23/02/2026: I've been eating at this restaurant every summer for years. The food is always exceptional, with the staff being incredibly friendly and the food plentiful and incredibly fresh. Spaghetti alla Nostromo has become an unmissable ritual. It's a summer staple!

28/08/2025: A very good family dinner at the seafood restaurant. The products are mostly local and beautifully showcased. Definitely leave room for dessert. The tart tin is a must-try. Let yourself be guided and discover the deliciousness that the island's products have to offer.

28/08/2025: Unfortunately, the restaurant is uncomfortable; the tables, especially for two, are small and full of decorative objects. They don't know where to put the dishes; consider that even a waitress asked us where to put a plate with the tartare we'd ordered. You can hear a lot of cutlery falling from the tables, to give you an idea. As for the food, if you order fresh fish, fine. If you rely on the menu, it's not much. The very friendly, young waiters of various ethnicities barely speak Italian. They tried, though. I couldn't wait to leave.

17/11/2025: It was my first time dining here, despite having been in the area for a while... we made a quick reservation and managed to get a table just in time. The restaurant has two spaces, one inside and one outside, and a few tables, making it intimate. The menu is primarily seafood-based; we ordered classic spaghetti with clams, swordfish, and the classic "vodapiatto." Everything was prepared with care and attention; I was pleasantly surprised. The service was good. I recommend it to anyone spending a pleasant evening in Gaeta.

14/12/2025: We chose to have lunch at this simple yet welcoming trattoria in the center of Sermoneta and had a wonderful time. The waiter was friendly and welcoming, and the daily set menu was delicious, plentiful, and excellent value (€20 for a first course, second course, water, and coffee—exceptional for Sermoneta!): polenta with a rich sausage/rib sauce, followed by pork tenderloin rolls in pancetta and bay leaves with a divine sauce! Perfect for a winter day! Thanks, and keep up the good work!

30/09/2025: I'd like to start by saying that I always like to book, both to avoid wasting time looking for a place to have lunch or dinner and, above all, to allow the restaurant owners to better organize their order. I arrive on Sunday at 2:00 PM, as booked. I wait for a table and in the meantime, I decide what to order. I order a grilled steak with porcini mushrooms and chicory for myself, while for my companion, I order grilled porcini mushrooms and tagliolini with fresh truffle. Shortly after, the waiter returns and informs me that the steak is out of stock. I then ask for lamb, but that too is unavailable. I settle for a mixed grill (all pork, which hadn't been specified). As a side, I order chicory, but it never arrives. The grilled meat and porcini mushrooms arrive, while the tagliolini arrive about 10 minutes later. Unfortunately, they're overcooked. The chicory, as mentioned, doesn't arrive. I don't feel like pushing it any further, so we end our sad lunch. When it came time for the bill, I pointed out that the chicory never arrived. I was told it was out and that there were broccoli, but they weren't served either. I'm specifying this so they don't end up on the bill. I forgot: the tagliolini were served after the next table, who had ordered after us, had already received them. They were probably ready, but they weren't delivered right away. The location is nice; we ate outside, and the staff seemed friendly. However, there's an obvious organizational problem. My suggestion: try to at least guarantee availability for those who took the time to book in advance.

01/09/2025: A fantastic little gem we stumbled across. We were a family of 13 and were seated straight away. Advice to non-Italian speakers: there's no 'menu' per se, but we were served unlimited pizzas of the chef's choice until we were full, and then a pasta of our choice. If you want a specific topping or dish, the staff did what they could to accommodate the request. We didn't quite get it at first, but ended up leaving stuffed and keen to return! The food was superb – we had a range of vegetarian and meat pizzas plus incredible authentic carbonara. Service was casual but welcoming and homely. The family clearly take a lot of pride in their establishment. The views over Itri were stunning, truly the standout of the location. Highly recommended!

06/11/2025: I always thought it was a bar, in fact I used to go there for an aperitif, but today I discovered they also serve food... I had a soup of mussels from Lake Paola, "excellent!" Affordable prices and excellent products! The quality/price ratio is excellent! Congratulations!!

08/03/2026: We went to this restaurant today, recommended by friends, and we were pleasantly surprised: the wait staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the seating we were given (reservation required) was perfect. We ordered two starters: Pasta with potatoes, provola cheese, and mussels, which was truly delicious and well-prepared. The portions were well-proportioned, and the ingredients blended perfectly. The spaghetti with clams, lemon, and calamari were truly delicious, with just the right amount of citrus, so as not to be overpowering but still bring out the citrus flavor. For our main course, we were served a very fresh sea bass, deboned by them, accompanied by truly excellent baked potatoes. To finish, we ordered their house dessert, made with amaretti biscuits, and a caprese salad. The owner was very kind and offered us coffee and liqueurs. Highly recommended, 10/10

11/01/2026: I'm a regular at Ristorante Mediterraneo in Gaeta, and each time it confirms its excellence: delicious dishes and top-quality fresh ingredients, especially fish and Mediterranean specialties. It's undoubtedly the best restaurant in town, and I recommend it to everyone! The location is also charming, overlooking the sea with breathtaking views of the harbor and the promenade, perfect for enjoying a relaxing meal. It's easily accessible by car thanks to nearby street and dedicated parking. I recommend trying the lemon linguine; it's truly delicious!

04/09/2025: Welcoming staff, but the quality was truly poor. The calamari appetizer was decent. The first courses were very elaborate and didn't bring out the flavor of the fish. The fried fish was awful and blatantly frozen. There were four of us: two appetizers, four first courses, one fried fish, and one dessert, four bottles of water, and one white wine (a satirical one), for the modest sum of €60 per person. I'm sorry to say this, but I won't be returning.

A welcoming, family atmosphere, extremely friendly staff, and traditional cuisine with a touch of innovation. Try the new summer dish, Pasta alla Gennarino! Prices are in line with the location. Highly recommended.

23/02/2026: Pizzeria located near the Church of Santa Teresa, adjacent to the Town Hall in the center of Formia (LT). The restaurant has a small room for takeout and a larger room for dine-in. The interior is bright, modern, and yet welcoming. The menu offers a wide selection: from appetizers to fried foods, from pizzas (in addition to the classics, there are many specialty pizzas), to a selection of first and second courses, and finally, desserts. The trio of montanare, filled with pistachio cream, pesto and parmesan, tomato sauce, and mozzarella, is very delicious. Very light, with a soft and light dough. The pizzas are also delicious, with a soft and light dough. The ingredients and toppings, carefully combined, enhance the flavors and quality of the ingredients. It's a combination of tastes and flavors that delight the palate. As for dessert, the artisanal tiramisu is truly exquisite. The perfect end to the meal. The staff is kind and friendly, offering very attentive service, making the customer feel welcome and at ease.
