Here we are at La Spagnola... 😊 Accompanied by a couple of friends, we had dinner at the pizzeria La Spagnola in Castiglione delle Stiviere. Let's start with the building and the interior... Perhaps the only aspect that's a little subdued... but as soon as you get there and pick up the menu, you know you're in a special place. There are no frills here; they make and eat pizza, period. On the menu, you'll find only pizza, and a truly unique kind of pizza. My feeling with such a decisive choice was that of a love and respect for pizza that shines through in every bite. Now, let's get to the pizza... Truly excellent... An unusual but amazing dough... Top-quality ingredients and meticulous, meticulous preparation... Look at the photos to understand... or rather, come and try it!!!! The waiter was very courteous and kind, something I really appreciate. Remember to book ahead of time... and enjoy this wonderful experience.

The pizza is truly exceptional! The place is run with a very unique and distinctive philosophy. The decor is dated and doesn't make the place very glamorous. But after all, this is a pizzeria, and pizza is the undisputed star! Attention to detail, high-quality ingredients, and flavors that are anything but predictable. We were very satisfied. Found this place by chance while browsing the reviews. The place itself is fairly "normal," simple and clean, but a bit anonymous. For those who like contemporary pizza, with a thick crust (but well-cooked and light) and quality ingredients paired with unusual and delicious combinations, this is the place. Among the best pizzas I've ever eaten; rich yet light. The mozzarella is clearly high-quality: endless strands when you split the slices. The sharing pizza option, served in slices on a stand, is excellent: while you're eating these hot slices, the rest won't get cold, because the next one arrives shortly after. The owner is friendly (as is the waitress) and willing to recommend and describe the various pizzas. I think the specific requirement for reservations is a bit "rigid," especially since, being away from the bustle of the city, people are now accustomed to booking in advance.
