02/09/2025: We were there in August, very friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, on a lawn with lots of lights, good food, prices in line with the season

15/07/2025: The atmosphere was very welcoming; I noticed the overall cleanliness of the interior and the well-kept garden outside. We had bruschetta and pizza, mostly local ingredients, all very good. The pizza was delicious, very light, truly delicious, worthy of being called Neapolitan pizza. The waiters were very kind, very knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. We will be back as promised.

06/09/2025: Top pizza, very friendly staff, but go on an empty stomach; the pizzas and other deli items are super topped! 😉 Good value for money.

23/08/2025: Good pizza, but nothing exceptional, standard contemporary Neapolitan fare. Considering we're in a small mountain village near Salerno, the pizza was good, with a soft, digestible, hydrated dough and good-quality ingredients. Obviously, anyone who's already used to eating this product will find it a standard pizza. Anyone who only tries this here will find the product excellent. The service is a bit inattentive to customer needs.

01/11/2025: We've experienced some amazing restaurants while touring Italy, but this restaurant is one of the best. The owners obviously love good food and prepared our dishes with great taste and care. My bean soup was excellent and my husband's ravioli with seafood was excellent, a culinary delight! The dessert "tartelletta scomposta" was over-the-top delectable! A great surprise a short walk from the train station! Try it!

12/10/2025: The Il Pecchero was like raw (not Al dente) pasta swimming in a thin fish soup. The pasta almost cracked when eating it. The meal was very small, merely an appetizer. The chef came mid-meal to question us not drinking anything else than water with a bitter grin. This was definitely not worth the money nor the 6€ service fee. There are plenty of better places around to dine at :)

07/11/2025: The food is good, but you can't choose from the menu. They tell you what you're getting. But you can taste the tradition in the dishes. I recommend it.

27/10/2025: stumbled across this place by pure luck. We were there when it opened at 1300 (by 1320 it was full). Set menu (with 4 choices) fantastic value and full of flavour. Well worth going to but be there as it opens or you'll be waiting a while. Only a few tables. V good value - 80 euros for four people (1st course, 2nd course and side dish), one desert and one large carafe of wine

08/10/2025: Great food, you gotta take a water taxi there, it’s free with their shuttle with red fish at certain times but if you wanna leave early like us gotta pay for way back 30E. Well worth it tho, rustic local cuisine, friendly service. Polpo salad was delish.

30/09/2025: The boat transfer is a mini trip in itself and a nice way to see Positano and the surrounding area from the water. A nice beach for swimming. In my opinion they shouldn't charge extra for their deck chairs, but the Italian's overcharge for every possible opportunity, which they should improve upon. We had a few different grilled seafood dishes and they were excellent. The side of grilled vegetables was small. Overall a nice day out. It's a minimum half day activity as the return only starts from 4 pm.

14/10/2025: Inconsistent quality for consistently high prices. You have to remind yourself over and over again that you're paying for the location. The location is an absolute dream with amazing views from the (beachless) beach club and the hotel rooms. They offer drinks and snacks during the day which are consistently delicious and expensive (20€ for a Spritz or non-alcoholic cocktail). The hotel rooms do offer a great view from the balcony, but were also tiny, dusty (not cleaned under the bed) and you could hear everything your neighbors were doing. It was the only place without a rain shower in the bathroom during our 2-week stay in Italy, even though the room rate was the highest. We stayed here for 2 days and on the first day there was a wedding party in the location next door. They blasted very loud dance music from 2pm - 8pm which was deafening not only throughout the entire resort but also in the badly isolated hotel room. We complained multiple times and asked the service team for information how long this would continue. The service lady told us multiple times she would call and inform us but even after three requests and multiple hours just simply didn't do it. We had to leave the resort and get dinner somewhere else just to stop the noise. The next day we complained to the other service lady and she apologized and said they will do better next time. She offered nothing in return. As the day continued we would eventually get a free drink. While that is somewhat nice, it's just kind of a joke compared to a full day of techno terror and lying staff at your "eden resort". The food they serve is freshly made and of solid to high quality. We had several dishes on the menu, some of which were boring and mediocre, others were really nice. You pay 30€ for a small pasta with tomato sauce. Other service annoyances were a glass splinter they had overlooked at cleaning in the restaurant area and my partner stepped on, which lead to a 1cm deep cut in his foot. Some waitresses don't speak English. When I asked for joghurt with fruit at breakfast she said they didn't have that and then continued to serve the table next to us (a couple that spoke Italian) some joghurt with fruit. Some of the pools were always closed for some reason and at 7pm they asked us to leave the pools because they would be cleaned now (which didn't happen for the rest of the night). When I payed upon our departure, the three ladies at the reception were talking about my tip ("manchia") in Italian, but I don't know what exactly they said. When I asked what they were talking about, they said it was nothing. Overall this is a disappointing service team for a place that thinks itself to be a high-class beach resort. The place clearly is a beach bar first and a hotel second. Having a fantastic location alone just doesn't make up for a badly trained service team in which some are doing their best while others are lying, joking about guests or simply refusing to do their job. UPDATE: The owners of the place are now even lying in their answer to my review and even insinuating I was lying... This interaction just seamlessly continues the experience we had at your resort. This would disappointing anywhere, but it's just highly inappropriate in a place in this price range.

12/10/2025: Hostpitality at its best. Since our arrival by the boat we felt like in „White lotus”. Each member of Giardino Eden team was smiling, helpful, kind and spoke great English. The food is amazing at any time of the day (breakfast, beachclub menu, dinner), the room had everything we needed and offered a great seaview, even the playlist was spot on. Great to see the heritage of Mr Ugo Germani, who created this place, is cherished and continued. We spent there one of the best weekends ever and definitely will be back!

05/10/2025: WOW! 10/10 - Mariella is an amazing cook and presented us all her creations to choose from. We had a variety of Appetizers from Bruschetta to fried Ricotta-Lemon balls and for the main courses the Pasta Genovese and Slow-cooked beef in red wine. Probably the best we have ever had! To accomplish she recommended a very suiting wine and we finished of with Nutella cake and almond-chocolate cake. Wonderful last night of our trip to Italy. Thanks again and hopefully see you soon again! ❤️

This place is constantly evolving and innovating in terms of cuisine and events, while maintaining its core values: professionalism, originality, hospitality, and authenticity! At the refuge, you feel right at home; it's a unique place! Isa and Cesare are wonderful!

12/11/2025: Excellent pizzeria where they use additive-free flours and mix type 0 and type 2 flours in the dough. The eponymous pizza, with its ricotta-filled crust, is memorable. Quality ingredients and very fair prices.
