We had a fantastic meal there. We ordered the fried seafood and the pasta with pistachio pesto. We also had several appetizers. We highly recommend it. The service was amazing, too. They even gave us a bowl of water for our dog. We also highly recommend the ice cream parlor across the street.

Calpurnio is a memory of my winter evenings when I return to Gaeta: a place where you can feel the warm, family atmosphere, just like among old friends.
It's a restaurant, but above all a pizzeria, with a rich and delicious selection of appetizers. The pizza follows true Neapolitan tradition: soft, well-leavened dough, topped with quality ingredients that truly make the difference.
The fried anchovies are also excellent, crispy and flavorful, perfect alongside a simple tomato salad.
And then the bread, baked by Paride in a wood-fired oven, is worth the visit alone.
Highly recommended.

Everything was excellent! Recommended by a friend, I booked at this restaurant and pizzeria! We're a couple with a 1-year-old baby... They were careful to assign us a special table... and a high chair was available. The food was excellent, from the appetizers (fried) to the EXCELLENT pizza!! Neapolitan-style, leavened for 72 hours... incredibly light! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This place is still an excellent place to eat, even for lunch. The seafood risotto and the fried calamari were excellent, crispy and perfectly dry. The fish was excellent.

A restaurant in Gaeta's beautiful historic center, overlooking the harbor. It was a sunny day with few tourists (February 26). Friendly and professional staff, a good selection of dishes, including a tourist menu. Excellent mussel sauté as an appetizer, followed by a spectacular calamarata with olives and Gaeta capers, thoroughly enjoyed with a glass of delicious Falanghina. Definitely worth returning!
