20/10/2025: Fantastic meal! Coincidentally we dined here on Columbus day! Very fresh ingredients, locally raised and member of slow foods! 5 stars!

19/10/2025: Visited on 10/14 and sat on the outdoor porch area. Weather was nice, Vibes were good, the waiter was nice. We ordered 3 food items and 2 beverages for 2 people which came out to be €83. Lemme break it downnnnn Fritto Misto €18.50 : fried noodle patties, sticks of carrots, eggplant and zucchini. no seafood. Ravioli capresi €18.50: it was tasty but I got only 1 tomato tho, which was so sparse, different from all the photos I saw in the reviews. Pasta with clams €22.00: alright. 3.5/5 Limoncello €13.50: couldn’t find it on the menu so we just asked for it. Still water €3.5: good Table charge €3.5/person Remember to ask for itemized receipt and not be a pair of confused American tourists like us lol FYI, we didn’t get an itemized bill so we were confused on the prices. After the response below, the restaurant clarified the prices separately and this review has been updated to reflect the actual cost of each items.

12/10/2025: This is my third time in Naples. We've tried various historic/typical Neapolitan trattorias, some of which were recommended by local guides, and I can honestly say that I've never found a Neapolitan ragù like Ettore's. The pasta with Neapolitan ragù and the main course (meat with tomato sauce) have a divine tomato sauce. I truly applaud the restaurant because I love tomato sauces, and the one I ate here was the best I've ever had. Simply perfect. All the other dishes are excellent, too; the Genovese is very good, but when I return to Naples, Ettore will definitely be a must-visit. Thank you for the unforgettable culinary experience you gave me!

05/10/2025: We've been to this trattoria twice, and both times the food was truly excellent. All the dishes were delicious and prepared with great care. The house red wine is also delicious! An authentic, welcoming place, and absolutely recommended.

20/10/2025: Taking a boat from the port of Positano, I discovered La Gavitella, a true hidden gem on the Amalfi Coast. The place, nestled against the cliffs and opening onto the sea, exudes serenity. We savor a spritz, indulge in a dip in the turquoise water, and then enjoy a lunch of remarkably fresh Mediterranean flavors. The service is attentive and warm, and the atmosphere refined without the slightest pretension. Everything here invites you to let go and fully enjoy the moment. A place of rare beauty, where time seems to stand still—arguably in the most beautiful region in the world. 🌊✨

13/10/2025: Another strange experience, honestly. We're not used to private beaches, and in this region, 99% of them are taken over by restaurants. So, you expect first-class service, and the truth is, it's not like that. In such a touristy place, they don't speak Spanish or English. "ABSURD." Afterwards, they only had one waiter, who was hardly a waiter. He set the table in five stages, since instead of carrying everything on a tray, he brought us: the tablecloths first and left. After a few minutes, he arrived with the cutlery and left, then the plates, and then the menus. So if you ask about the food, I'll leave it to your amusing conclusion. In short, expensive and bad. Anyway, Italy....

14/08/2025: We had a wonderful experience at Fracatel! The food was absolutely superb — fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with the best local ingredients. The service was outstanding: the staff took such good care of us, always kind, attentive, and thoughtful about our needs, never once making us feel rushed or unwelcome. One especially touching moment was when a member of the team celebrated their birthday and kindly shared their homemade cake with us — such a sweet gesture that made us feel like part of the family. A true gem where hospitality and quality go hand in hand. Highly recommended!

22/10/2025: The food was okay but definitely not worth the high prices. The desserts were also a letdown I expected much more, especially for what we paid.

22/10/2025: Lovely view, but the food was disappointing. The shrimp and octopus were mushy and not fresh—surprising given the waterfront location. Prices were high for what was served, and it felt like the better seafood was kept for locals. Would not return.

04/10/2025: Excellent lunch! Took what the staff recommended and was not disappointed. The seafood was delicious. The wine recommended of similar quality. Perhaps the best part was however the location, you are not in Capri town and that is a big plus in our book.

16/10/2025: This is one of the loveliest places I've been, the food is true Italian and delicious. The hosts are the main course, kind and relaxing atmosphere it looks built into a cave and the people are just so lovely. Spaghetti bologniese was delicious and the pizza. A lovely experience for food and family friendly and romantic at the same time

13/09/2025: Tonight I went to this restaurant with my boyfriend and it was a wonderful experience. The view is simply breathtaking, and the atmosphere is special and unique. The food was perfect down to the last detail, carefully prepared and truly delicious. The staff also deserves a special mention: super attentive, friendly, and always available. A place I absolutely recommend and will definitely return to!

12/10/2025: A quaint osteria on the Chiaia steps. Limited seating, both inside and out. Excellent food, friendly service, and very reasonable prices. We had lunch for two, including a first course, second course, side dish, wine, water, and dessert, for €63. Highly recommended.

12/10/2025: We found it by chance. We were looking for a restaurant to eat at before returning to grab our luggage and heading to the airport. The food was very good, as was the service. Out of courtesy, they offered us a homemade limoncello: delicious.

13/10/2025: A beautiful place where the food is excellent, the rooms and view are incredible and that you are truly sad to leave when your visit has ended. This is a warm, family owned and operated place that feels like home. Beautiful!!!

06/10/2025: This place literally took our breath away away. The food was amazing but do not try to come without reservation. The wine was one of the greatest we have had on our entire trip. I had the pasta with braised pork and onion ragout, which was to die for!

10/10/2025: My husband and I had dinner at Terrazza Calabritto restaurant in Naples, and it was a truly special experience. We chose to sit on the terrace, with a view that provided the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable evening. The restaurant has been tastefully renovated: elegant yet not cold, refined yet welcoming, every detail exudes care and attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the entire dining room team, especially Andrea and Lorenzo, who immediately made us feel at ease, as if we were special guests. The service was impeccable: attentive, friendly, but never intrusive. And what about the food? The spider crab was simply exceptional, the best I've ever eaten, incredibly fresh and prepared to enhance every flavor without ever overpowering it. The high quality of the ingredients and the great expertise in the kitchen are clearly evident. Every dish we tasted was a mini-journey through the flavors of the sea, with meticulous presentation and well-balanced portions. It's rare to find a restaurant where everything—ambience, service, cuisine—comes together so harmoniously, offering a complete and authentic experience. We'll definitely be back, because places like this deserve to be experienced multiple times.
