29/08/2025: A very nice place with a swimming pool in the summer for those who want to swim or have an aperitif near the pool. In the winter when you eat inside there is a fireplace, excellent. The food is good, all local and Mantuan food. The staff and owner are friendly. One of my favorite restaurants, I go there every now and then with great pleasure. I recommend it.

19/11/2025: A beautiful trattoria serving traditional Mantuan dishes. I went for lunch to try Mantuan cuisine and enjoyed all the dishes. The first courses were delicious, and the meats were excellent, served with appropriate side dishes. The finale was excellent, with a fabulous Elvezia cake. The service was quick despite the restaurant being packed.
13/11/2025: A wonderful culinary experience during a very brief two-day visit to Mantua. We shared a charcuterie appetizer. Then came the restaurant's signature entrees: maccheroncini allo stracotto (a type of stew) and pumpkin tortelli. Main courses: stew with roasted polenta and boiled meats, accompanied by salsa verde (green sauce) and Mantuan mostarda (mostarda mantovana), which (unfortunately, I didn't know) is made only with apples: excellent. A mezzanine of Lambrusco and water. Everything perfect.

11/10/2025: A small agriturismo with a carefully selected and carefully curated menu. The owners are extremely kind, and their descriptions of the dishes are delightful.
16/08/2025: A true and authentic agriturismo, all care and attention. Fruit and vegetables, mostly from the garden, homemade pasta, express service. Locally sourced products, a short supply chain that speaks volumes about heart and knowledge.
The menu is seasonal and themed, the combinations creative and well-executed. Dishes that are satisfying.
The service is precise and the dishes are well-explained. From appetizer to dessert, a journey you wish would never end. Reservations are recommended, ideal for a couple. Giuliano and Paola make you feel at ease; it's a welcoming space that feels like home after a few minutes, where time stands still and you feel happy between two delicious moments.

26/10/2025: Typical menu with interesting additions (the savory sbrisolona is delicious!), friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.
24/09/2025: Huge disappointment. Well located, warm atmosphere with some tables on the side street and friendly staff. The dishes we had however were close to awful. The leak and mushroom lasagna was still cold from reheating and the look was bland with no taste. Even worse was the sarda pasta which was inedible. A mushy grey looking pastr mixed in with pasta and overwhelmed with breadcrumbs. This can be a wonderful dish if you use the right ingredients and know how to prepare it. Maybe the chef was sick that day but based on what I saw they certainly do not deserve the review score they have. The house Chardonnay on the other hand was very good.

03/11/2025: A truly welcoming and refined place, with a vintage atmosphere full of charm and memories of the past that makes you feel immediately at home.
The service is impeccable, attentive, knowledgeable, and always friendly.
The cuisine is excellent: tripe worthy of applause, tasty and generous cold cuts for the appetizer, accompanied by a house Lambrusco of great character.
And to finish, delicious desserts that perfectly round off a truly pleasant experience.
An authentic place, where you can breathe in tradition and a passion for good food.
Highly recommended!

The burgers are excellent, and the pizzas are tasty and well-seasoned.
Back at the bar, in addition to beers, there's a nice selection of spirits and cocktails.
The atmosphere is pleasant, warm, and welcoming. On weekends, there may be live music events (rock/metal), so it can be a bit noisy...
The staff is friendly and helpful. Service isn't slow, but they do pay attention, just like the beer tap, which isn't thrown around like cold water, but rather poured properly.

friends. The place is three minutes from the
Basilica of Sant'Andrea. Speaking of the
restaurant, from the outside it's very beautiful
and welcoming, and inside it's cute.
The service is excellent, the waiters are both
kind and fast (the waiter is handsome and
kind, I had to say that). Anyway,
the food is excellent. I recommend you come.

Elegant and welcoming restaurant in the lower province of Mantua with unquestionable quality, in all types of dishes served, from appetizers to first courses, and second courses. The house specialty is the Florentine steak, and I can honestly tell you that you don't have to go to Tuscany to eat an excellent one... all washed down with a wine list worthy of the best wine shops on the market. The staff is excellent and discreet, with a very attentive Head Waiter Sabrina and a brilliant chef Marco Fincati... P.S. the desserts are no less delicious and it's best to book.
