A good restaurant where in some rooms you can eat and see the antiques thanks to the glass floor. Worth a try.

An excellent experience in every way. I was invited, but I plan to return for another delicious gastronomic-cultural experience. The food was excellent, the service was commendable, and the location was extraordinary. The exterior was also beautiful.

“Villa Elvira is one of those places that amazes you from the first moment: an oasis of elegance in Pozzuoli where every detail is attended to with rare dedication.” Beyond the excellent lunch, what makes Villa Elvira truly special is the service: impeccable, punctual, and extraordinarily attentive. The staff doesn't just do their job, they also manage to make every guest feel truly welcomed. The Villa Elvira team is simply excellent: knowledgeable, smiling, and able to anticipate guests' needs with ease. Rarely do you find such a harmonious and professional group. The lunch was tasty and beautifully presented, but what really made the difference was the way each course was served and explained. I recommend Villa Elvira to anyone looking not only for good food, but a complete experience, where the human touch and quality of service reach excellent levels. GIANCARLO & LISA

Napoli 1820

01/05/2026: We visited Napoli 1820 in Naples on our last night in Italy, looking for a place that felt special, traditional, and full of flavor — and this charming little restaurant near our Airbnb delivered a truly memorable experience. From the outside, the restaurant immediately caught our attention: small, cozy, and beautifully traditional, with a warm atmosphere that invites you in. Inside, the ambiance continues in the same spirit — it’s a place where you see families gathering, locals enjoying their meals, and a genuine sense that this is a well-loved spot. We were warmly welcomed by a very kind and friendly waiter, especially attentive and sweet with our daughter, which made us feel comfortable right away. 🥖 Starter We began with a bruschetta topped with fresh tomatoes, which was incredibly refreshing. The tomatoes had a bright flavor with a noticeable hint of lemon, making it light, vibrant, and a perfect way to start the meal. 🍝 Main Courses The highlight of the evening — without any doubt — was the gnocchi alla Sorrentina, ordered by our daughter. This dish was simply outstanding. The tomato sauce had a rich, slightly smoky depth, and the overall flavor was unforgettable. For vegetarians, this is easily one of the best choices on the menu — comforting, authentic, and absolutely delicious. My husband ordered penne with a creamy cheese and pepper sauce, which was also excellent — rich, well-balanced, and full of flavor. As for me, I chose a Greek salad. It came with small mozzarella balls instead of feta, which was a bit surprising and slightly disappointing. The seasoning was quite simple — lemon and salt — which seems to be common in the area. While it wasn’t bad, I would have preferred a more flavorful mix of greens (perhaps something like arugula instead of iceberg lettuce). That said, the grilled zucchini added a nice touch, and overall it did the job of bringing some freshness and vegetables into a meal that can otherwise be quite carb-heavy in Italy. 🍨 Dessert To finish, we shared a mandarin gelato, which was absolutely delightful — fresh, light, and the perfect portion to end the evening without feeling too full. 🌿 Atmosphere & Service The atmosphere is warm, authentic, and very family-oriented, making it a lovely place to enjoy a relaxed meal. You can tell this restaurant has history and heart behind it. Service was mostly very good, especially at the beginning. However, there was a moment where the experience felt slightly inconsistent. One of the waiters seemed less willing to help us — particularly when we asked in French- Spanish for a bit of lemon juice to mix with water for our daughter. His attitude felt a bit distant, and not very accommodating. He pretended not to understand us BUT didn’t make the effort to tell us that he spoke English!!! So made us wait for this and a long time for asking for dessert- he was just arranging around instead of coming directly to us after so long waiting for the menu knowing it was already very late. Interestingly, toward the end of our meal, one of the owners appeared, and the overall energy shifted. His presence was reassuring and brought back the warm, welcoming feeling we had at the start. It felt like the kind of place where the owners truly care about the experience they offer. ✨ Napoli 1820 is a beautiful, traditional restaurant that delivers authentic flavors and a heartfelt atmosphere. Despite a small inconsistency in service, the food — especially the gnocchi — and the overall experience made it a perfect choice for our final night in Italy. A place we would gladly recommend, especially for families and anyone looking for a genuine taste of Naples. 🇮🇹🍝✨
19/04/2026: The best pizza I ever had! Perfect crust, perfect amount of ingredients, fresh and flavored. However, I was disapointed about the chicken used for my salad. Seemed frozen and had no flavour at all. While dinning alone the staff made me feel comfortable. Everyone was very friendly and the atmosphere is chill, highly recommended. House wine is great too and the desert to die for!
