Best restaurant of Venice! The people are extremely nice and they welcome you with a delicious aperó at the entrance. We showed up before our table was ready and they kindly offered us a prosecco with some starters. We ate octopus with pumpkin that was absolutely delicious, and daily fish with vegetables. The food was very high quality and perfectly balanced. Very good taste, nice atmosphere and kind service! If you are in venice, it’s a must!

We happened to walk past this restaurant and got the last free table. The service was warm and very friendly. We had the six-course fish surprise menu and were absolutely delighted. Everything was fresh and incredibly delicious. The highlight of the evening, however, was the celery and tequila sorbet. It sounds really strange, but I would come back just for that. We will definitely be back, or we'll ambush the chef and wrest the recipe from him!

Antica Besseta is amazing! I’m visiting Venice for the first time and stumbled upon this gem. The food was amazing, I had the fish of the day with vegetables it was incredible paired with Souve wine. The ambiance is great, quiet, intimate, and welcoming. I would definitely go again and recommend for someone looking to try a place with deep roots in Venice.

Very disappointed by this highly-rated restaurant. The starter and main course were very good... but as for the dessert, don't bother, it was really disappointing... just ordinary. The waiter only spoke to men, blatantly ignoring women. The price was far too high for the overall quality.
