13/09/2025: Today I treated myself to a treat and at Bar Massimo they have homemade cookies with walnuts and chocolate chips that are amazing. Not just delicious... More than that!! I couldn't resist and remembered the photo when I had already eaten half of them 😉😋. Well done!!

It stands out for its creativity and variety, often underrated or little-known, but it must be said that today it is a leading player on the international scene, with Lima recognized as a gastronomic capital and four Peruvian restaurants ranking among the world's top restaurants. Chakana perfectly embodies this passion with tasty traditional cuisine and carefully crafted plating that showcases every ingredient. The welcoming atmosphere and attention to detail make the experience even more enjoyable. I personally chose the Papa a la Huancaína, the Anticuchos de Corazón, and the classic Lomo Saltado, accompanied by the ever-present Pisco Sour as an aperitif. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the prices are fair and in line with the quality offered. We will definitely be back, especially because next time I want to order the ceviche, a fresh dish of raw fish marinated in lime juice, considered a cultural heritage of Peru and a symbol of its gastronomy.

30/07/2025: Personally, I rarely praise a restaurant. But this little place deserves it. The menu is limited, but the dishes are carefully selected and superb! I tried the chaufa rice, salted pork loin, rice with seafood, aji de gallina, pachamanca, causacevichada, leche de tigre, and anticuchos—all of which I've tried several times, and because I'm a regular, I recommend them all! As for the cocktails, there's not much to say; the pisco sour is their best. The only small flaw concerns the girls who work there; I'll start by saying they're very kind, but for my money, I think they lack a bit of training in table service. I'd also like to thank the owner for his patience, kindness, and the smile he always has for everyone. I also remember that they sometimes organize interesting events, shows, and live music!

In the evening, they serve authentic Neapolitan pizza, the kind with a thick, fragrant crust, made with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients, many of which are traditional Neapolitan. An explosion of flavor with every bite! The service is impeccable: the staff is incredibly kind, smiling, and always available. They make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Highly recommended if you're looking for an authentic, tasty, and enjoyable experience. I'll definitely be back!

24/08/2025: Fantastic place, although a bit hidden, which is a real shame because they really know their stuff with meat! I tried the bone marrow, which was amazing as a starter, and a very tender and flavorful main course. I came back on Saturday for a quick dinner: the burger with tartare was fabulous, and the kids were served with great attention. The staff is very kind and knows how to recommend food perfectly. I'll definitely be back!

24/07/2025: Lovely service, nice women, English spoken. Food was quite dry and uninspiring for our taste. It was like healthy options or veggie food from the 80s. Nowadays we are spoilt for choice and expect more. We also found it a tad expensive for reheated deli food. Maybe because we were starving and eat more than Monzanians😅

The food is excellent, with classic yet unique dishes...you can find everything from classic burgers to more original creations, and the fried fish is excellent, with generous portions! Perfect for a romantic dinner or a get-together with friends.

14/09/2025: What can I say... Discovered by chance on The Fork, it's not worth a cent from the outside, but once inside, you find yourself in a modern place with a decidedly bistro-like feel. Incredible food, from meatballs to smash burgers, you'll find GOOD STUFF here at fair prices. Definitely worth trying out the entire menu and highly recommended!
