24/03/2026: Good value for money, service could be improved a little

22/03/2026: The door is wooden and bears the name "Birot." I thought I was entering a trattoria, but inside, the furnishings are 20th-century in style, with a fireplace and period pieces, a carefully contrasting array of abstract paintings on the walls, meticulously set tables, slim-fitting waiters with napkins under their arms, and helpful staff. It's essentially a grand restaurant disguised as a trattoria, and this embarrasses me and my guests, who were expecting to have lunch in a family-friendly setting. They bring us the menu, meticulously crafted in both style and content. We each order a main course, a quarter of a liter of wine to toast, a bottle of still water, and four coffees. My friend's wife and I order ossobuco with risotto alla milanese. The risotto is good, but the ossobuco is dry and cold, as if it were baked the day before, and without the "cremolata," typical of this dish—a disappointment. We finish and I go to pay: €165, as if we'd had a full lunch! The quality-price ratio is terrible, given the grand staging that hardly befits a trattoria, real or fake. The Birot is a place that won't see us again!

The food was so good that only after I finished it did I remember I had to take a photo... The staff was friendly and service was quick. Highly recommended.

The pizza is very easy to digest, a sign of the quality of the ingredients. The owner is friendly and knows how to deal with customers. The beers on offer are excellent.

10/04/2026: Baptism In reality, Bergamina isn't just a place for special occasions these days. But we couldn't have chosen a different location for our daughter's baptism. Living nearby and having such a great time, we love spending time together at Bergamina. My cousin even chose to celebrate her graduation there because she was so inspired by our enthusiasm. Anna, Grazia, and Massimo are extremely helpful and kind. The location reminds me of restaurants from the '90s. I feel like a child again when I'm there. Everything is in its place. An elegant, spacious restaurant with a large, very romantic garden. There are play areas for children and outdoor areas to relax between courses. Especially in spring, Bergamina is an explosion of flowers and offers its best. The food is good, especially the risottos and the meat dishes, which are our Achilles heel. In any case, they know how to please everyone. It was a wonderful day for us; the children had fun running and playing in the meadow. Our guests had a wonderful time with us. 09/04/2026: We were welcomed like we hadn't been in a long time. We chose instinctively and we have no regrets. The reception for our son's baptism was a complete success for us and for the guests who continue to compliment us after days. But it's only right that compliments go to those who deserve them. Thank you for everything.
