10/06/2025: I was a guest of this magnificent place on Saturday 24 May 2025 at 8:00 pm, because I was looking for a restaurant where I could frame a significant moment in my relationship, therefore a dinner as a couple. My search was meticulous and long-lasting, but having discovered this little gem repaid all my efforts. The setting is enchanting and intimate, both for the view and for the interior of the place, the lights are appropriately modulated and the background music muffles the atmosphere. We were welcomed in a cordial manner... almost affectionate, first by the waiting staff and, immediately after, by the owner Roberto. Having made specific requests during the booking phase, we were even granted the privilege of choosing our table from those available. The menu was browsed hastily because, at our request, they literally told us about the dishes available, with km 0 products and not ... already from this aspect the love for the culinary art was obvious: from the excellent quality of the raw materials, to the wise combinations and finally to the plating ... almost choreographic. The dinner followed a path of 4 courses with a "territory" theme just as I like it (each place has its own specialties). To complete this triumph of the senses, our wise host accompanied us in the choice of wines, combining our personal taste with the combination with the chosen dishes ... the waiting staff was a constant and silent presence, it was never necessary to call them and, in the same way, they did not interfere in any way with the banquet. The timing of the courses was impeccable. For once I admit that the quality/price ratio is definitely unbeatable as they are inversely proportional in favor of the former... when I paid the bill I let it slip that they were too cheap. If to the reader of this review, something may appear to be excessively in favor of the place, I invite the latter to see for themselves and possibly refute these lines of mine... but I see it as an arduous undertaking. To the owner of the Tavern goes my sincere appreciation and gratitude... you are the essence of the authentic "Made in Italy" so appreciated throughout the world. Well done! 28/06/2025: Our experience at this restaurant was overall very positive, with a few small aspects that could be improved – but nothing that would stop me from recommending it! 1. Location & Parking – The location itself isn’t the most ideal, but this is well compensated by the availability of parking, which is a huge advantage, especially considering how crowded the street can get in the evening. 2. Food – Absolutely excellent! As a big fan of Panna Cotta, I have to say this was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Every dish we tried was flavorful and well-prepared. 3. Ambiance – We chose to sit on the terrace. While the view wasn't particularly impressive and the exterior design of the restaurant could definitely use some updating, we were pleasantly surprised by the comfort. The interior has air conditioning, and the terrace is equipped with a massive fan that did a great job keeping the hot, humid air away – a thoughtful touch that really made a difference. 4. Prices – The pricing was more than fair, especially for the quality of the food and service. I can confidently recommend this place in terms of value for money. 5. Service – The staff was friendly and helpful throughout most of our visit. However, I would suggest they maintain the same respectful and welcoming attitude not only at the beginning but also when guests are leaving – small gestures can leave a lasting impression. All in all, a great dining experience that I’d definitely recommend, especially for food lovers looking for a quality meal at a reasonable price.

09/06/2025: Great place with very welcoming staff and great food. I arrived quite late (2.30pm) and were ok to serve me lunch. The lady serving on the terrasse was charming and doing everything to be comfortable, Also giving advice on food (fish and meat are fresh of the day) and drinks (different wines by the glass, Amaro del capo to drink while smoking a cigar). She also explains the history of the place, aging of the walls… which is very interesting. Very nice place with reasonable prices. Continue, it’s perfect!

27/05/2025: We ate there last night. The carbonara was truly delicious and the portions were very generous. The beef tagliatta was a treat. The welcome was warm. Thank you.

08/07/2025: I give it a passing grade. The menu is varied and the quality is good. The only thing that needs to be improved is the service, I won't go into detail but there were some not insignificant oversights. After all, it's a place I recommend if you want to find a corner of Naples in Rimini

29/06/2025: Very good place with good food, just be careful with the owner who wants to sell you the most expensive thing at all costs, which are the lobsters. We wanted to try one and he prepared two for us, which were alive.

27/06/2025: Ristorante pizzeria la Ruota, great discovery! Very nice and well-kept location, soft and pleasant atmosphere. Large and convenient parking. The service is fast and the staff very friendly. The menu is nothing short of tasty and sublime. Definitely recommended for refined and demanding palates. Prices adequate for the standard of the place.

01/07/2025: We had the chef's "blind menu" and it was a gem, the dishes were perfectly balanced, beautifully served. The service was great - they took care of us from the moment we arrived until the last moment, even though we were tourists, the waiter commented on each course and the wine paired with it - and what's more - he was very attentive to our children - which we really appreciate. The restaurant's atmosphere is very pleasant, despite the higher prices we will be happy to return - it's definitely worth it. Thank you and we recommend ⭐️

08/06/2025: If you are on your way to the Leaning Tower, be sure to stop at Paninando. Here you can drink delicious coffee and eat the best croissants with pistachio cream in the world. We have not found such anywhere else in Pisa. You can also eat delicious lunch and dessert here. A large selection of Italian flavors on the menu😊

29/06/2025: We had a reservation at Simbiosi Farm, but the experience was very disappointing. The waitress was rude, unhelpful, and clearly irritated when we asked for assistance with the Italian-only menu. I asked for a tomato-based pasta and clearly said I don’t eat pork for religious reasons. First, I was served a salad instead of pasta. Then, I was given a pasta that contained pork — despite my clear request. When I explained the mistake, the staff blamed me instead of apologizing. This showed a lack of professionalism and respect for dietary needs. Very disappointing service for a place with such a good reputation.

09/07/2025: Excellent food and service. Very nice family atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious and for accessible prices. The parking is very convenient, close and spacious. Big variety of food in the menu, especially pizza. Also gluten-free options and vegetarian friendly. It's really worth it to come here for dinner!

07/06/2025: Went to this great local gem as a group of 5 adults and 3 children. Amazing pizza. The level of service was fantastic. Even brought out complementary chips for the kids and focaccia. Clearly a family run restaurant who show genuine Sicilian hospitality. Only gave 3 star for atmosphere because we were there early and was mostly empty (Sicilians eat very late).

21/06/2025: I'll start by saying that we're not from the area, we looked for this place on the internet reading the reviews that fully reflect what they say. We were welcomed and served with extreme kindness, attention to serving gluten-free dishes and recommending the dishes. We couldn't read the menu in dialect but the owner translated and explained all the dishes to us! I recommend the courgette flowers and the very tender horse meat...not to mention the potatoes and mussels....linguine with sea urchins, a scent.... A place to return and recommend for celiacs and non-celiacs!

18/06/2025: PITY PLACE I COME EVERY TIME AND I ALWAYS ORDER TAKE-AWAY PIZZA IF ONLY ONCE THEY BRING YOU A DECENT PIZZA MADE PROPERLY AND INSTEAD NO UPSIDE DOWN PIZZA, THE SALAMI AND MOZZARELLA ALL STUCK TO THE CARDBOARD I WOULD BRING IT BACK AND THROW IT IN YOUR FACE! I MOSTLY LIVE TWO MINUTES FROM THE PLACE HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THE PIZZA IS ALWAYS FROZEN.
