Extremely friendly service, varied dishes and wines, great cocktails. Relaxed outdoor setting to enjoy the world-watching or a garden restaurant for a more romantic or intimate atmosphere. I recommend it.

Restaurant located in Anacapri: a beautiful lemon grove, with a charming atmosphere. Friendly staff and quick service. Unfortunately, the food didn't meet our expectations; it was definitely more beautiful to look at than tasty. Although the fish was fresh, the flavors didn't wow us. The only exception was the mojito mayonnaise, which was served with the tuna and shrimp tartare instead of the expected wasabi mayonnaise, which was truly excellent. One final, truly disappointing note: having paid in cash, we were given change without a receipt. We had to ask for one and wait quite a while before receiving it. The prices were quite high, but above all, the quality/price ratio was disappointing.

I had lunch here last week. Lovely place. Delicious food. Excellent staff. I highly recommend it. The only thing I didn't like was the view of the bathrooms across from the open kitchen.

Beautiful setting, great service. We came here during our Italy trip to celebrate our 15yr anniversary. The night before we went to the more famous Da Paolino restaurant, so it was nice to compare two similar places set amidst lemon trees. The setting was beautiful here and very memorable. We started with grilled octopus served with some potatoes. It was a small serving but really delicious. They also served us various breads and some cracker like appetizers with some oil and balsamic vinegar. I had the fish of the day, (dentex) and a side of grilled veggies. It was a white fish similar to sea bass, according to the waiter. They had a few options as to how it would be served (various sauces). I went with the onions and garlic cooked and poured over the top. The fish was deboned table side, which was a cool feature, although the fish was a little cold by the time they were done deboning. I would've rather them do it in the back and serve it hotter. That was my only complaint. My wife had linguini with fish, olives, capers, and some cured roe, which was something I never heard of. I didn't try hers but she enjoyed it, although she had heartburn that night, lol. Overall it was a lovely date night. Smaller portions relative to the cost of the entire meal, I'd say.

⭐⭐⭐☆☆ We discovered La Zagara by accident and immediately fell in love with the setting. Having lunch under the lemon trees is a truly special experience, and our first meal was outstanding. The sea bass was excellent, and the tomato pasta with zucchini was one of the best dishes we had on Capri. We enjoyed it so much that we made a reservation for dinner the same day. Unfortunately, dinner was a completely different experience. The restaurant seemed overwhelmed by the number of guests, service felt stretched, and the food quality was nowhere near the standard we experienced at lunch. I ordered the same sea bass that my wife had enjoyed earlier, and the difference was remarkable. At lunch it was exceptional, while in the evening it was simply mediocre and quite disappointing. What makes this especially frustrating is that we know how good the kitchen can be. The contrast between an unforgettable lunch and a very disappointing dinner left us with mixed feelings. The location is beautiful, but consistency was a major issue during our visit.

I'm not giving it 5 stars because of the slow service. We had a reservation for 8:45 pm, our table wasn't ready when we arrived, and then we had to wait another 20 minutes for our order to be taken—and even then, only because we had to ask twice. The wait for the food was reasonably acceptable, but again, we had to ask for the bill several times. It's a shame because the place is very nice, very pretty, and the food is good (very generous portions, which justifies the price).

Beautiful restaurant under growing lemon trees. All outdoors. The staff is very nice. The menu is very good. The "From our Garden" appetizer was delicious and presented beautifully. My veal chop however was mediocre at best. The pasta was very good. Dessert was excellent.

Fantastic place with outdoor tables under the lemon trees. The tagliatelle with snapper tasted like nothing, unfortunately... the service could be improved: they misserved two dishes from the next table.

We sat at the bar! Atmosphere relaxed and casual, the service was good, although they forgot to order our food for quite some time. Good selection of wines. The pizza is not a pizza, a chewy dry dough, no tomato sauce, and some ingredients on top. Come for the vibes and drinking, not eating.
