21/02/2026: I've been to this pizzeria and was truly impressed. The pizza is exceptional: light, well-leavened, and easy to digest, with fresh, quality ingredients that truly make the difference. The service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff, always smiling. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, perfect for both an evening with friends and a more relaxed dinner. I'll definitely be back, and congratulations to the entire staff!

13/05/2026: We had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The food was pretentious but extremely tasteless. The ravioli were presented to us very pompously as if they were homemade, but they looked and tasted like those from a supermarket. The prawns were soft, all the desserts were stale, and the raw fish was not very fresh.

30/04/2026: Much more than just a bar! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you think a bar is all about coffee, you've never been here. I tried their pasta dishes and was amazed: pasta cooked al dente, rich sauces, and quality ingredients (that guanciale was perfect!). Generous portions and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home. It's now my go-to lunch spot. Highly recommended!

A special mention for culinary excellence goes to the fish ravioli with cacio e pepe, which left me amazed by both the deliciousness of the dish and the truly gourmet presentation. Fresh fish, cooked with great care and in full respect of island tradition: every dish had the authentic flavor of the sea and the island. Typical Ponza cuisine is truly showcased here, with quality ingredients and generous portions. A huge compliment to the owner, always welcoming and attentive, making every guest feel at home. And kudos also to the chef, who transforms excellent ingredients into truly memorable dishes. Splendid atmosphere, impeccable service, and the highest quality. Everything was truly exquisite, from the appetizers to the liqueur. The fish was the real highlight: fresh, local, expertly cooked, and with surprising pairings. We spent the right amount and left the table satisfied and happy with the pleasure we had enjoyed. An evening made unique by truly excellent cuisine!

The place is truly delightful, perhaps a little dimly lit by sunlight due to the small windows. But the decor makes it unique and characteristic. The outdoor space... is truly worth it for a lunch during this period or a dinner under the stars after a stroll in the village of Fossanova Abbey. We'll be back as soon as possible. ONLY LITTLE BLEMISH... the welcome aperitif... 04/05/2026: I went here for a first date, and I have to say it went great! The food was exquisite, as was the waitress who served us throughout the meal. At the end, the chef introduced himself to the guests and shared his vision of cooking. Highly recommended if you want to escape Rome for a day and experience meticulously prepared, carefully prepared cuisine.

Chef Davide is available to accommodate any request and takes great care, even with gluten-free dishes. Don't forget to try his Brownie Tiramisu after enjoying his dishes, always prepared with love. 01/01/2026: Terrible experience, unprofessional staff, questionable food quality, and exorbitant prices. As soon as we arrived, we found two bottles of water on the table, which looked obviously old and had already been opened, meaning they weren't sealed. Naturally, we didn't touch them throughout the meal, and when we reached the cashier, we reported this. We received a rude response, telling us that they're the ones who place them on the tables and open them, which is absolutely unhygienic. We ate two plates of gnocchi with cod for €20 each plus a €6 cover charge; the water was taken off our bill. I don't like giving bad reviews, but given the experience, I think it's fair to write what happened.

The outdoor tables, set on the medieval basalt slabs under a portico framed by historic homes, create an intimate and charming atmosphere, perfect for a summer evening. We began with a selection of fried foods that to call excellent is an understatement: croquettes, supplì, zucchini flowers, and battered cod with pepper cream that will remain etched in your memory for its lightness, balance, and flavor. The pizza, soft and well-topped, recalls the Campania tradition without being overly thick, a carefully crafted dough that showcases every ingredient. The craft beer list is surprising, featuring quality Italian labels, and the wine selection, though smaller, is well-curated. Making the evening even more enjoyable was the company of Maurizio, the pizza chef and the soul of the place: passionate, welcoming, and always ready to share the story of his craft. His attention to the quality of the ingredients and the digestibility of the dough is evident in every dish. La Giudea isn't just a pizzeria: it's a journey through authentic flavors and local history, led by someone who truly loves what they do. Highly recommended.
