11/09/2025: I don’t write a lot of reviews. I have to tell all what a fantastico experience we had at Vela Bianca this evening. Free m the moment we were seated until the time we left, we were treated so well. The manager, Michael, was kind and welcoming. Our primary server, Mucharo, took great care of us nd we adored his sense of humor. The food was amazing… best meal in Sorrento so far. We’re hoping to come back again before we leave. Highly recommend!

05/10/2025: Highly recommend LaTonnarella. It is in a great location with breathtaking water views from the rooms and dining room. The hotel’s decor is beautiful. The staff is very pleasant and professional. The food is delicious. We wished we could have stayed longer.

02/10/2025: My wife and I really enjoyed our 3-night stay here. We visited in late September and had great weather. The hotel is nicely decorated and we loved our terrace balcony with a great view of the bay. We also enjoyed the hotel breakfast. We did not make too much use of the beach but it is pretty rocky down there so I would recommend bringing some water shoes or flip flops. We also had dinner one night at the restaurant and the food and service was fantastic.

26/09/2025: Simple cuisine with genuine ingredients Abundant dishes and fast service. The porcini mushroom rolls were simply exceptional. Ms. Marianna was very kind, coffee was free, and a full belly was left. Highly recommended.

21/09/2025: Today we returned to this restaurant, where the food is always excellent. The food is as excellent as the ingredients used. It's run by the family who owns it, and the people are incredibly kind: Salvatore the chef, his wife, and all the staff. The dishes are mostly meat-based, but today they also had spaghetti with clams, and I didn't want to miss out. The gnocchi and pasta baskets with local cheese and mushrooms were also delicious. The meat was delicious and perfectly cooked, and the fries and baked potatoes were both natural.

07/10/2025: We came here as a family to eat. I was initially convinced by the quality of the food. The pizza was good, but the pasta was too salty and quite expensive for what we got. Unfortunately, we had to return most of it, which was disappointing.

05/10/2025: We were a large group (12 people), but we received fantastic service. The waitress was very friendly, always smiling, and managed to keep the entire group of guys in check. We ordered a variety of things, and everything was delicious. The place was lovely, set in a tent in the garden. Highly recommended.

12/10/2025: There are restaurants you visit once, and others you long to return to: Le Nonnerie definitely belongs to the latter category. Its cuisine is rooted in tradition, but it doesn't stop there: it experiments, dares, and surprises. Each dish is carefully crafted, and even when it features unexpected combinations, you always sense a confident touch and authentic flavor. It's one of those rare places where you can confidently order blind, knowing that whatever comes your way will be excellent. It helps you step out of your comfort zone and experiment with things you wouldn't usually choose. The menu changes monthly, and that's one of the reasons I return regularly: every visit is a new experience. The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming, perfect for both couples and a family evening. The owner is a true host: kind, passionate, and always eager to share the story behind a dish or ingredient. It's my culinary refuge: a place that surprises without ever disappointing. P.S.: I'm looking forward to the return of the Bao sausage and broccoli rabe.

03/07/2025: Sono stato in questo ristorante e ho provato gli agnolotti: semplicemente spettacolari. La pasta fresca, il ripieno saporito e il condimento perfettamente bilanciato hanno reso il piatto indimenticabile. Servizio cordiale e atmosfera accogliente. Tornerò sicuramente per provare altre specialità del menu.

28/09/2025: We stopped by this place by chance, and it's definitely worth a second visit to enjoy at least one of the tasting menus. The quality of our food was excellent, but what surprised me most was the chef's courtesy. Even though I didn't order an appetizer, in addition to the welcome sample, he still brought me a small appetizer. And since I'm lactose intolerant, he made a dessert especially for me, not forgetting a small one for my companion as well. I understand the name chosen for this place even better. Customer care, the desire to provide joy, a meal, and a moment of happiness are truly the chef's ultimate goal. Thank you, and see you soon.

09/09/2025: A huge disappointment. I expected high-end cuisine, but the only thing that was high-end was the bill. An appetizer with an undefined flavor, followed by two passable first courses. The meat-based second course was almost inedible, not to mention the quantity: a centimeter of boiled meat accompanied by three green beans on a spoonful of mashed potatoes. I wonder how they got a star.

19/09/2025: Magnificent medieval-style restaurant with very elaborate cuisine. We highly recommend it.

22/08/2025: In the charming Candelo, a medieval-style tavern that fits perfectly with its setting. We had the pleasure of choosing from the menu displayed outside the magnificent entrance, which was undoubtedly inviting. Even though we were accompanied by our parrot on this out-of-town trip, they kindly welcomed us and seated us in a magnificent, softly lit room with wooden tables, fresh roses on each, and pewter plates. The appetizer was delicious: the stuffed eggplant was expertly executed, the beef tartare with onions was delicious, and not to mention the porcini mushroom dish. We chose to enjoy them fried and accompanied by veal fillet. To finish it all, a berry sorbet and an excellent mint panna cotta. Dinner was accompanied by breadsticks and fresh bread. Along with our coffee, we were served some delicious sweets. The service was impeccable and truly kind. At the end of this pleasant experience, we also had the pleasure of seeing the entire venue, meticulously designed down to the last detail: lighting, spaces, colors, materials... Candelo's style is evident throughout the tavern, which also offers ample space for hosting conferences in a dedicated room. The upstairs offers a delightful view, with meticulously designed furnishings. We'll definitely be back, and congratulations to all the staff!

11/09/2025: People who leave very positive reviews evidently haven't had the chance to appreciate the founders' management. The flavor of the crocchettone of the past (you could have eaten 3 or 4 on your own and they'd leave you with a memory that made you anxiously await the next opportunity), at least for what happened to us, hasn't been reflected in the dishes at all. The ones we've eaten recently (we haven't been there in about 4 years) are a bland copy of the previous ones, a "base" that needs to be heavily stuffed to contain the flavor, and the breading, once deliciously chunky, crunchy, and rustic, is now just a veil of fine grains. It may have been a coincidence, but the "pure" ones we ordered didn't even have mozzarella inside. What can I say? We just got it on one night, didn't we? However, hearing the opinions of acquaintances on the matter, I find it hard to believe.

09/10/2025: Fantastic authentic italian food. Nice wine selection. Good value for money. The anchovies as a starter are a must try.

20/09/2025: The food was average, the salad was delicious. We ordered two seafood pastas, and the identical plates had different amounts of seafood: one plate had a lot, the other only a few, and the pasta lacked flavor. There was only one shrimp in the pasta, and it wasn't peeled. The service was terrible; the young woman in glasses who served us was incredibly angry and practically threw a bag of bread on our table with a nasty look.

19/09/2025: The food was decent but nothing special. The pizza was average, lacking in ingredients, and the dough was slippery, which I don't like. The seafood was good. I really enjoyed the limoncello, and the prices were reasonable.
