Chantecler's Trattoria In Sorrento

My favorite dinner during our time in Sorrento. The food was incredible and everyone was very kind. But we arrived for our reservation at 8:30p and were not sat until 9:15p. The meal also took a long time to come to the table, but when it tastes that good it’s easy to forget. I would absolutely recommend, just prepare for a longer stay and have your patient pants on.

A great find in Sorrento. The type of local family Italian restaurant that you look forward to finding. The little things that matter including olive oil with their great bread, fresh local ingredients and a fair service charge. Prices are lower than most places. Love the decor and the staff are friendly.

During our several days in Italy, this was one of the most authentic trattoria experiences. Generous portions of food, a very cozy atmosphere, excellent service, and a fair price. I recommend it!

Was fully booked, still they had time for us! Alfresco style. Out side in alley way. Food was amazing. Very attentive service, as I worked in field for 10 years 5 of which for 2 famous Italian tv celebrity chefs. Even had fresh mint pot on table and decor!. Ordered courgette flowers and steamed mussels. Then pasta zucchini and the gnocchi. Absolutely amazing service and food. Real hidden gem. Off the main street which was full of chaos. We couldn't hear a thing. Peace and quiet. Table olives and bread served 1st. Must tip in cash guys especially if you pay by card/touch etc. Unfortunately can't carry lots of cash and can't expect to touch cards for less than 10 euro! I'm kicking myself for not having the risotto special pumpkin!!

I love to eat where locals do. We stumbled upon this place searching for a good meal. And we got it! Nicely and homey decorated inside with a great wine and very tasty food. Affordable, too.

Small family-owned trattoria that serves well-prepared, very tasty and affordable traditional food. Fast service by the very nice siblings. Looking forward to visiting you again!

Walked past this last night, sign in door says closed until March 17th. Google said it was open!
