04/05/2026: I went to Esperia this evening for my birthday dinner, and I was quite disappointed. The location was breathtaking, but the food absolutely couldn't compete. We started off quite well with an appetizer consisting of various tastings—nothing exceptional, but good. As for the entrees, things took a turn for the worse, with a truly unpleasant nerano and a tasteless tagliolini with butter and truffle. The dessert was also nothing to write home about. It's a shame because the restaurant itself is truly beautiful and the service is good.
03/05/2026: A very elegant restaurant with a breathtaking view from the terrace, where you can dine. The food is truly delicious; the appetizers are highly recommended. The first courses are also excellent (I had the Genovese), and the grilled meats are varied and high-quality. The restaurant is part of the Slow Food network. The wine list is also very good, and the service is impeccable. The quality-price ratio is excellent.

14/06/2026: great for lunch and dinner! very authentic, out of the touristy hustle and bustle of lower positano, very relaxed and lots of locals.
12/06/2026: We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Il Grottino Azzurro. The fresh homemade bread and olive oil were the perfect start to an amazing meal. The food was delicious, the quality outstanding, and the service exceptional. We were picked up by their shuttle bus and enjoyed a lovely walk back afterwards. A perfect evening in Positano, highly recommended.

11/04/2026: I rarely write reviews, but here we got exactly what we were looking for in Ischia. Traditional dishes, prepared traditionally. There were no trained waiters or forced smiles. It was a homey, cozy atmosphere and amazing dishes, "just like grandma used to make." No burgers, no fast food. Delicious peasant soup with porcini mushrooms, pasta prepared as if you were eating for yourself, not for a tourist, and amazing Ischian-style rabbit. Large portions at low prices.
A truly atmospheric restaurant, preserving the traditions of local cuisine. Thank goodness such establishments still exist.

19/05/2026: I discovered "Tre Farine" thanks to the B&B where I was staying. Breakfast was served early in this elegant establishment. When I discovered it was also a restaurant and pizzeria, I booked for lunch. The dishes were beautifully presented and meticulously executed. The fried food was fantastic, very light thanks in part to the expert use of "Tre Farine."
19/05/2026: A very elegant place, but without excess or a dress code. You can taste the quality of the products, starting with the yeast. The gluten-free products are also very good.

15/05/2026: Ettore, an old-fashioned restaurant and pizzeria on Via Santa Lucia. Wood-fired oven, assorted fish and fried dishes. I highly recommend it; in touristy Naples, you can eat well, but few can boast of being an Antico Ristorante.

03/05/2026: My wife and I stayed at the property for two days during a training event. The location is very quaint with a fabulous view. The property is a bit dated, but it offers comfortable, clean rooms and bathrooms with everything you need for a relaxing few days. We took advantage of the half-board option at a fair price. The owners provide good-quality, complimentary cuisine. The owner is very friendly, and the staff is efficient and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful.

The setting is lovely; I adored the barrel with the candles and wax, but they weren't lit last night.
As for the food: my partner ordered lemon pasta, which was very good.
I wanted a Capri salad with tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella. They explained that everything had been served but that they would make something for me...
I was disappointed with the dish: the tomatoes were barely ripe, and the buffalo mozzarella had been replaced with slices of smoked mozzarella. It was hard. And the taste wasn't to my liking. Just a drizzle of olive oil for seasoning.
The drinks are quite expensive. Expect to pay €4 for a 75ml bottle of sparkling water.
I thought I would get a discount on my meal... We paid full price.
There's also an additional €8.50 service charge for two people.
14/05/2026: So disappointed the service was excellent and ambience good but overpriced and underdelivered. I enjoyed the courgette flower starter but the parmigiana was a lump with no sauce and so heavy. Cod puttenesca so salty and had to send back as pasta barely cooked and lukewarm. Second one was better but so salty. Had to try the tiramasu but was so dry not enough liquid to soak. Our last night in Naples was not the best sadly

16/02/2026: At Maeba, we spent a delightful evening trying the six-course tasting menu, which, although at the chef's discretion, took into account our preferences indicated at the time of booking.
The experience was very positive, focusing on vegetables and "humble" yet surprisingly enhanced ingredients: pumpkin, fennel, carrot, artichoke, and mushrooms. All the dishes offered were original, enjoyable, and well-balanced. Special mention goes to the appetizer with fennel, almond fondue, and lemon and orange gel; to the main course, pork tenderloin with charred leek cream and fried artichoke; and, last but not least, the tartlet with Annurca apple, almond cream, and cinnamon. The setting is very characteristic, nestled in the countryside, inside a restored old olive oil mill. The service is characterized by the utmost attention to guests, who are truly pampered, given that the restaurant has only four tables. The owner/waiter immediately made us feel at ease, engaging in a pleasant conversation where we could share our opinions on each dish we tasted. Furthermore, the fact that each new dish was a surprise made the tasting experience more interesting and less predictable, especially since the surprises that followed were all original and very tasty.
The price was absolutely fair considering the quality, variety, and length of the menu. Overall, a highly recommended experience that I would definitely like to repeat.

11/05/2026: Courtesy and professionalism reign supreme in the service, both from the waiters and the sommelier's knowledge of the wines offered.
The restaurant is beautiful, meticulously maintained down to the smallest detail.
The chef is truly skilled; he has his own identity that shines through in his dishes (both iconic and otherwise).
The ingredients are top-quality.
I've been to this restaurant twice: the first time I took the highly appreciated tasting menu, and the second time I took a masterclass on Super Tuscan and Brunello accompanied by food by Chef Avallone, which was also very, very interesting.
The star is more than deserved!!
I'll leave you with a quote of mine: "There's wisdom in the dishes."

The interior is meticulously crafted, modern yet welcoming, with a few well-spaced tables. There's also a refined wine display on the wall.
The staff accompanied us through our lunch impeccably, professionally, knowledgeably, and with just the right amount of formality.
What wouldn't you expect from a restaurant like this? Popcorn! Elevated to a Michelin-starred level.
From the entree to the dessert, the dishes were carefully crafted and carefully planned, each ingredient's flavors perfectly complementing the other, and overall, there was excellent balance.
The wine pairing was sublime. The sommelier suggested some truly unusual pairings, demonstrating her expertise and professionalism.
A highly recommended restaurant, capable of providing memorable experiences and flavors.

17/05/2026: The pizza is very delicious and the choices of pizzas available are overwhelming. Many different tastes and all very creative. The ingredient are really fresh and the pizza extremely well cooked. We took the Contadina and the DOC.
The contadina: the artichoke cream was incredibly tasty and the pairing with the speck absolutely fantastic. Taste is very well balanced with tendency to salty (because of the speck).
The DOC: is a margherita with the buffalo mozzarella. Both, mozzarella and tomato paste were extremely tasty and fresh.
The add on of a very small buffalo mozzarella in the middle of every pizza is a really nice touch. The dough is very well done and easy to digest.

05/05/2026: Amazing. The view, the staff, the food. We laid out and swam in the sea for hours. It can be a bit difficult to get to since we had to take two buses, but we had the whole place all to ourselves, so well worth it! We also ate lunch here and had the sea bream which was incredible. Highly recommend.

26/12/2025: Very nice place, with a great view, and good food. It's a shame the owner is a rascal. Last New Year's Eve, he emailed us a quote for New Year's Eve, which didn't match the price he actually charged us—DOUBLE the price. He didn't even apologize for the mistake, blaming his young employee, oblivious to the fact that, as the owner, he should be responsible for everything. People like that are only to be pitied, poor things!

08/06/2026: Good food, good pizza, friendly, helpful service. The only noise you can hear is from the street, but there's nothing you can do about it. It's worth eating here if you're in the area. Lots of locals eat here.
