02/11/2025: Fantastic little place we found by chance on a Sunday afternoon, a table free by PURE LUCK. The interior is delightfully vintage, that genuine, lived-in, beautifully rugged vintage. The young lady who listed the dishes of the day was very kind! We had a mixed platter, with an honorable mention for the cheeses—few but delicious—and the freshly sliced ​​prosciutto, thick and flavorful, just the way I like it! Next up were two saffron and sausage risottos, not particularly excellent, perhaps a little overcooked, but ultimately, it's not just the food that would make me return. We finished with a veal stew with honey mushrooms, very, very tasty. Portions designed to let you enjoy a full menu like a working man, so a super bonus even for those like me who don't have as big a stomach as they'd like but who like to eat a variety of things. Homemade cakes that warm the heart, a half-bottle of house wine (we had red), which was very welcome, and a couple of coffees. €54 well spent, not only for what you get but for the atmosphere you experience! 10/10 great guys ⭐️

29/10/2025: Bar Trattoria Basilio – Vimercate (MB) A small, convenient spot in the heart of Vimercate, just steps from the Powi charging station (AC 22 kW, we charge at 16 kW): a perfect stop for those traveling electric and looking for good, straightforward dining. A historic establishment, almost suspended in time—thankfully—where the atmosphere is authentic, like that of a local trattoria: friendly, welcoming management, always ready to chat. The portions are just right, the cuisine is honest and meticulous, and the parsley potatoes deserve a special mention: excellent, and even more significant considering that the annual Potato Festival is held nearby in Oreno. A place we'll gladly return to: simple, authentic, and with a familiarity that's hard to find these days. For us, a regular and always pleasant stop between charging stations. ⸻ 🇬🇧 Bar Trattoria Basilio – Vimercate (MB) A small, reliable stop in the heart of Vimercate, just a short walk from the Powi charging station (AC 22 kW — we charge at 16 kW): the ideal break for anyone traveling by EV and looking for good, honest food. A historic local tavern, pleasantly stuck in time — and that's a good thing. The owners are friendly and welcoming, the portions are spot-on, and everything feels genuine. Special mention for the parsley potatoes — excellent in flavor and perfectly cooked — especially fitting since nearby Oreno hosts the famous Potato Festival every year. A place you'll want to come back to: simple, authentic, and consistently good. For us, a regular and reliable stop between one charge and the next.

14/11/2025: The pizza is excellent, always made with quality ingredients, and the service is efficient (I recommend booking takeout well in advance on weekends). One of the best in Seregno.

19/07/2025: Terrible experience They have gluten-free cones, but when I asked for a gluten-free cone and ice cream from the NON-contaminated side with a clean scoop, I was rudely told no because they didn't want to ruin the appearance of the ice cream tub. Having a daughter with celiac disease, we grabbed our cone and left despite having waited in line. Definitely a place to avoid.

07/11/2025: The place is truly spectacular, but the rest leaves much to be desired... I sent back the "Black Mojito" drink; it was saltier than a salt-and-lemon tequila. The waiter was kind enough to let me refill it, but let's just say the bartenders on duty were annoyed at my request (not a great scene). Well, I got the drink back, and it was identical... I'll go back and try dinner. Well, did I say I'd come back for dinner? Sublime dinner and impeccable service!

04/11/2025: Quiet atmosphere, modern decor, clean, low noise level. After ordering, we were offered a very good focaccia while we waited. Traditional, thin-crust, well-cooked pizzas—there were 15 of us—each pizza was different, but all delicious. Fantastic desserts, prepared by the chef. We'll be back. The staff were very kind and discreet; we were the last ones to leave without anyone noticing.

10/10/2025: Quiet place, the food is not bad, but they ABSOLUTELY need to hire staff, having just one person managing the dining room is inconceivable, it makes you lose your patience, rather than a trattoria for the hasty it should be called a trattoria for the LATEATER!

28/09/2025: A discreet and quiet place, with a very helpful owner and very friendly staff. Prices are in line with the market. The pizza and some dishes (like the spaghetti sottocoperta) are fantastic, while others could be slightly improved, but still well above average. I was there last week and wanted to return this week: when the opportunity arises, I'll be back again!

18/10/2025: A super nice surprise during our stay in Monza. Although we are not fans of thick crust pizza, this one charmed us and we went there 3 times in two days. Quattro formaghi absolutely perfect 👌 The sweetest lady, who also willingly gave advice and forgave us for not speaking Italian 🤭

10/09/2025: Delicious pizza by the slice, available in two sizes: regular and large (get the large, it's worth it!) Friendly and friendly owners, always good and light pizza; unlike other pizzas, you won't find yourself having to drink gallons of water in the middle of the night. The atmosphere is basic and basic, but what matters is the pizza 😋😋😋 Affordable prices despite the recent increase; for around €10 you can get a large slice with toppings of your choice, a drink, and coffee!
