18/01/2025: I have eaten at this place for two days and the new management is excellent. First class service and delicious food. I recommend the Cavatelli and the Angus Tagliata. 14/01/2025: Mi spiace scrivere della mia esperienza deludente ma purtroppo nulla è andato bene. Il ristorante è bellissimo, cucina a vista arredo in grande stile, tavola senza tovagliato come ormai è solito nel locali alla moda. Fino a qui tutto bene Personale gentile, nulla da dire. Veniamo al cibo. 1 se opti per una cucina a vista devi poterla gestire. Non possono esserci dei bambini in cucina che si prendono da mangiare o si versano acqua, che vanno avanti e indietro lasciando zaini nel corridoio che porta ai bagni. E lo dico da mamma, per farvi capire che a me i bambini piacciono ma ci sono contesti in cui non vanno bene. La proprietaria che entra a metà pranzo con la busta della coop per portare qualcosa in cucina. Gente che entra ed esce...2 se hanno imposto le cuffiette per i capelli per cucinare, un motivo c'è e se non la si usa il rischio di trovare qualcosa di indesiderato nel piatto è alto. A noi è successo due volte nello stesso pranzo. Aprire la lasagna chiusa e trovare un capello, non è molto piacevole. Siete un bello staff e vale la pena migliorarsi perché il locale lo merita. I miei vogliono essere consigli, spero utili per raggiungere la qualità degna del locale

08/02/2025: When we arrived in Matera we had booked a few days before. They welcomed us discreetly and made us sit in the mezzanine room. Nice place, fast service, however after a few minutes we ordered A Broad bean and chicory with fried onion and a Fried Matera consisting of Lampascioni, ricotta, cod, artichokes and bran, both excellent as first courses, an Orecchiette with turnip greens, anchovies and fried breadcrumbs, bran, and Spaghetto alla guitar with red prawns, lemon, prized truffle (this perhaps a little too much lime) accompanied by a Malvasia Lucana, tiramisu and meringues with almonds and bitters and coffee... I count a little more than 50 euros each... a good experience

07/02/2025: Restaurant with a simple environment, such as furnishings and premises. Unfortunately a little cold, perhaps due to the height of the rooms. Excellent welcome with warm bread and locally produced extra virgin olive oil. Good and particular mixed starter, first course a little lacking in seasoning (mussels and clams), but of quality. Excellent wine. Friendly and helpful staff.

05/01/2025: Not really a place to recommend for various reasons, of lack of communication between the kitchen and the dining room first and foremost, unprofessional waiters, raw meat sent back to the kitchen for the same reason, beer finished at 8pm on Saturday evening both in bottles and on tap, bill of Randomly made pizzas average according to the waiter. So not to be recommended.

04/01/2025: I recommend this location: the location of the restaurant is suggestive and characteristic, excellent food, excellent and courteous service. Every customer is welcomed with a smile. Scenography and furnishings that go well with the room created from an old water collection tank. A stop not to be missed when visiting Matera.

07/02/2025: If you are looking for a restaurant that combines excellent traditional cuisine with a welcoming, family atmosphere, I recommend 900 - Casa Taccardi. As soon as you enter, you can feel a warm and welcoming atmosphere, thanks also to the kind and always smiling staff. The offer of dishes ranges from those typical of Matera cuisine to innovative fine dining ones with the only constant being refined and excellent quality ingredients. I recommend the pignata, a dish with a convivial and overwhelming flavour....

03/02/2025: A fantastic restaurant a stone's throw from the Sassi. A very relaxing atmosphere and the food is really delicious. Definitely the best place we stayed in Matera. With The Fork we then took advantage of a pretty good discount. Very highly recommended!

16/02/2025: An intimate and welcoming place, it feels like you have always been there thanks to the attentive, fast service and a pleasant touch of friendliness. We ate an appetizer that alone could have constituted lunch and dinner! First tops (the crapiata... mouth-watering up to the nape of the neck). We will definitely be back to try other dishes.
