11/11/2023: Frequentavo questo locale periodicamente ed era una certezza. Visitato ad ottobre dopo il cambio gestione, si notano subito alcune differenze. Si è persa la particolarità dei piatti che caratterizzava la loro cucina. Ora i piatti non lasciano il segno tanto che a distanza di una settimana non ci ricordavamo cosa avevamo mangiato tranne le polpette. Inoltre abbiamo notato una scarsa cura nei dettagli e nell’attenzione del cliente. Ad esempio in sala c’era un tavolo con persone che parlavano solo inglese e la cameriera pur essendo molto gentile, non era in grado di comprendere o dire una sola parola nella loro lingua. La vicinanza con Roma qui potrebbe farsi sentire e bisogna adeguarsi ai tempi. Un corso di inglese è un investimento per questo tipo di attività. Nel frattempo come soluzione tampone, una traduzione del menù in inglese potrebbe aiutare. Un’altro aspetto che non ci è piaciuto è stata la carta dei vini: pochissime etichette in aggiunta anonime. Dopo cena abbiamo scoperto dal titolare che c’erano altri vini del Trentino sullo scaffale (non presenti in carta)che però non ci sono stati proposti al momento dell’ordine. Oltretutto nel Lazio si stanno affermando diverse cantine con degli ottimi vini anche biologici: perché non proporre cantine del territorio? Spero di tornare in futuro e vedere questo ristoratore tornato come un tempo.

29/08/2023: An idyllic place, it makes you feel like you're in a dream. The magical atmosphere that you breathe and which delights all the senses can also be tasted in the drinks, imbued with a mysticism that makes the mind travel to places imaginable only in fairy tales. The dimensions of the venue are symbolic: so many people are packed into the "Buco" to experience first-hand the much-vaunted dining experience it offers. Here we can see the genius of the founder, who evidently wanted to compare this image to Dante's rose of the blessed, a place outside this worldly and corrupt earth of ours where we will be able to enjoy forever the bliss granted to us by God, where the blessed live by glory and love by choosing this place as a meeting place. Every time it seems to me as if it wasn't beer but ambrosia that came out of the tap, and in the hands of the staff when they assemble the cocktails you can clearly see the divine inspiration that moves them. The "Hole" is a place of salvation where no one is excluded, where everyone can feel welcomed, we can all experience the message of hope and peace that the "Hole" brings with it. The "Hole" is all this and much more. There is poetry in everything surrounding this mystical place. The name itself, "Hole", is a metaphor. The hole represents the abyss of despair into which I fall, and into which perhaps we all find ourselves. One might think that for this reason the "Hole" is a place of perdition, where we abandon ourselves to the inevitable flow of things that leads man to annihilate himself. Instead it is quite the opposite, and this sacred temple exploits this opposition to send a message of joy, solidarity and hope. It is through the dark moments of life that we are able to fully enjoy it. "Everything passes through pain", from the smallness of the "Hole" to eternal bliss. I often frequent this place of worship because I am depressed and through the hole I can elevate my soul
