I'm writing this review not only for the friendliness, but also for the quality of the products, both in the pastries and the coffee shop. I'm sure for personal reasons. I just wanted to thank you for everything. Your pizza is the best I've ever eaten (and I've eaten a lot of pizzas). My girlfriend and I were always happy to come to you, and we've been customers for about 10 years now. We're extremely sad that we won't have the opportunity to come to you again, but there was definitely a good reason. Our only regret is that if we'd known, we would have come one last time. 19/05/2026: They've made an agreement with the Speranza Agrate football club (as per the photos sent by the club itself), so if you go to the Speranza stadium, you'll see banners advertising "PIZZERIE AL GROTTINO," and then when you show up with your membership card, they tell you: That only the Grottino in Agrate has an agreement. That they only give a discount to members or the team... But do you know what an agreement means? It would be best to remove the advertising and the agreement if you don't want to apply the discount! Unfair.

18/12/2025: Usually the croissants are very good and you can taste the quality of the product but despite this sometimes it happens that the croissant they give you for breakfast, even if you go at 7:00 in the morning, is clearly from the day before and this leaves a bit of a bitter taste in the mouth given the standard of the place.

02/03/2026: What can I say...simply wonderful! The atmosphere is perfect for a romantic dinner. The dishes are incredibly tasty, carefully crafted, and impressive. We chose the meat tasting menu with matching glasses of wine and were very satisfied. Like the dishes, the service was impeccable. We'll definitely return for another high-quality experience.

05/05/2026: A nice place with a green outdoor area. The Tsunami aperitif was good, perhaps a little light, but fresh and thirst-quenching. Each diner was served a small platter with olives, mini pizzas, salsa, chips, salami, and a small bowl of tomato gnocchi. The pizza was a bit gluttonous, but not hot; served lukewarm, it might have been better; the gnocchi were rather hard. Overall, the experience was positive.

17/05/2026: The flavor of the dishes wasn't entirely convincing... good ingredients, but something was missing. The service was quick, though sometimes imprecise.

16/05/2026: Excellent restaurant with a characteristic interior and excellent cuisine. Both fish and meat dishes are carefully prepared. I recommend the truly excellent first courses. A wide selection of wines is available, and the staff is very kind and ready to advise. I returned today, May 16th, for lunch with my family, and as always, the food was excellent. I found the menu more extensive than a few years ago. I recommend the excellent cured meats as an appetizer. Another dish I recommend is the ossobuco with yellow risotto, which is truly exquisite. Desserts are definitely worth trying. This isn't a negative, but the wine list, with its wide selection of sparkling white and red wines, is a little on the high side.

07/03/2026: The pizza was thin and good. The meat, a slice cooked to perfection (medium), was also very good. There's perhaps a little room for improvement regarding the service: during the evening, we were asked if we wanted coffee four times, by four different people, and then the wait for it was about 20 minutes. You guys are a bit distracted... These things can happen on a busy evening; with a little more coordination and attention, the service would have perfectly matched the quality of the food. 👍

07/03/2026: Forced to give 1 star, but if I could, I'd give even fewer. I ordered 6 takeout pizzas. When I picked them up and got them home, 2 of them were missing the speck. I paid full price for the pizzas without the ingredients. After calling the restaurant to report the oversight, they replied, "We'll fix it next time." I went to the restaurant to order the pizza with speck and was given a tray with speck inside. Ridiculous, to say the least. Never again. Don't go there; they charge full price for the pizzas and don't include the ingredients.

22/04/2026: Excellent pizza, both the dough and the sophisticated and unique combinations offered. A true delight for the palate. The quality/price ratio is excellent given the quality of the ingredients. I'll definitely be back!

13/03/2026: I received a prepaid card as a gift. I went for breakfast, and they asked me to pay in cash because the card is only valid for coffee and croissants. Cappuccino and other items aren't included in the card. Maybe write it on the card, and I still have to pay in cash. 😡😡😡
