The tagliatelle with truffles had an EXCEPTIONAL amount of truffles!!
The grilled lamb was VERY plentiful and, above all, delicious!!
The only downside is that you have to book well in advance for weekends.

We had Easter lunch at Trattoria Il Nido dell'Aquila and were truly delighted.
There were three of us (my wife, my son, and I) and we found a quiet and welcoming atmosphere, with extremely kind and helpful staff. The service was attentive and meticulous throughout the lunch.
The Easter menu was rich and well-structured: an excellent Easter appetizer with offal, followed by a delicate and flavorful yellow squash and truffle risotto. The two-tone chitarrine with white ragù and porcini mushrooms were truly excellent, well-seasoned and tasty. The porcini mushroom cubaroll with grilled vegetables was also a great success, as was the crispy and flavorful fried lamb.
All this was accompanied by Easter pizza and Vernaccia, which perfectly complemented the lunch.
Generous portions, excellent quality, and great attention to detail.
Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back! 👏

Dinner for a birthday party. Everything was delicious and plentiful. I, who am gluten and lactose intolerant, was impeccably accommodated. The staff was kind and professional.

I haven't found anything better for the price. The speed of service depends on the location. Since there are a lot of people coming in and the kitchen space isn't much, those who arrive later are somewhat penalized in terms of service speed.
The staff is friendly and always available. When we're in the area with a group, even though there are other restaurants where the food isn't bad, we always prefer Il Nido dell'Aquila. Thanks, Budassi.

I returned to the "Ristorante Il Nido Dell'Aquila" and was truly impressed. The restaurant is located in the heart of the Sibillini Mountains, in an area that experienced difficult times after the 2016 earthquake, but today exudes strength, hospitality, and a strong desire to start over. Reservations are essential, even on weekdays, because the restaurant is always busy—and that's already a great sign.
The food is excellent and plentiful, prepared with authentic ingredients and traditional Marche dishes. Everything is cooked with passion: from the homemade first courses to the meat-based main courses, and even the strictly artisanal desserts. The portions are truly generous, so much so that we had to ask to take part of the main courses away!
The game dishes are unmissable, especially the hare. Among the real highlights, I recommend the beans with pork rind, the pig's trotters, the snails, and the tripe, but especially the offal—a true rarity that's hard to find these days. The grilled meat, especially the lamb, is succulent and expertly cooked.
Prices are average: around €35 per person. Considering the quality, quantity, and atmosphere, the value is excellent.
The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is simple and familiar, perfect for those seeking a tasty break in the mountains. Everything here tastes of home, tradition, and the highest-quality ingredients.
