As a Calabrian who has lived in Bergamo for over 10 years, I can only thank Medmea for allowing me and my family to rediscover the flavor, authenticity, and honesty of the past, truly satisfying all palates at a very reasonable price.
Medmea is a beacon of hope amidst so many seemingly innovative but essentially trendy, like-catching so-called "realities," often at pretentious and unfair prices.

The food was excellent and the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions.
The restaurant is welcoming and has several rooms with plenty of tables, so reservations aren't necessary unless you're a large group.
The service is excellent, as are all the dishes.

We went to Medmea on a recommendation and couldn't have made a better choice. Truly generous portions and incredibly fresh fish: the struncatura and fried fish were exceptional!
The staff is incredibly welcoming and attentive, making you feel right at home. The value for money is unmatched; you pay just the right amount and leave feeling full. It's also very convenient for those traveling, given its proximity to the highway.
We'll definitely be back, highly recommended!

We've dined at this wonderful restaurant a couple of times, and the overall experience was truly wonderful.
We also found the price-quality ratio to be absolutely fair and balanced, considering the quality of the dishes. The staff was friendly, and the overall service was excellent. THANK YOU SO MUCH

Excellent food, plenty of choice, quick service (despite it being a Saturday night and plenty of tables occupied), attentive and friendly waiters, truly generous portions (I struggled to finish my first course), prices like you've never seen before, a nice location, easy to get to (just off the highway), and parking in front. What more could you ask for? Well done 👏
P.S. 🍕 I've never seen a Margherita for €4 again. And I imagine the pizza here is excellent: that night I lost count of the number of people who ordered takeout and came to pick it up.
