10/12/2025: Today I discovered this beautiful place where I stopped for lunch with my family and was pleasantly surprised and amazed by the quality of every single dish. We ate fresh fish cooked in full view, not to mention the fresh pasta handmade by the chef and the desserts, always made on site daily. In addition to the spectacular food, the owners were also very pleasant to be around, very welcoming and warm, as if we were at home. They are truly helpful and genuine people. I recommend it both for a quick lunch and for an event if you want to make a good impression. Their open kitchen is synonymous with transparency and quality. Thanks again for everything, I will gladly return even if I am not from the area.

Mi consiglia delle pappardelle con salsiccia, crema di parmigiano e finocchietto davvero gustose, con pappardelle fatte con grano saraceno. Ottima la scaloppina con scamorza e porcini ..porcini veri, non quelli dei barattoli. Ottimo il tiramisù e il prezzo nella media. Da replicare.

29/11/2025: Today, after visiting the beautiful Fossanova Abbey (Priverno, LT) with family, I had lunch at Forno del Procoio in the medieval center of Fossanova. The service and quality of the food were excellent, and the price was reasonable. I recommend stopping at this traditional restaurant. If you'd like, you can try the fantastic pork loin en croute, simply delicious. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, with a lovely fireplace. A wide selection of local wines is also available.

28/09/2025: Worth the wait! We went on a Saturday night and had to wait 30 min for a table for 2. The calamari mixto and the Pulpo and were delicious!! The staff (Carmen, Pepe, & Alex) were super friendly!! One of my favorite meals in Gaeta.

26/09/2025: We tried the restaurant, staying at the hotel, with the à la carte menu. The view is the most beautiful on Ponza, a marvelous terrace overlooking Chiaia di Luna beach. The menu is different for lunch and dinner, both satisfying. The prices are obviously high, but for the location and the quality, they're justified. The service is perfect, very professional. For dinner, we tried the fried calamari and grilled calamari on a potato cake, both excellent. The salad was also a surprise. The dessert was a bit disappointing. For lunch, the spaghetti with clams and bottarga was excellent. And so was the seafood salad. A feast for the eyes and the palate.

I'm giving it two stars because you expect more from a four-star hotel restaurant. The location isn't enough—it's very beautiful, and the ambiance is also very good—but the rest is needed. The service could be improved, especially regarding the cutlery arrangement and maintaining the same non-standard servings for two people. Then there's the food. A dish that "ran out" at 8:30 PM should be removed from the menu, and you shouldn't wait to be asked to tell us so. We ordered two first courses, which, based on their names, raised certain expectations, but the flavors were very distant and basic (the base was tomato, and that was basically all we could taste). Then there was the fried fish, which left us unsure about the freshness of the fish, but that's an unprovable feeling. Then there was the side salad (mixed salad with citrus and dried fruit) that tasted like coarsely chopped, bagged salad from the supermarket. With water and a half bottle of white wine, we paid over €100 for two. Now, if you want to stay in that price range you have to raise the quality bar!

There's also a wide selection of wines, with selections from every region of Italy. There's a dedicated dessert menu, offering artisanal desserts, sorbets, and gelato. The seafood appetizer is truly exquisite, flavorful, and made with fresh, authentic ingredients. The first courses are very tasty: carefully prepared, they enhance the flavors and freshness of the fish. The combinations of ingredients are also excellent. The second course, the calamari 'vopiatto', is also delicious. It's a tasty seafood dish typical of the local tradition. The artisanal desserts are delicious: as delicious in taste as they are beautiful in appearance. The staff is kind and very friendly, starting with the phone reservation. They make you feel at ease and offer attentive customer service.

23/11/2025: It's a shame it's always closed. We wanted to go last Saturday, but the opening hours said it was open... instead.... Oh well! Then it has unrealistic lunch hours. It opens at 1:00 PM during the week, when the vast majority of companies take their break from 12:30 to 1:30 PM. It's basically unfeasible. It's a shame. With a little more attention, it would be better.
