Excellent pizza. Good service. The tables in the little square in front of the restaurant are a great option.

We were a group of five on a Tuesday and we did not have a reservation. We were able to sit outside. We had a few different dishes from the menu. Pizza was fine and the starers were good. Food came quickly. One of the dishes was forgotten and we had to send it back because the fish (codfish in wet) smelled bad.

At first glance, it might seem like a trattoria from another era, but it's an environment where courtesy, expertise, cleanliness, and good food are the order of the day. Generous portions, excellent first courses, and equally high-quality desserts are all reasonably priced. It's always a pleasure to return.

Very attentive and friendly staff. It was my birthday, and I was very happy and satisfied on this special occasion. The best baba I've ever eaten in my 41 years. And that's coming from a huge baba fan. I ended the dinner exceptionally well!!!

I've seen posts rating similar trattoria in the area higher than da Emilio and raving about the quality of food and wine. Funny this is, it's always packed with locals and can be difficult to get a table while the other trattorias have open tables. Want delicious food and wine?, that old style feeling of what a trattoria is?, than da Emilio in old town Gatea is the perfect venue. We will be back again and again.

We eat here often when we are in Gaeta. The food is well prepared and presented, and always tasty. Great for groups, or single, and inside or outside dining.

The best Pizzeria in Italy. Survive an earthquake here 26 years ago in Da Emilo. Service and people are great. We go back when we can.
