12/06/2026: We had dinner here this evening. We arrived without a reservation, but they welcomed us without a problem even though the place was quite busy. Everyone was friendly, especially the owner Ugo, who accommodated my off-menu request with ease. The food was VERY high-quality, and the service was excellent. This will be a regular stop in Gaeta for us.

We had both raw and cooked dishes as appetizers, followed by paccheri allo scoglio with house Falanghina wine (delicious).
Whoever gave it one star doesn't understand anything about good food.

31/05/2026: We stopped by chance on our way to visit the "Split Mountain." We didn't have high expectations, as it wasn't a choice. We were not impressed... VERY FINE!
Excellent, carefully prepared food with extraordinary details. Good wine recommended by the lady who served us. To finish, a delicious dessert!
The price was reasonable for the quality of the products. The "votapiatto" (a plate of food) is highly recommended, although we didn't want it initially, but the lady insisted we try it.
We'll definitely be back when we're in the area!

17/05/2026: Captivated by the aesthetic details of the exterior, the interior is also very beautiful and welcoming, with stone walls, an antique oil mill, and an ancient cistern underneath. Even though there was only one person handling orders and service, we relaxed and the wait was worth it. Both the tiella and the first course were delicious, plus a nice selection of wines. One detail, which I've attached a photo of, is that be careful of the steps inside; one is a bit longer, and if you're distracted by the beauty of the place inside, you could easily trip. Good value for money.

The atmosphere is well-ventilated, intimate, and reflects the town's history. Many of the dishes are labeled with allergen information, and caters to those who require gluten-free or lactose-free options. The traditional products and dishes are excellent, especially the olive oil from local producers.
Special praise goes to the service.

01/05/2026: I came here to eat with my parents to celebrate my dad's birthday. We had octopus salad and paella Gaetana. The mussels were also very good as an appetizer. The waitress is very attentive and stays in the dining room with the guests; service is very fast. I recommend making a reservation. At 1:00 PM, the place was almost empty, and it was a holiday; it gradually filled up.

02/06/2026: It's a place I've been frequenting for years with my parents. We always enjoy returning because the quality and friendliness are unparalleled. The service is attentive, and the desserts... a huge variety, all delicious. A classic that stays in your heart.

We waited over an hour to serve a table of 13 people. The service was disorganized and inattentive. The portions were small, and the fish seemed anything but fresh. An unpleasant experience that I wouldn't recommend.

30/12/2025: I visited this pub as a couple and had a truly pleasant experience. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always available, making us feel immediately at ease. The quality of the meat is excellent, well-cooked, and flavorful; you can sense the attention to detail in selecting the ingredients. The place is beautiful, well-kept, and very welcoming, perfect for a quiet evening or just to spend time with friends. Definitely a place to return to.

16/05/2026: Honestly, given the reviews, I expected better. The seafood appetizer was plentiful but lacked flavor. The linguine with clams was too salty for my taste and tasted neither of the sea nor of garlic and oil. The shrimp and prawns used in the pasta sauce were not fresh. Could it be the rough seas of the last few days? Maybe... but I specifically asked for their daily specials... the mussels were good, and the dishes based on squid and calamari sauces are good. Courteous and helpful staff. Family atmosphere. Fair prices.

09/06/2026: We went for dinner on Saturday evening, recommended by friends. Perfect advice, I'd say.
We initially had a table in an air-conditioned room facing us, and they quickly accommodated us by offering us an even larger table. They served us very attentively and kindly explained each dish to us. We had four different fish appetizers, all delicious, two fish first courses, a fried dish, and a fish second course.
Furthermore, there was a celiac at the table, and they provide all gluten-free options.
Highly recommended for an excellent dinner in a friendly, family atmosphere.

An excellent choice, especially for those with celiac disease, as they take great care to differentiate gluten-free dishes from those that may be contaminated.
