20/06/2025: A nice surprise off the beaten track. Specialists in pinsa, a refined and simple environment inside a former factory where the exposed lava stone enhances everything. The choice fell on the classic horse meatballs which in Catania are a must on a bed of excellent caramelized onion and sautéed chicory, excellent bread. Excellent service, the only flaw is the background music which should be improved..for the rest the quality/price ratio is in line. Recommended

01/07/2025: During our vacation in Polignano a Mare we had dinner two nights at the Antiche Mura restaurant. The place is very nice, excellent quality of the dishes, very kind staff and Fabio the owner is very helpful. Highly recommended

23/06/2025: Update: Following your response, I would like to point out that telling you that it was “for taste” was gallantry, the fish was so bad that it made both me and my partner feel sick I would add that I felt unwell as soon as I left the restaurant and had diarrhea and vomiting by the time I got back to my accommodation… Do some soul searching and reread my review as a “food blogger” as you called it, I’ve paid you too many compliments. Respectful restaurants not only avoid charging for two menus when only one has been consumed out of disgust, but they also offer sincere and polite apologies… Original: Last night (it was a Sunday) I had dinner at U Palangaru with my partner. As soon as we arrived, the restaurant, in a pedestrian area, looked good, with a relaxing atmosphere and attentive staff. We tried an appetizer consisting of six different “tastes” that were very tasty. First course strozzapreti with prawns, delicious and a dish of linguine with swordfish and prawns; the latter, in addition to being full of parsley to hide the fish not being fresh, we sent it back because we didn't like it; the waiter asked us if we wanted to change the dish, but we gave up because we still had the fried fish as a second course, and having been warned from the beginning that the portions would be abundant. The second course was decent but not exceptional. We gave up on coffee and bitter that would have been included in the menu because we were already nauseated and unfortunately both in the evening and the next morning we both felt bad.. When it came to the bill I had to point out that a first course had been sent back, I was asked if it was a problem with the dish but I preferred to say that we hadn't liked the taste as previously explained; in any case we were charged for two menus, a complete one and a first course, but all in all for €60 I didn't even want to argue anymore. We definitely won't be returning to this place, too bad because the potential is great, all it would take is a little more attention to the kitchen since they certainly know what they're doing in the dining room. 02/06/2025: Short but intense. Our stay was just one night. Ideal base for our excursions to Ponale and the Church of S. Barbara. Clean, welcoming and very kind. Practically in the center with convenient parking.

29/05/2025: I do not recommend dealing with a hotel. They are uncooperative. There is no elevator. There are no cleaning materials such as shampoo. The room is small, the breakfast has limited items and is not varied. The checkout time is very early at 10:30. We asked them to keep our bags until our flight time, but they refused.

20/06/2025: Family dinner with wife and 5 month old baby. When booking we asked for a table where we could put the stroller without hindering the service and they accommodated us without any problems. Excellent cold seafood appetizer. A first course, for me, with black tagliatelle and a mixed grill for my wife: both excellent, tasty and well presented. Very good dessert, a cheesecake for me and tiramisu for my wife. Precise, kind and friendly staff. The only nice note: make the cheesecake bigger because it is good! Not to forget the splendid view of the sea.

16/03/2025: Uno de esos pequeños restaurantes locales en los que sueñas deambular. No teníamos expectativas, simplemente resultó ser al lado de donde nos alojamos, pero chico tuvimos suerte. Maravillosa comida, vino muy asequible, y un servicio increíble. De todos los lugares que comimos en Verona, este es uno de los dos a los que no dudaríamos en volver.

11/06/2025: Once again, the food was excellent. The wild boar fillet was a delight, and the parpadelle with hare ragù is also highly recommended.

12/05/2025: It wasn't a dinner but an amazing culinary experience... I ate very well... Starter "I wanted to be a tomato" which was fabulous, very high quality ingredients and 10/10 preparation... Every single detail was prepared and placed on the plate with care and professionalism and not by chance.... The second course had a strong and very intense taste as this type of meat preparation must be... Very clean and well looked after place, well stocked wine list and vast typology of wines... Daniele an excellent host a house that just by looking at it gives you confidence and you already understand what you are eating... Super highly recommended!!!!!

16/06/2025: This was an amazing meal with my family. It was my sons birthday is this exceeded all expectations. My favorite was the octopus salad and the truffle pasta. Maybe the best pasta I have ever eaten. All the plates were cleaned and we left stuffed and fully satisfied. We will be back when come back to Sorrento. The chef is just lovely and service was outstanding.

09/06/2025: We had the absolute pleasure of dining at Ndre in Sorrento, and we honestly can’t recommend it enough. We chose the 4-course vegetarian tasting menu, and it was nothing short of exceptional. Every dish was beautifully plated, thoughtfully prepared, and bursting with flavor. As we sat enjoying our final bites, we couldn’t help but feel a little bad for the crowds of tourists packed into the busy spots along the main strip only a few minutes walk away from the crowds. If you’re looking for a dinner that’s a bit more intimate, elevated, and genuinely memorable, make the short walk. You won’t regret it.
