02/04/2025: Pizza nothing special... They had feared it as a pizza lady but honestly it didn't drive me crazy, for desserts I had a sorbet... tasteless

28/10/2025: Very disappointed by this highly-rated restaurant. The starter and main course were very good... but as for the dessert, don't bother, it was really disappointing... just ordinary. The waiter only spoke to men, blatantly ignoring women. The price was far too high for the overall quality.

30/09/2025: Absolutely nothing to say about the venue, a little less about the owners who, only after having booked and paid a deposit months in advance, 4 days before my son's communion, were told that I had to leave the room at 6:30 pm because they had another event in the evening, obviously after having protested because such a thing absolutely does not exist or at least inform the customers when they bring the deposit since there is an organization also for us parents for such an important day. I was told to look for another venue if I was not happy and that we had not understood each other, in fact that it was I who had to inform them because mine was a private event and I had to pay an extra €3000 if I wanted the venue all for myself because then they could not take the evening event which I was not even aware of so I cancelled and looked and luckily I found another venue where they did not give me a time as it should be because one pays but the disappointment for how they behaved is truly speechless!

18/09/2025: If I could, I'd give it zero stars. Four days before the event, they changed my room, putting me outside, and also claimed that the other client had higher priority, even though we had booked and paid the deposit for that room. I repeat, four days before. Their reliability and professionalism were zero. If you don't want any last-minute surprises, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Trust me.

26/08/2025: We spent fourteen days at this residence, but unfortunately, we were very disappointed. Starting with the sewer smell in the room every day, which they explained to us was due to nearby drains (I would have liked to know this before arriving). The cleanliness of the rooms needs to be improved, the sheets sometimes had holes in them, and sometimes they weren't changed. The breakfast service was terrible for a 4-star hotel, so much so that we only used it for a few days, then we left. There's little supervision from the staff in general throughout the property. The location is beautiful, but poorly managed. Our holiday was saved by the lounge bar area, where we were pampered with delicious cocktails and platters. The staff were kind and super helpful. The beach is very beautiful, but in Calabria, when it comes to the sea, there's not much to say; it's a shame about everything else. It's a property we definitely won't return to.

25/08/2025: So, a hotel of this standard in terms of cleanliness disappointed me: dirty bathroom, fixtures full of limescale, closets full of dust. The owners were unfriendly, not at all sociable, never smiled, except for the daughter-in-law with the child who smiled and said hello. Then let's not even talk about the water at the table, which wasn't included. In no other hotel have I ever paid for water at the table. Are you kidding? Not even a jug. I will never return, without some entertainment, without a piano bar in the evening. The food was pretty good, but €2.50 for water with half board is unbearable. I was disappointed because it's a beautiful hotel with an excellent location, but it's not at all valued and is also expensive for the services it offers.

29/09/2025: For those who always have complaints... this is certainly not the place to argue about quality/price. And above all... a kind, friendly welcome, despite our repeated, personal experience: a gaggle of children who are truly impatient. Not for everyone, I'd say. Generous portions, fast service with a full restaurant, top-notch pizza and modest prices in a pleasant setting, both inside and, especially, outside when the weather permits, making it even more valuable. Unquestionable management, and for what it's worth... well done, and thank you!!!

26/08/2025: Recommended by our host, we tried it and were not disappointed. Good quality appetizers, excellent wild boar pici, as were the truffle gnocchi. Rustic location with a spectacular pergola garden. Dessert needs updating, but overall excellent.

19/10/2025: We were there last night and ordered two Romagna menus... (I should point out that there was a choice of two first and two second courses.) A cold cuts appetizer (lots of thinly sliced ​​fried gnocchi), two soups (a sampling), a second course, the grill, and another second course. We were told that since the grill had a bit of everything, there was no choice of another dish (they brought us a small sausage, a small piece of loin, and a small piece of chicken breast, not a rib or bacon; I can even do without it in the chicken grill), roast potatoes... then a plate with many desserts filled with cream, mascarpone, etc., a bottle of wine (good), water, and coffee for a total of €30 per person (obviously the minimum menu for two people). The portions were small, but since there was a tasting menu, I thought this menu would be enough for dinner. Instead, it was very poor. Our friends ordered a first course, a second course, and a side dish. However, the portions were small, the place was very nice and rustic, I definitely won't be returning!!

18/10/2025: A historic trattoria that has been serving traditional Romagna fare for decades. Excellent value for money in an old-fashioned but quaint setting. Service is provided by attentive, fast, and tireless waiters (the restaurant has an outdoor area and a basement with stairs).

11/11/2025: Excellent pizzas, the best I've had in Treviso. Good value. Small and pleasant atmosphere. Note for improvement: Waiter takes a while to take orders.

06/11/2025: A typical pizzeria renowned in the city, serving good pizza. The staff is friendly and helpful. Not many seats, usually crowded.

04/11/2025: I was here for dinner, and I had a braised octopus terrine, which wasn't anything special. The octopus was good, but the dish itself was bland and a bit bland. For €18, I definitely expected more. Luckily, the Sardinian fregula with shellfish elevated the dinner; it was tasty, well-made, and I recommend it. The service was attentive and well-timed. The overall quality is there, but the prices are a bit high, and some of the preparation could be improved.

23/09/2025: It's a place that really struck me, for the atmosphere, the cuisine and the garden that makes it special.

12/09/2025: Lunch break with colleagues; there's no business menu, but a decently priced dish is available. We tried the pork tenderloin, which was a bit dry, but it was accompanied by a truly delicious mint ratatouille.

02/11/2025: Very nice restaurant, nice spaces and well managed. The prices are reasonable and the dishes are delicious, you can taste that the ingredients are top quality. Everything is really excellent, we will definitely be back.

25/10/2025: I returned after a while, and I have to say I remember having eaten better in the past. The sautéed mussels should have been simmered a couple of minutes longer, and the spaghetti with clams wasn't bad, but I remembered something more. Impeccable service and a pleasant atmosphere.

19/10/2025: Thank you so much. We had a fantastic meal on our first day in Ostia. The food was outstanding and the service even better. If you find yourself looking for a nice place to eat after roaming around the ruins i highly recommend.

30/10/2025: Yesterday (29/10) I went to Chalet Ciro around 4pm to buy a Parisian, a Neapolitan sandwich and a white chocolate nougat and I was really disappointed as the quality of the products had really dropped a lot: the white chocolate and pistachio nougat, for example, didn't taste like pistachio, but the worst thing was the rudeness of an employee at the nougat counter who when I showed up to collect it had her back turned chatting with a colleague and a friend of theirs who was a customer and when I tried to make myself seen by asking "who can I ask?" Since, to make myself seen, I said "good evening" twice I got no response, the employee who had her back turned towards me and with a rare acidity. I never write reviews, but I felt the need to do so this time as I invite the Chalet to review its staff because a customer cannot be treated in this way and in fact with great regret I no longer intend to return even if until a few years ago I went there almost every week

25/09/2025: The best gelato I've tasted in Rome. Natural, fresh flavors, and you can fully appreciate the natural flavors of the various fruits used (I highly recommend the fig flavor). Also, unlike many other gelato shops, they don't add much sugar to sweeten some of the tart flavors of the fruits used.

24/09/2025: Went during night time. The ice was in clumps of ice with a overly strong taste. And 5$ a cone.

18/09/2025: Very friendly guys. The food is good and the prices are affordable and fair. A great waitress who runs for 3. The only downside is the dim lighting, which is hard to read the menu 😂 Large portions. Well done!
