17/04/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at Il Verricello, and I must say it was a truly excellent experience. The cuisine is its true strength: each dish demonstrates meticulous attention to the ingredients, always incredibly fresh and showcased to their best advantage. The flavors are balanced and well-seasoned, and the chef's care and passion are clearly evident in every course. Special praise also goes to the service: the waiter was impeccable, always kind, helpful, and attentive. He guided us throughout the dinner with great professionalism, offering the best advice and making the experience even more enjoyable. A restaurant that knows how to make you feel pampered, where quality and hospitality go hand in hand. I will definitely be back!

10/04/2026: A culinary experience you must try at least once in your life. If you visit the Sorrento Coast, you must stop by this place and enjoy the dishes served with a view of the sea in Meta di Sorrento.

07/04/2026: Very good food, but they're prejudiced against Italians. Dario is very kind!!! I'd like to add something that seems relevant to me. When booking, I asked for the best available table for an important occasion. I was told that they'll assign you a table upon arrival, and I rightfully accepted this as policy. Upon arrival, I was told there's a minimum spending limit on the terrace, which isn't a problem for me. When I told them I'd spend it, they told me it's hot and we can't stay there because they don't have a roof on the terrace. We ate with a wonderful view, but I asked to have dessert on the terrace, and they granted it. While we were on the terrace, the Americans magically arrived, and they ate lunch on the terrace. I hate double standards. Losing yourself for so little is something that shouldn't happen in a place of this caliber. I hope the owners read this and take action. The tables they reserve weren't used until 3:25 PM, which is when I'm writing this review, and I'm sorry about that. I wanted to go further, but I'm sorry what I experienced at dessert shouldn't be repeated. I wish you all the best in your guest service. You're already very good at cooking.

02/04/2026: Nice restaurant... the first evening... top welcome, top-notch service—very friendly and courteous... and the food was delicious, too. The second evening, the welcome was a flop, the service was a flop, the food... well... instead of the tagliata, I received strips of meat... I didn't see anything of the tagliata. The waiter's reaction was also a shame. After kindly expressing our opinion on the food, he simply said, "I'll let you know," then disappeared for the rest of the evening. He sent another waiter to get the rest.

19/03/2026: The food was incredible. The lemon spaghetti was ridiculously good, along with the fettuccine alfredo. The service is quick and accurate. Once a table with a great view opened up, they invited us to move there, and we ate with a stunning view of Poscitano, the ocean and cliff side. For desert, I could not recommend the lemon sorbet more, served inside a lemon. Truly a highlight of the trip!

02/04/2026: Aunt Rosy is kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Excellent food. We spent two nights in Naples with friends and family. We found Rosy by chance, as we were staying in the Spanish Quarter. She had a table for seven and didn't hesitate to set it up for us. We tried typical dishes, and even the kids were happy with their food. It's a small trattoria, with limited seating. She's fantastic. If we ever return, we'll definitely go to Rosy's! Don't eat predictable dishes; with Rosy's touch, they become unique.

06/05/2026: What a lovely discovery this restaurant was, tucked away from the bustling streets of Naples! Intimate atmosphere, only about ten tables, excellent service, and above all, delicious food! We tried the octopus salad, the pasta alla nerone, the pasta alle vongole, and the seafood pasta, and everything was superb. Thank you to the front-of-house and kitchen staff!

It's not just a restaurant; it's a love letter to Campania. Let me tell you about what happened at our table. Act One: Seafood and Tradition We started with Impepata di Cozze. Simplicity at its purest. Mussels, black pepper, a hint of lemon. When they lift the lid, the steam hits you in the face with the scent of the Tyrrhenian Sea. There's something primal and utterly brilliant about it. You need nothing more than a piece of bread to mop up the aromatic broth from the bottom of the bowl. Then came the pastas. The gnocchi alla Sorrentina were... well, they were like little, fluffy clouds bathed in sunlight. That tomato sauce? Sweet, deep, with a chewy mozzarella that makes you forget the world for a moment. And the Linguine allo Scoglio? It was a feast. Every bite of pasta was infused with the essence of seafood. It tastes as if the chef had simply gone to the port in the morning and asked the sea, "What do you have for us today?" Main Course and Sweet Finale For the second course – Calamaro alla Brace. Grilled squid. Sounds simple, right? But the devil is in the details. Delicate, with that perfect hint of grilled smoke that highlights, rather than overpowers, the natural sweetness of the mollusk. But if you want to feel the heartbeat of Naples on a plate, go to Carmela. It was... simply exceptional. *Bellissimo.*

12/04/2026: Deliciously sublime...if you pass through Bacoli, stop at this osteria...it's worth it...the wine list is also excellent...and for a digestif, the Nepeta. I returned almost a year later on Holy Thursday and had a divine mussel soup... Thanks, Franco, you're a monster of a chef.

The cuisine is top-notch, precise without being cold: elegant raw seafood, intense first courses, crisp fried dishes, and desserts that finish with intelligence. Everything in the right place, without excess. The service is impeccable, attentive but never intrusive. The hosts are there, and they make the difference. A sure thing. Always.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure every detail was perfect throughout my stay. Their professionalism and warmth truly stood out and made me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. Food was incredible, superb selection at breakfast. Everything about the service was outstanding, and it really elevated the whole experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality. Would love to return.

10/11/2025: Amazing place! Spectacular sea views, a relaxing atmosphere, and super friendly staff. We had lunch just a few meters from the water with truly delicious dishes: a fresh seafood appetizer, flavorful seafood paccheri, and a light dessert with cream and strawberries that was simply heavenly. A glass of white wine, a sea breeze, and a breathtaking view... what more could you ask for? After lunch, we also enjoyed an aperitif overlooking the sea, and it was simply perfect. La Gavitella is one of those places where you can truly relax and enjoy the Amalfi Coast in all its splendor. ❤️
