellent food, excellent atmosphere. Don't waste your time researching other restaurants and just go here!!!!
