14/06/2026: Beautiful views. My nephew had his wedding and wedding reception there they did wonderful job.. make sure you take your camera because the view is unbelievable

07/08/2026: We were in Naples for the Litfiba concert at the Arena Flegrea. We had an appetizer and two pizzas that were marvelous in flavor and lightness, one bottle of water and half a bottle of wine. We arrived around 8:00 PM, and only two tables were occupied. By 8:15 PM, the place was full and we were all heading to the concert... and the waiter exclaimed, "Wow, has Pino Daniele been resurrected?" Fast and friendly service, a relaxed, family atmosphere, and a price of €43. Absolutely right! A must-try.

20/08/2026: I'm giving it three stars because I haven't had the pleasure of eating at Bella Napoli. It definitely deserves five, and I'll change it once I've tried it in person. I tried calling and making a reservation at 7:00 PM for the same evening, and a table was available at 10:30 PM. I went two nights ago and there was never a table, so I assume it's a place worth trying. If I return to Ischia, it'll be on my list.

18/08/2026: I've been there twice. The first time I tried his delicious pizzas, and the second time I tried his seafood pizzas. I can assure you, it was all about the love and the smell of the sea. The owner is a gentleman. See you soon.

11/08/2026: Amazing views of Positano. Food was amazing (get the whole fish it is worth it) Friendly service and great drinks. Have come back here a few times everytime we are in Positano.

09/08/2026: The pizza and food are not excellent quality, average price, service is a bit slow, but the atmosphere is excellent, convenient parking, friendly staff, fantastic terrace and beautiful view to enjoy on cool summer evenings.

08/08/2026: We were here with a tour group. We were offered a farmer's platter. Totally overpriced for just a few extra things. We wanted to order a pizza instead. We were refused, told we had to have the farmer's platter. If I want a pizza, I don't want a €20 farmer's platter (half of which I don't eat), I want a pizza. So we just didn't order anything at all. What's the big deal about putting a pizza in the oven? The excuse about the group size of 20 people doesn't hold water. Every restaurant often has to serve more than 20 people at once, and they don't tell you what to eat. We also went to other restaurants with the group that offered a choice of two dishes. If we wanted to eat something different, it was never a problem.

21/05/2026: What a gem! Lovely place with terrific view. The service was the best and friendliest we’ve had since visiting Italy. Dinner and breakfast was wonderful! Great chef.

15/08/2026: A restaurant where you can dine among lemon trees. The atmosphere is fantastic. I tried the lemon pasta, which isn't on the menu but they'll make it for you if you ask. It was refreshing, but not so delicious that I'd want to eat it again and again.

15/08/2026: La Zagara is enchanting! The atmosphere is so beautiful surrounded by beautiful lemon trees and lush vegetable gardens. The service may be the best I ever encountered in my many travels. The food is delicious, we had Sea Bass and a special Cod dish, both outstanding! Everything is prepared to perfection. Bravo to the chefs! We ended with a fantastic lemon dessert the was beyond words! Lastly if you are a wine drinker you will love their extensive collection and we really appreciated the wine sommeliers help in our selection. Thank you to everyone at the restaurant for making a beautiful evening for us. And thank you to the owner Marcello Pollio for welcoming us and sharing your passion for hospitality, food & wine!

18/03/2026: I came here for an event with a club on my birthday, it was €30 and I couldn’t believe all the food that they served. The food was very good. Everything fresh a big area for parties. The place was very organized. The people that worked there were very good waitresses and waiters the locals know this place they have Weddings there . It’s been open for many years. It’s a well-known restaurant in the area.A++++ Excellent everything

23/06/2026: Phenomenal restaurant that was recommended to me by a local. We had a wonderful time here, as the servers are pleasant and engaging, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is relaxing.

07/06/2026: Very elegant place, qualified staff, well-decorated food, but personally, with little seasoning and a meager portion. I spent €100 for two people, which seemed excessive for what I ate, especially for the taste and quantity. I can make this comparison because I frequent other restaurants comparable to Maroder, and I've eaten much better in other places for the same price. My review is intended to be constructive towards the owner, because he has a beautiful place that can offer more and provide a better experience for customers, for a clientele that spends because here they spend! In the end, you offer a beautiful place with a warm welcome, but the customer wants to eat and not feast! Also because, I repeat, I paid. An appetizer with two trivialities was €16, a pasta dish was €18, a practically white risotto was €16, and then drinks with a cover charge and a measly dessert was €7. So, I pay, but I don't want to feel like I'm being pushed around! Then the waiter, as soon as he sees that you have finished your meal, makes you nervous, either you order or you leave, and the place was half empty. 😐

17/05/2026: Very friendly welcome. Excellent pizzas, very good desserts. Smiling and efficient waiters. Very affordable prices. Everything is there for a pleasant time. Lovely decor inside and a terrace overlooking Bovio Square.

26/07/2026: We wanted to eat pizza and watch the World Cup final at the same time. That was possible here because a television was ready for us. From the very first moment we entered, we felt that we were not very welcome. We do our best, but we don't speak Italian. We manage perfectly well everywhere else because the Italian people are friendly and do their best to work things out together. Not here. We had to do our best to get a table somewhat close to the television. We really weren't allowed to get any closer; we thought that maybe a lot of people would come to watch, but that wasn't the case. Exactly 4, who were indeed allowed to sit right at the front and were indeed watching. We could easily have sat right behind them. When ordering, things constantly went wrong because people were rushing and nothing was written down. Why there was a rush is unclear; it wasn't busy, and we were the first ones inside. The food was tasty; we finished it, including the fish antipasto that we hadn't ordered. Things went wrong again with the dessert; there were 2 desserts from the bakery on the menu: 1 ice cream, 1 patisserie. We asked for the latter and got... ice cream. Afterwards, we saw beautiful pastries being served at the table by the TV. We called the waiter over again and pointed to their desserts. Another lot of hassle, and eventually we got...... 2 frozen desserts from Aldi. Apparently, the restaurant only had 2 desserts in stock for all the guests for the entire evening...? Not credible. That, combined with downright unfriendly treatment from the owner, and his son—who was slightly friendlier in his forced haste but also regularly stood deliberately right in our line of sight to the TV—makes it a very disappointing experience. I maintained my dignity and gave an unearned tip anyway. Perhaps the owner can use it to go eat elsewhere sometime soon to learn what friendliness and hospitality are. Response to the owner: I am sorry that you have a restaurant where you can only eat with a reservation, even when the place is completely empty. I am also sorry that you and your staff did not have a little more time and friendliness to resolve our language barrier together. We manage that everywhere in Italy; it just takes some effort from both sides and help from Google. Then you would have understood that we didn't want ice cream. I am sorry that you are so poor that you only have 2 desserts in stock, and that in your response you do not write about your unfriendly service, but do complain about two cheap supermarket desserts in plastic containers. I don't need to go to the Netherlands to eat in a fancy restaurant; I have already eaten deliciously here in beautiful Italy in many simple trattorias with wonderful, hospitable people who are happy that we drove 1,500 km to get to know them.

30/05/2026: Delightful experience!! Love this place!! Best people!! The most charming apricot tablecloths and napkins and photos of beloved patrons living the wood paneled walls. We had a beautiful lunch of pizza, broccolini, bruschetta, and tiramisu. Everything delicious and made with soul. So much heart in this restaurant. Not to be missed.

24/05/2026: Tourist restaurant, but what struck me was the rudeness of one of the waiters who “literally” asked us to leave something for the service and, not happy, at the end of the evening (11.40pm) he “kindly” made us get up saying: “gentlemen, do you want to finish with us?”
