Ristorante Canasta In Riccione

Had a super delicious meal in Riccione.

We visited this restaurant on May 30th. Despite it being crowded, we managed to get a table thanks to a reservation. The atmosphere is refined, modern, and enjoys a great location on Viale Ceccarini. Unfortunately, the dining experience didn't live up to the aesthetics of the place. I noticed a lack of connection among the staff. We ordered platters to share, and I ordered a Black Angus steak, but the quality-price ratio was unsatisfactory: the meat arrived incorrectly cooked (I asked for it rare and it arrived medium; the medium arrived well-done) and lukewarm, likely due to inefficient management of the kitchen's timing (perhaps to wait for the potatoes to be ready). The pizza isn't bad, but it's not a specialty. At the checkout, calculating a small €5.50 discount turned into an unnecessarily cumbersome process. We spent €50 each for service and quality that, unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend. I definitely expected better.

Very nice and well-kept place. Food: I had the cuttlefish and they were very good, as was the mixed platter (the grilled fish was breaded), and the sirloin steaks were lukewarm. The dinner was very expensive, around €50 per person with a main course and shared appetizers.

After careful consideration, we chose La Canasta for our dinner, and we hit the nail on the head! Handmade gnocchi with sausage and a divinely creamed cherry tomato. But to start, marinated salmon on a bed of Venere rice and vegetables. Great service and a beautiful venue. Thank you.

We stopped for a quick lunch and had a great time. The place is very nice, and the food was of average to high quality. The staff was very friendly, and the service was very fast. The prices are slightly above average. I recommend it.

If I'd been influenced by the many negative reviews this restaurant has, I would have missed out on a wonderful dinner tonight. I don't know if the management has changed since the negative reviews, but the fact is that we ate very well tonight. Mussels with pepper, spaghetti with clams, and seafood carbonara... all excellent! Recommended!

A very poor experience at Canasta. While some aspects of the food were decent (the pizzas were good and the chocolate tiramisu was a gem), the rest was completely lacking. The service was interminable, and we weren't served at the same time. Paying top dollar for a salad with practically nothing on the plate is unacceptable. It's a shame, but the quality of the welcome and service is just as important as the food itself. I do not recommend it.

Went here by chance, and it was a nice surprise. We had two fried fish and vegetables, a nice portion, tasty and not very greasy, excellent fries and plenty of them. Average price. Well done.

We were warmly welcomed by the young, friendly, and qualified staff, even though we hadn't booked (and it was Easter Eve). The location was excellent, the draft beer was WOW, and the pizza was fabulous. We'll definitely be back. Congratulations to the entire CANASTA staff.
