Mr. Gino and his wife, along with their staff, are the true soul and driving force behind everything. First, I want to talk about the "human" side of this place: it's one of the few remaining restaurants of the Italian and Neapolitan tradition. The warm welcome and friendly service make you feel instantly at home, along with the expertise and skill behind the stove. It's the place you go to experience traditional cuisine, solid and reassuring, where you know you can trust the advice on what to choose. No experimental cuisine or contemporary reinterpretations, just the freshest ingredients and a wealth of experience. We began with an appetizer of incredibly fresh, flavorful fish, followed by two extraordinary first courses: a creamy, enveloping pasta with potatoes and provola cheese, and a masterfully prepared Genovese, intense and flavorful as tradition demands.
