16/09/2025: ate yesterday for lunch, excellent staff but then the food was a scarpariello that mamma mia I can't tell you delicious and then SUPER RECOMMENDED FOR GLUTEN FREE everything taken care of and I assure you everything is safe pizzas and first course delicious I recommend it to you ps: also add gluten-free fried foods ❤️❤️❤️ I'll be back

14/09/2025: Superb pizza, light and made with excellent ingredients. Very friendly and helpful staff, affordable and competitive prices. As for the location, just say Naples (Spaccanapoli to be precise) and you'll already feel the wonder!

26/08/2025: Highly recommended restaurant, very nice location, even the outdoor one. We had a couple of appetizers, all very good and plentiful. The highlight is definitely the paella, really well made. The sangria was very reasonably priced, as was the entire bill. I recommend it for a Spanish-themed evening.

21/09/2025: Pizzeria Dal Soldino was already beautiful, but after the renovation, it's become even more welcoming and refined. The staff is fantastic: friendly, fast, and always smiling, they truly make the difference. The pizzas are delicious, with fresh ingredients and light dough, and everything else on the menu lives up to Neapolitan tradition. It's a guarantee every time: top-notch quality, flavor, and hospitality. A place that's constantly improving without losing its soul. Kudos to the entire staff!

21/09/2025: Rudest waiter of Naples….keeps mumbling ‘reserviert’ even though Italians without reservations get offered one of the many free tables.

29/09/2025: Absolutely amazing dinner. The host, chefs and owners are absolutely amazing. They treated us like family. When we come back to Italy from New York again. We will definitely be back. 06/10/2025: A small, quiet place offering good local home cooking, with a modest menu that's a sign of quality. Coffee isn't available... The owner is kind, friendly, and happy to explain the dishes. We went for dinner and returned for lunch.

10/10/2025: I’m really sorry, but how on earth does this restaurant have an average rating of 4.4 stars?! I don’t want to immediately give one star, because that feels a bit harsh — but honestly, that’s what it deserves. The service at this restaurant is truly disappointing. It’s absurd how long we had to wait before anyone even took our order. Meanwhile, another guest (a local, coincidentally) arrived much later but was helped right away. Even though he ordered after us, he received his food much earlier. I ordered the exact same dish, yet mine came much later. We arrived at 8:20 p.m. and weren’t able to place our order until 9:05 p.m. The first dish wasn’t served until 9:42 p.m. I was dining with friends, and they received their meals even later. So much for eating together — not exactly a pleasant experience. I hate to write such a negative review, and it might sound exaggerated, but unfortunately, every word is true. If the food had been amazing, I might have considered giving a higher rating because then the wait would’ve been worth it. Sadly, that wasn’t the case. Honestly, I dare say that I, as a Dutch person, could make better spaghetti and pizza myself — and that says something. At this point, I absolutely would not recommend eating here. I sincerely hope the restaurant reads this as constructive criticism. It’s not my intention to tear down a family business or scare away potential customers, but right now, both the quality and the service are simply below standard.

01/11/2024: A pranzo il 30-11-2024, 2 capresi, un dolce, una bottiglia d’acqua, un caffè 56 euro. Sinceramente mi sembra esagerato.

02/10/2025: Absolutely delicious lemon sorbet. The lemon flavour was so intense, i loved it. Was worth the 8 euro 12 euro if you want to dine in. Lots of other meal and drink choices too.

30/09/2025: I ordered a takeout sandwich. The description said mozzarella and Parma, but the photo showed tomato and basil. I took a bite. I got it with just ham. I went back, showed it to him, and they debated. The waiter took the roll away, then returned. I got the same bitten roll, with mozzarella. Still no tomato or basil. 13 euros.

14/10/2025: Inconsistent quality for consistently high prices. You have to remind yourself over and over again that you're paying for the location. The location is an absolute dream with amazing views from the (beachless) beach club and the hotel rooms. They offer drinks and snacks during the day which are consistently delicious and expensive (20€ for a Spritz or non-alcoholic cocktail). The hotel rooms do offer a great view from the balcony, but were also tiny, dusty (not cleaned under the bed) and you could hear everything your neighbors were doing. It was the only place without a rain shower in the bathroom during our 2-week stay in Italy, even though the room rate was the highest. We stayed here for 2 days and on the first day there was a wedding party in the location next door. They blasted very loud dance music from 2pm - 8pm which was deafening not only throughout the entire resort but also in the badly isolated hotel room. We complained multiple times and asked the service team for information how long this would continue. The service lady told us multiple times she would call and inform us but even after three requests and multiple hours just simply didn't do it. We had to leave the resort and get dinner somewhere else just to stop the noise. The next day we complained to the other service lady and she apologized and said they will do better next time. She offered nothing in return. As the day continued we would eventually get a free drink. While that is somewhat nice, it's just kind of a joke compared to a full day of techno terror and lying staff at your "eden resort". The food they serve is freshly made and of solid to high quality. We had several dishes on the menu, some of which were boring and mediocre, others were really nice. You pay 30€ for a small pasta with tomato sauce. Other service annoyances were a glass splinter they had overlooked at cleaning in the restaurant area and my partner stepped on, which lead to a 1cm deep cut in his foot. Some waitresses don't speak English. When I asked for joghurt with fruit at breakfast she said they didn't have that and then continued to serve the table next to us (a couple that spoke Italian) some joghurt with fruit. Some of the pools were always closed for some reason and at 7pm they asked us to leave the pools because they would be cleaned now (which didn't happen for the rest of the night). When I payed upon our departure, the three ladies at the reception were talking about my tip ("manchia") in Italian, but I don't know what exactly they said. When I asked what they were talking about, they said it was nothing. Overall this is a disappointing service team for a place that thinks itself to be a high-class beach resort. The place clearly is a beach bar first and a hotel second. Having a fantastic location alone just doesn't make up for a badly trained service team in which some are doing their best while others are lying, joking about guests or simply refusing to do their job. UPDATE: The owners of the place are now even lying in their answer to my review and even insinuating I was lying... This interaction just seamlessly continues the experience we had at your resort. This would disappointing anywhere, but it's just highly inappropriate in a place in this price range.

12/10/2025: Hostpitality at its best. Since our arrival by the boat we felt like in „White lotus”. Each member of Giardino Eden team was smiling, helpful, kind and spoke great English. The food is amazing at any time of the day (breakfast, beachclub menu, dinner), the room had everything we needed and offered a great seaview, even the playlist was spot on. Great to see the heritage of Mr Ugo Germani, who created this place, is cherished and continued. We spent there one of the best weekends ever and definitely will be back!

Anna's photoshoot was truly professional and talented! She immediately put me at ease and captured the most natural moments. The photos are stunning, candid, and meticulously detailed. Highly recommended!

13/09/2025: The restaurant is typically Italian and beautiful in the front, but the back is more like a campsite restaurant. The waiter, a bit edgy (presumably the owner), is the same as he was 7 years ago. The food is delicious. The prices are reasonable. I had pasta Bolognese, and my wife had stuffed ravioli and a zucchini blossom as a starter. We will be back. Tip: Make a reservation in advance!

24/07/2025: The passion of these two young men is truly contagious. Everything was simply perfect: from the homemade bread to the appetizers, from the first to the second courses... and what about the desserts? A true delight! The wine list is amazing, carefully curated and full of interesting options. The quality of the food is excellent; you can taste the love in every dish. I just wish I had them near my house! Highly recommended. See you soon, guys!

04/05/2025: Small place a little out of the way for tourists but where you can eat excellent fish. We went specifically for the raw food and were very satisfied. The pasta with beans and red prawns is also excellent

17/09/2025: Food was delicious and the view was absolutely fantastic. This is absolutly a must stop whil driving the Amalfi coast. Be careful if they park your car. They lost our keys. Because the car was started we drove off without them - what a hassle that turned out to be

14/10/2025: I chose Hydra to celebrate my second child's baptism because I had already enjoyed the excellent cuisine and the refined, elegant location. Everything lived up to my expectations, from the friendly and helpful staff to the excellent and beautifully presented food. Kudos to the owner, Marco, and his staff, who made the day special and met everyone's needs admirably.
